ALDI Lightway 1500 Lumen Power Bank Torch (Apr 2019, Mar 2020) Questions & Answers
VerifiedWhere can I find new rechargeable batteries for this torch?
How do I change the battery on a TTA-3110 Aldi torch?
I can’t find how/where to open it.
Could anyone please let me know where to buy batteries for this bullshit torch? Thank you.
Can I still buy this?
How much cost
It was $30.00, Nikola B. Very little considering its quality. It has been incredibly useful.
Where do you buy a charger as it did not come with one
Mine came with a USB cable. One end is a micro USB plug which goes into the micro USB port on the torch. The other end is a normal USB plug which you plug into your computer or into a phone/tablet etc charger such as, say, the Apple 10 watt USB Power Adapter. Hope that helps.
can I still order or buy this torch
I have not seen any of these on sale for a long time. If I found any I would like one myself.
can I still buy this
can I still buy thid
I think it is discontinued
I bought the Aldi Lightway torch but l don’t know how to charge it?
Turning the metal ring, that is slightly larger diameter than torch handle, will reveal micro USB charging port and and USB power bank connector..
Don't worry about charging this torch. Bin it and save your time. Shirley.
Pull the top or light head away from the main body it reveals the USB charge socket. Charge with phone charging cable. Last ages. Great torch! Peter
Can I buy a new bulb . has been a very good torch .rolled off the table and does not work .
It looks like it is a single LED bulb. I would have thought it would be replaceable from a specialist store.
Best thing for this torch is the rubbish tip. Mine worked for a while then would not charge. Shirley.
how long does it take to charge?
Only charged it twice. Remember it was under an hour
Do you have a service center here at manila? because our flashlight not function.
how much does this torch cost ?
About $30-40
Worst torch ever. Waste of money. It worked fantastically for a few months, then won't charge. I took it to the top. Rubbish.
I would have bought it from you.
How long does it take to recharge the battery
The torch is charging for 2 - 5 minutes, then the light goes green. Previously it has taken 30 minutes or so to charge and was ok. When I go to turn the torch on, it has no light, it does have a tiny dot light in the globe. No torch light at all though. Previously this torch had a really long beam, I could see from the house to the creek which is about 150 meters away. I used the torch to check the cattle at night. I had not dropped the torch or anything so I am not sure why it will not charge. It had a small stand built into it, which was handy to angle the light. I have thrown out the torch and I have the receipt that I put down as a business deduction on the farm. I do not expect a replacement or refund because I do not have the receipt handy. I will not buy any further torches like this again though.
Tony.B : I'm not sure how you found lithium cells at Aldi , but anyway, the torch comes with a pack that is 2S1P , that means whilst the cells look like they're in series, they're actually in parallel and put out 3.7v. If you just buy 3.7v Cell's and pop them in, you'll get 7.2v and smoke will indeed come out.. So hopefully that explains why that happend , and as a warning to others DO NOT put two single Cells in as replacements. cheers
Hi, is this light way is still available at any Aldi's. Please let me know
Can the rechargeable battery be replaced in the future
Hi I need to buy a couple of 1500 lumen torches please I live in Melbourne South eastern Can you please help? Thanks. Costas
I noticed that in my local Aldi, they have a couple back in. Check your local Aldi store to see if they have stock. OR try a company called Snowys, Liteshop, BCF or even Bunnings or torches by OLIGHT which is a good brand, and so is Nitecore, use Google as your friend in this.
