It’s always so quick to get through to an actual person and they’re always very helpful, friendly and professional. Communication is great when lodging claims and turnaround is very quick. Can’t speak to value for money as I’ve been with them for years and haven’t shopped around but whenever I claim on the at healthcare providers, they always comment that it’s a good rebate. Show details

Been with QHF for over 15 years. Coverage has been great, making claims has been easy. Unfortunately premiums always go up and it is not cheap having quality health insurance, but QHF does offer a personable and well supported experience. Would recommend to friends. Show details ·  1

Dental Premier Providers shortfall – Fairly good cover provided for Top Hospital policy. I have been with this Health Insurance provider for many years, and at my age (71) it is prudent to have good cover for the unexpected. Providers'. This is a list of Dental practitioners throughout Qld who are approved by QCH, and offer the appropriate discounted rates. This is fine if one lives in an area close to one of these approved dentists. I live in Buderim, Sunshine Coast, Qld and the nearest Dental Premier Provider to me is at Landsborough, some 30 minutes travel away, on a good day with little traffic. BUPA, by comparison, have at least 5 preferred dentist in my immediate area. In short, I think its about time that QCH upgraded this service. I shall be contacting them separately about this issue.

Extras – So disappointed. Been in healthcare for over 20 years. They closed my extras, if I want to claim I have to upgrade to the new highest extras, pay more and wait 12 months!!! What a joke. It’s expensive enough as it is! Show details

Not Transparent! – When transferring to QCH from BUPA we asked questions such as if we were covered the same as our previous insurance and was assured we were. Now we discover we need to be members for three years to be covered for robotic surgery. I feel QCH has been deceitful at the very least. Currently in the process of lodging a complaint with the Health Ombudsman. Show details

Where does Qld Country Health find their staff? They actually seem to love their job so much and are happy all the time. The phone calls are answered very quickly and the staff that answer your call find the information you are wanting and you do not get palmed off between other people so it means every staff member is trained very well. I wish I could remember the name of the lady that helped me the day I spoke to QCH. She realised that I was in pain (broken shoulder) and that I was feeling very low. She showed me empathy, kindness and patience. She LISTENED and did not rush me. My complaint was noted and a solution suggested. She made a difference!! Show details ·  1

Im extremely happy with QCH. Its an expense that I can afford and wouldn't be without it!. I especially love the dentist cover and service. My teeth have never been in such good repair all because they really do care!
