Terrible – Purchased products and paid $20 delivery as per their website. It took two weeks for them to process the order and then they emailed me saying their delivery price is incorrect and I would need to pay an additional $40. I refused and said they need to honour the advertised price. They cancelled my order and I'm still waiting on my money to be refunded. Terrible service. Show details

Nice design and comfortable! – My butterfly Sofa has been going 1 year strong and still looks pretty much new. I use it for Indoors in winter, and for outdoor chill when it's nice. Not fit for purpose – Not fit for purpose. Incredibly poor return policy. A very, very bad experience with a company that's just not that bothered. If you buy a 4 seat sofa/lounger, you expect it to function as a 4 seat sofa/lounger as that's what it is pretending to be, but these ones won't. off the ground within 3-4 months. The company website seems to think it will take a year, but their special pellets don't last long. The company knows it's a problem and asks you to accept it as normal, even giving you some top up pellets when this happens for the first time, but it will happen again and again over the life of your couch/lounger as you will most likely be using it every day. This will cost you £42 per bag, and the 4 seater will use that up in one top up, which you will probably need to do 3 times a year. Misleading? I think so. Expensive and unreasonable upkeep? I think so. The company will say it is to be expected as it's "soft furniture" and not a couch/sofa at all, even though it is designed to do the same job. It does not, not even close. I thought when I bought this, their specially formulated filler was different than regular old foam pellets, and it would work. I was wrong. There are 2 comfort modes; super firm when new/freshly topped up and floppy, sitting near the floor, difficult to stand up, needing to kick and fluff it back up EVERY SINGLE TIME you go to sit on it, after 3-4 months. The return policy. You have 2 weeks and it must not be used. That's tricky when it's a 4 seat sofa/lounger. How is 2 weeks, unused going to tell you how bad the filling is or how it will perform 3 months from then? If I was using it outside of it's intended purpose, I would understand a reluctance to refund, but it does not do what it is designed to do. It is not fit for purpose! Consumer Protection and Trades Description will also be hearing from me as I feel they are getting this wrong. The customer service team will write you nice, reasonably toned emails BTW, but at the end of the day, you were a fool to have bought a product so unfit for its intended purpose and you should have realized this as soon as it arrived at your door, certainly before the plastic wrap came off.

CHEW RESISTANT LOL – Poor quality, 6 month old cavalier had a hole in it in less than 10 minutes. The filling is millions of the tiniest polystyrene beads, impossible to clean up and very dangerous for dogs to swallow. Customer service is demeaning, unhelpful and rude. Show details

A total disaster and misrepresentation – I ordered one of the Bean bags and the whole story was a disaster. The tiny beans are like Quinoa and the instructions to fill the bag do not make sense. a ridiculous photo which did not help. Out of frustration, i tipped the beans into the bag and proceeded to then vacuum for 4 hrs and the tiny beads are still stuck in my floorboards. Also, the fabric is horrible. Customer service was patronising and unhelpful.

Dog Beds that are made to last! – I purchased my dog his very first Ambient Lounge dog bed last January 2022 and it did not disappoint. He's been using it for almost a year now and it's very sturdy and easy to clean. We also love that the top covers are interchangeable depending on the weather. We have the Large-sized one and he fits in real nice. We're planning to order another one soon when we adopt a new dog in the summer. Excellent quality! Show details

Best products and customer service ever! – After reading all the reviews on these products from Ambient Lounge I decided to order two of their Butterfly Sofas and a big dog bed for my Rotty. The communication and service from the people I spoke to in their team was outstanding. The products arrived fast and the sofas look stunning on my balcony. Not impressed – Dog bed arrived today, fully filled. I ordered the bed and filling system as seperate components, and the website clearly states this, so I expected to be able to use their fabulous unique filling system. Poor communication and wrong product sent – Took 2 weeks to arrive and no tracking number given. I think the business is a sham – I ordered the Acoustic sofa in keystone grey in September. After processing the order and telling me it was packed to be delivered it magically no longer was available. After a refund, I reordered when it was back in stock last week, and once again it’s on some sort of back order. It didn’t say this on the website. Luscious Grey Evolution Sofa – Don't like the material or the color. The Grey appears a little brown against my other grey furniture. The material doesn't feel premium, to me. Sent this one back. The Sunbrella fabrics are much nicer, though more expensive. Show details

sat the indoor units outside under cover for a day and the smell dissipated quickly.

They aren't perfect. The Mod 6 was overfilled in some sections and under-filled in others and zipping the individual sections together is a challenging experience, especially with the child-proof zips but we persevered and adjusted the filling in them all until we had it right.

The outdoor setting which we use in the Family Room is impervious to spills, cleans easily and can be moved outside when we want to.

In our experience, it's wise to have a spare bag of beads on hand as they do settle after awhile and need to be topped up but that's only during the initial few weeks of use as they've been fine since. Also, instead of trying to persevere with the clip on zip attachment, simply use an old fork as it's much less frustrating.

Overall, we are pleased. We've found the support from them to be outstanding and all four of our orders have been delivered promptly. At the price they represent good value as long as you have a bit of patience rather than expecting out of the box perfection.

Update: April 2021: We had one replaced under warranty after the front seam split and the others have all required bean top-ups along the way as they compress after being used for awhile.

Terrible chemical smell – Received our order of the prefill Mod 6 Sofa and was excited to use it. However there is a very strong petro-chemical smell coming from the product. The smell fills entire house and gives me a headache. I've contacted customer support to arrange a return/refund and will update this review based on their response. Show details

Terrible synthetic smell....very difficult returns experience – The chemical smell of this product makes it impossible to relax in. The smell fills the room. The returns procedure was not as they had described by phone before the product arrived. Incorrect information had been provided, and the customer service representatives did not seem to know how to perform returns. The return was not easy and took weeks (and no, the smell didn't dissipate in this time). Show details
