nightmare. Emails are ignored, no one follows up, and there is no sense of urgency or accountability. Now I’m being told some items won’t even arrive until April, which is completely unacceptable. Once Amart has your money, communication and service seem to disappear. Extremely frustrating experience and definitely not a company I would trust or recommend.
Follow-up · Things just keep getting worse. No communication, they promise things and then just never deliver on them, then wont contact you back. Still on going dramas with them. Wish I never purchased from them

the cleaning kit. I told the manager that I was not impressed with the sales tactic, but as I liked the sofa I proceeded to go ahead. When I got home, I checked the receipt and they had tacked on the price of delivery, also instead of $1300 they had put $1400 thus making the cost $200 more than I agreed to. I do not believe that was an accident. I rang and demanded the receipt to be adjusted to the price I had agreed, but they made out the sofa was $1399 not $1300, but they took off the delivery fee, so it was still $99 more than I agreed to. I had agreed to wait for 7-8 weeks but had agreed with the Manager at the time of purchase that if it was significantly delayed I would need a refund, he said yes and nodded. On the receipt it says 8-9 weeks, but in the fine print it said up to 10 weeks. 4 days after 10 wks I sent an email asking where my delivery was at. Then I called into the store later that day. He said he got the email and he had replied. I had checked my email before I walked into the store and there was no reply and there has not been a reply in the 2 weeks since then. He told me when I went in, it had been shipped and was on the water as we speak, but I had not received any email telling me it had been shipped and the expected day of arrival. After all the other deceptions, I expect that line was yet another one. I am sick and need to lay down in front of the tv, I've been having to lay on the floor. I badly needed the sofa. I was never prepared to wait for 3 months minimum. Today I have requested a chargeback from my bank and fingers crossed I get it. I will never ever set foot in an Amart store again and I wish I had read all their horrible reviews before I purchased there. UPDATE: Thankfully, I got the chargeback approved, now to find another sofa elsewhere.
Warranty is a lie and your sofa won't last a year! – Don't buy anything from Amart or trust their warranty! Our sofa purchased in December started fraying at the seam and Amart refused our warranty claim because we took longer than 2 weeks to advise them!! That's $2087 down the drain as we need to purchase a new sofa now! Quality guarantee is a joke, can't believe the couch didn't even last a year! Show details

been paying for a lounge for 5 months that we don’t have. Delivery company damaged our home upon one of the exchanges and aren’t being cooperative to repair the damages - 6 month old home. I’ve chased Amart this whole time to get no where and be ignored then told my emails had started being deleted! Offered $300 compensation for a nightmare 5 months. Amart have not been compassionate, considerate or helpful throughout this ordeal! Will never shop at Amart again! Disgusting. Still have a damaged lounge and still have a damaged house. Amarts communication is very poor!
