The Aldi brand mountain bike that was sold this year was the Estate brand 29" mid motor mountain bike. I love mine and ride it on a regular basis. It has held up well and not required any work other then charging, to keep running.

Hi, how long is the warranty of the 29" Premium Adult Mountain Bike lastest model and what does the warranty cover?
Hi Freddy, The warranty for this bike is one year. The warranty explains that defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the product that the consumer has under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and similar state and territory laws.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This warranty is valid for the original purchase and is not transferable. Please keep your purchase docket, tax invoice or receipt as the best proof of purchase, and as proof of date on which the purchase was made.
This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship or parts. All defective products or parts will be repaired or replaced. This warranty does not cover batteries or any other consumable items.
This warranty does NOT cover: normal wear and tear to the products or parts, any defects caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, unauthorised modification, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair by a person not authorised by the distributor, any product that has not been installed, operated or maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s operating instructions provided with the product, any product that has been used for purposes other than domestic use, or any damage caused by improper power input or improper cable connection.

Can you buy parts for these bikes as my bike is out of warranty?
where do you place the charger cable on the Aldi Estate EBike
Hi Faye, To attach the charger cable to the battery, we strongly recommend removing the battery from the bike first. Then, remove the battery cover from the end of the battery that includes the display lights. You can then plug in the charger's DC connector side into the battery.
For a visual aid, and more detailed instructions, we recommend looking at page 20 (specifically Fig. 30) of the instruction manual: external link
WARNING: Only use the charger supplied with this bicycle to charge the battery. Do not charge the battery with any other (or universal) charger, doing so will void the warranty. Do not use this charger to charge any other bike.
WARNING: Do not leave the battery charging unsupervised!

Where can I buy disk pads for that Crane MTB?
I have the 2020 model and would like to know what diameter seat post it is, please? I am looking at a suspension seatpost to take out some of the minor bumps.
I would also like to know this
Aldi interested in your new imminent ebike. However ads say it's only got a battery with a 30k range. Is that right?
Hey, I don't have one but can recommend you do your own homework so you understand what is going on with these things. Battery sizes, motor power etc. See what is out there including if they're selling a current product under their name but at a better price. I've seen them do that. Some of the basic/primer vids on YT give a good rundown. And see what people are saying about previous Aldi offerings. Bear in mind that the pricing generally attracts customers who (possibly like you?) previously wouldn't have considered them. Some of their concerns may be due to their lack of knowledge more than the actual performance of the product. Aldi has a good returns attitude/policy so they won't be selling things in bulk if they think they're going to get lots of duds. I have had a dud TV from Aldi but it was clearly a random fault in manufacturing and they were good with sorting it out.
That previous one looked pretty good I thought. Not the style I wanted but it was cheaper than anything I could order online and I know Aldi will help if there are issues, rather than going through some overseas returns thing...
I’m looking for a derailleur hanger for my 29” crane mountain bike. I’ve found it on bicycles online (polygon/Marin number 9) but it’s out of stock. Any ideas where it might be available in Australia? Thanks. John
