very bad service and refuse to reimburse a prescribe medication expenses even tho it was covered in my policy
Every time I tried to call them I will always need to wait for a long time. When I emailed them, the response rate will be 3-4 weeks. How am I supposed to get help for my health? Recently submitted a claim on prescription medicine, was rejected saying that it was not covered in my plan. Well, it is covered in my plan and I need my reimburse. Pay too much money for this insurance. Bad experience.

Disappointing & misleading!
Given the covid-19 situation and how I was feeling last November, I used their own "Find A Doctor" feature to know where I can have a GP/Clinic that won't charge any gap fee and will be covered w my insurance. This is where I landed with Home Visit Doctor, as this was the best option back then.. but it ended up as a Tele-Health and not a home visit due to said circumstances.
However, when I made a claim last December 2 through the app, I got a response Dec 17 stating that it's not covered. Reason? It was a Tele-Health.

vider, why would you include a Tele-Health clinic on your app in the first place if it would not be covered? Good thing the bill was just $45 and didn't cost me an arm and leg. This is so disappointing and very misleading. So, I encourage other students try other insurance provider, coz apart from this issue they don't have a lot of offices unlike its competitors that not only have more presence but they do have their own clinics where you can avail of services. And if you're thinking having them/ or a representative on campus is beneficial, think again specially if you live outside the university accommodations (way cheaper) coz they're just there for administrative functions (can be done online and via phone like many others) and not clinical.1 comment

Poor service. I applied for a refund and submit all documents they require on 21st December 2020. But I did not receive any reply from them until now. Today is 12th Jan 2021.

Horrible service and all round terrible provider
I have been given the round around regarding my claims for about a month now. When I call, the agents continue to give me the party line that the issue has been escalated when they know they are not going to escalate it. DO NOT USE ALLIANZ.... except you have the energy to keep fighting with agents that know nothing about claims. They keep trying to short change unsuspecting customers. My advice, get familiar with mbs and its workings that way you know when you are being short-changed.

Worst experience
Actually my mum had little more high pressure so doctor told for the whole blood test and I had nearly 4 visits with doctor and I claimed all of them in 1st week of November but they are asking me the past medical history plus doctor notes plus they take almost 2 weeks to response to that email and still they are asking me more information I am really tired of calling again

Poor service
I applied for claims nearly one month ago. But still it is in-progress status. I dont know what’s the reason. Very dissapointed. Please take necessary action to speed up this process. If not we are going to change our insurance company.

Bad customer service! Ignorance of money claim
I applied claim form for more than 2 months, they just require for further documents but do not work out to process the claim, and now no updates or confirmation made from the company, a big ignorance is what I received.

Terrible health insurance provider
I will never recommend Allianz to anyone. Bad service, terrible customer service. I submitted claims for refund and its been more than a month and I haven't received my money back. You call customer service and they can not be of any assistance to you. They keep saying we are sorry but nothing is being done. My medical bills keeps piling up and I have to put on payment plan to settle it. They just don't care. Very terrible insurance provider

Dodgy insurance - OSHC
I do not think this policy has value you pay for it at all. I have encountered so many troubles on my reimbursements during past years. Customer service is crap, they do not get back to you on time. You have to follow up several times to get the claims. Once they have paid my claim on my husband's bank account - first they said they paid, when I checked they have not paid at all, then they have paid the amount to my husband's account. I feel like I got scammed !!
Maybe four polices with you guys, when ever it's extension time all goes very quick and smoothly all payments and process happens in seconds. However, when someone claims their money back after going to doctor you guys do not replay back or do anything when it's your time to pay!!
I would never recommend your insurance to anyone, professional scammers
been waiting for nearly a month after submitting my claim.

Allianz, if you are able to view this customer review, you should promote Mr. Otto Cheung (Sales and Service Consultant - International health). He is the only person who helped me after I got hung up accidentally on another call to your customer service center. I have been using Allianz's OSHC for more than 8 years but this is my first time facing that much difficulty when filing a claim, after they have changed their system and stopped providing a physical membership card. It was very frustrating initially, but I am not going to focus on it as Otto has helped to clear them out later. I have never been that clear and aware of the services that Allianz provides, and it is my first time to feel satisfied with Allianz's OSHC services, through the help of Otto. Frankly speaking, all insurance companies provide similar core product attributes for OSHC, but it's the quality of customer service that differentiates one and another. Mr. Otto Cheung was successful in converting an angry and frustrated customer into a happy and satisfied one, with his professionalism, strong knowledge of the products & services, plus most importantly - patience and politeness. Really bad health insurance
Not good at all, I don't even recommend this bad insurance company. I only got $167 after claim $700 for medical invoice !!!!! What is that ! Also the app doesn't work well. Many clinics don't accept this insurance card !! There are many terrible things I can't explain how it is bad.

Yes they cover for pregnancy but some public hospital require upfront payment and you claim for reimbursement. The problem is claiming your medical expenses because the claims never get processed and you keep following up but they just ignore your concerns. And hospital bills are so expensive. I wish you the best of luck, shop wisely.
