Purchased a lounge late last year, and within weeks it was squeaky. I had someone check it out and was told it was normal wear and tear, that it was normal to have part of the fabric rubbing, causing the sound. It continued, so had it checked once again. Since then, the entire frame is now creaking. Ive given up trying to have it repaired. Warranty? Really?

Beware if you are considering purchasing the Julius 3-seater lounge with 2 recliners, made from 100% leather with 10 year warranty FROM AMART. Within the 1st 12 months the headrest began to show discolorations of the leather. Their technician sprayed colour back on it to disguise it. This was only a temporary fix and original problem showed… Read more

through again.1 year later, an area of the fold down middle seat became damaged. Claim was put in but denied. Apparently, the leather can be contaminated from the naturally occurring oils in the body...worse for males or if on medication. Fair Trading was involved as well as a claim to NCAT (Tribunal). Finally, a full refund was obtained. In all correspondence with Amart, they kept saying I was a VALUED CUSTOMER....I certainly didn't feel VALUED!

Damaged Glacial Buffet delivered – I ordered a $650.00 Glacial Buffet on 27 June 2023 and had to pay a extra $99 delivery fee when it arrived at store as item weight was around 70kg, ( I am elderly pensioner with disabilities) item when it finally arrived I opened it to find that the item couldn't be put together the Buffet as it had major damage to the Top, Bottom, Drawers and so… Read more

on. Rang store and was told to supply photos in a email and they would look at and get back to me. I rang again the next day and had to wait for another to be ordered , only that was damaged as well, so ordered a 3rd one only that one came in damaged also. Told store I wanted a full refund after all the item delivered was not able to be used, in other words "No Fit For Purpose" , well after 2months I was told I could have a refund for item but not for the delivery cost.... what a joke honestly i paid for a delivery of $99 and end up out of pocket of $99 and nothing to show for it at all. What a scam where the customer is the loser by buying from them. If after buying furniture for 4 rooms in my new this is how Rutherford Amart treat customers, then be very careful if you use their delivery service. After all the goods delivered were completely damaged inside the unopen boxes.

Worst purchase ever!! – The lounge we sat on in store was very soft and comfortable. The lounge we received is filled with different material. It is hard, slopes downward when you sit on it. It is not comfortable and hurts my back. We were told it would soften over time and yet it hasn’t. Just feel deceived and ripped off. I wont be buying from amart again! Show details
