We buy a leather lounge from a mart two years ago and we purchased the leather care as well.
Leather start to peel off I ring the leather Doctor they said that is not their problem and they told to contact the Amart.
We contact the Amart and the person come and check the lounge he told us it can’t be fixed. After a week I get a call from Amart they said it is a general wear and tear.
No one wants to fix the problem but they want money to cover.
Damaged stock and misleading sales
I bought the Sven 7 piece dining suite which I loved the look of, however, when it was delivered the table top was damaged, one chair was completely snapped in half and 2 chairs had faulty parts. They were replaced within a week but it was disappointing and an inconvenience.
Further, when I purchased the setting, the sale campaign finished on 10 Jan 2017 and I was mislead by sales staff who convinced me to put a deposit on the suite before that date as it would increase in price after that date. Not only was that a lie, as it remained the sam...
3rd time and I'm still NOT HAPPY
I purchased the "Seattle" lounge from Amart 12 months ago. The first lounge that had shown up was filthy and had marks on it when it was unboxed, I called the store, they organised to send me out another one, which when it came, was broken... I called the manager of the store at the time and he said he was going to contact the guy who does the repairs.. I never heard anything back. I went back 6 months later to buy a bed.. and I mentioned to them that I had tried to contact them and wanted to know if someone was coming to look. They eventually...sent someone out after the girl who had served me that day was disgustingly rude to me and questioned why I didn't follow it up sooner, which I had and I hadn't heard back, and we all have lives and families and we get busy. By the time the man came to look at it he went back and amart just decided to replace the lounge for a 3rd time... by the time the lounge had been organised to be delivered, I was in the middle of moving. So the new lounge remained in the boxes it came in and put in storage for 3 weeks while I waited to get into my new house. When I finally opened the boxes, I found that this lounge also has problems it squeaks, it's got marks on it aswell. And quite frankly I have just had enough.
Worst experience ever!
Brought the Ice King Bedroom Tallboy Suite alongside the lowline dresser separately. I picked up the goods flat packed, spent hours putting them together to realise that it wasn't at all white,'it was in fact creme in colour. I called the store & they checked every other box to finally realise it was a manufacturing problem. I then had to take floor stock and wait for the lowline dresser as they had none in stock. Got 3 calls over 3 days to tell me it was in and needed to be swapped over. Delivery truck turns up today and guess what, it's blood...y creme again! I have spent hours putting these together, I told them to double check the product before sending it to me, are they blind????? I am now currently waiting for a call off NSW Regional Head Office as Superamart told me they could give me $150 credit and keep the damaged goods, if I wanted that I wouldn't have asked for a replacement in the first place being that it is only 2 weeks old! Very very unhappy with service, communication & also the fact that the display product in store is not at all the same as what you get! I have spent $1348.00 to be responded with we can give you a $150 credit, not good workmanship at all! -purchased at Super Amart Glendale
Worst package ever!
I am so disgusted in the poor quality products from super amart. I brought the summit 11 piece package, the furniture came all flat packed and was so hard to put together. That wasn't even the start of it, the quality is so so bad I can't even sit a TV on the entertainment unit. The dining room chairs are so flimsy, I would never ever buy from Superamart again! I also purchased the Monroe king bed set, the mattress was delivered 3 months after I had purchased the set & it only lasted 6 months before I had to pay the tip to get rid of it. Absolutely disgusted!
1 of our Kinross recliner has no support in the lower part of the back they have sent a leather man to fix it twice and it is no better although he said it was. Also this is the chair that we put in a report about one of the delivery men just rolled the chair off the back of the truck and rolled the box along the road up the path into our house. Had a call this morning 1/10/15 and a sales lady she said according to the leather doctor (the engineer) the chair is okay just don't sit in it all day which WE DO NOT
I purchased a recliner lounge suite and paid $100 for the delivery. When they delivered it I was told they don't remove from boxes nor take away the boxes. I didn't have anyone here to help get the 3 seater through the door so I feel lucky they at lease did that otherwise my lounge suite would've been left on my back deck. For $100 the service is appalling. Never have I had to remove such an item from the boxes then try & get rid of all the boxes.
Forty Winks also have contractors deliver & they remove all boxes for half the price $50 the same...
Glass Bar Table shatters
Glass top shatters spontaneously. Told glass top does not form part of the structure and therefore is not covered by the warranty. How on earth does it not form part of the structure...without the glass, it renders it useless and therefore would not be sold as a 'table'. My understanding of the definition of a table is that it has a flat structured top to enable eating, writing, working etc.... My glass shattered for no reason, obviously a fault in the manufacturing process. Place of purchase should be responsbile for its replacement or a refund should b e offered. Will never shop here again. Its cheap overseas rubbish with a warranty worth peanuts.
Absolute nightmare dealing with super amart wish i never walked into their store
Spent $4700 on furniture at the warnersbay store, i got the first delivery and out of 6 items 3 were terrible tall boy was broken entertainment unit had a paint run in it and the buffet had the wrong pieces, was not happy wanted a refund the assistant manager tried to help out by giving me a discount, promise to check the new tall boy, remove all the boxes and built the rest of my furniture so i said ok.
First the tallboy came with the lounge i ordered it wasn't opened and checked scratches all over it they didn't remove the boxes.
Not very happy
Purchased bunk beds 2 weeks ago. I was told it would take a week and a half. Rang store after a week and a half staff then told me it would be there in 4 days. Then rang today staff told me half of my order is there but the other half wouldn't fit on truck. And didnt know when other half would arrive. How much room does a small box take up on a truck? Still waiting! Will never go there again!
