not liable. I found out later they sent me an email telling me this but I never received it. I have been given the contact number for the people who, supposedly are liable, still NOT GOOD ENOUGH! Will not be shopping there again.

decided to withdraw my claim, I was expecting someone to reach out to me and solve the issue, but I don’t think they care about the warranty that should be cover for 10 years the customers. It’s sad because I always been spending money into their business but I guess me, my family’s and friends will take spend the money where the customers are looked after always. This review is not towards the people who work everyday in store, but the warranty service which is from orthokinetic and I think they didn’t bother to let them know that my claim was unsuccessful.

felt bullied, the second time they labelled the items and they labelled them wrong, but I was told this common sense you can look at it and assemble it. They customer service hang the call on my ear. So disappointing I wouldn’t recommend to anyone, back and forward only for one study table. Review your products before your put them on the market.
Zero star. Don't waste your money on the guarantee or warranty; they don't provide any real assistance. They simply send someone to look at the furniture, make a report, and then do nothing. In addition, I bought furniture for my entire house and even purchased an extra cover for all my items. I've spent a lot of money on these guarantees and warranties, and this is the first time they’ve acknowledged my complaint, yet they are still taking no action.
I would never recommend anyone to purchase from them or buy a warranty or guarantee.

Mornington outdoor setting- don’t buy, internal lining disintegrates, terrible customer care regarding faulty product – Purchased the Mornington outdoor lounge setting. cushions to break apart and others to loose their shape and has left white flakey “snow” everywhere. Emailed the company direct as this issue occurred within the warranty timeframe only to be told-
“Please note the white flaky covering is a bio degradable slip that's only purpose is to allow the foam to go into the cushion cover easily in the production process, its have no effect on your cushions or foam as it is not a structural or needed piece”
After questioning this in a further email, I was told that the outdoor setting is for “spot cleaning only” however all cushions have zips. If this outdoor setting is “for spot cleaning only” why are there zips on every cushion? Are you really expected to spot cleaning only an outdoor setting which is exposed to the elements/ dust/ dirt even when undercover??!
I couldn’t fault the in store service of this company and this is by no means a negative review about the store, however the “customer care team” have been nothing short of appalling to deal with.
When you are spending $3000 on a product you do not expect this and then to be brushed off with what pears to be a major fault in the product so quickly was extremely disappointing. Will not shop here again.
Awesome huge couch – The guy who sold me the couch was very efficient he showed me everything it had to offer and I didn't feel pressured. The delivery guys callan and jaryd were fantastic not only did they assemble the couch with few hurdles in the way but they also helped me move other furniture around too. Show details
Warranty not honoured, cheap and nasty products – Over 6 years have spent over 16K in furniture with this business. Each and every item has had faults, fallen apart and had to be repaired. are nearing moving to our new home and the prospect of buying at Amart will never again be a viable option. Extremely disappointing that we are being blamed for defects in poorly manufactured items.

sought of made up for not getting served straight away, then I go to pay for it then told it wasn’t any out the back and it would only take 1 - 2 days to be delivered as it’s only coming from Tarneit store this was on a Friday and by Wednesday no couch, Friday came still no couch so I rang on the following Friday and they told me it won’t be in until next Friday or the following Tuesday, I’m not happy I’ll never shop there again all I wanted was honesty like fantastic furniture told me when I bought a bed 2 to 4 weeks and got it 4 days later, anyway getting back to Amart, there service is crap no one knows anything when they are asked a question and they lie to make a sale, first time customer and it will be the last time

the chairs, but under their instruction they asked me to send 8 photos showing the problem. They then said they had chairs in the warehouse which would take 3-5 days and would deliver and take back the other chairs. We heard nothing over the next week. A week later we drop into Amart Waurn Ponds to be told that because of Covid19 they could not collect faulty goods (so beware there is no sort of warranty!), there was no action taken on what they had promised and no attempt to contact us to tell us they would not be upholding their end of the bargain. [name removed] instore, realised that the warehouse had screwed up but could only go so far as to give us a number so that we could PAY to fix it ourselves. So if you want to be messed around, lied to and then pay for anything that is wrong with your new furniture this is the place to go.
