Poor customer service, Ripped day one – I bought two pairs of the high rise thongs, the first one I put on broke immediately. The others have been fine so I guess it was a one off. However I have not heard back from customer service about the break.
Cost cutting – Always have been happy with 'ambra killer figure' pantyhose X-TALL until now, lately I have notice a reduction of 25mm from the waist to the thigh and length of leg, it's obviously to do with cutting cost, I will now buy a different brand.
Disappointed buying second pair – I bought two pair of Amber-bikini panties in Melbourne 2 weeks ago. They were divine. Like a second skin. Came home and wanted to order two more pair. I couldn’t find them so purchased boys leg panties. I’ve purchased boys legs in other brands and have been perfect. So sorry but I was bitterly disappointed in these Ambra boy leg. Not a bit comfortable, no where near a good fit like the bikini ones . Show details
Bare Essentials Recycled Nylon Moulded Wirefree Bra - Comfortable/Straps are Short – A very comfortable and well made soft bra. As a bra it's excellent, and looks great under t-shirts. Problem is the straps are far too short to cross over (so your straps don't show under tanks) and they cut into your shoulders - badly. I measured the size 12 straps against a 14 and a 16 and all are the same length - so no point exchanging for a… Read more
larger size. So I'm stuck with a couple of comfy, nice looking bras - no loss really, I'll just have to let my straps show...
regret the purchase – claimed the underwears are seamless which was the reason I bought two sets, but none of them is seamless, customer service replied it is impossible to make it seamless!!! and no refund or exchange also no retail store can not try it!!! Show details
Go to the stores and try something on instead of buying this product – I thought, ok I will invest in some expensive bras and undies, so ordered the soft touch triangle bralette and bondi bare high cut underwear. Well, the undies ride straight up your bum and your breasts fall out of the triangle cups. I bought this underwear to lounge around at home in and to wander out to the garden to water. I might as well be not wearing any underwear. Absolutely nonfunctional. I don't recommend these products to anyone. Show details
Wish i had read reviews before buying so many pairs – I liked the look of them online, and ended up buying a fair few. Sizing is not consistent. Im a ladies size 10. Some fit well, some I can hardly get on. And they all ride continuously up my butt. I spend so much time pulling them out. The ones that fit feel nice on. Except for the constant wedgies. For the price. I wouldn't recommend. Show details
Sizing is Terrible – Sizing is so wrong. Ordered size 14-16 and it's like a 10-12. And can't return any of it. Very disappointing. Show details
Bogus return policy – I purchased 2 bodysuits size 10-12 only to find out that the cups are very small for that size although the body suit is quite long. I know my size and never had problems with Mayer, or David Jones or Target brands for that matter. So I looked at the return policy and realised that the company under various excuses doesn't accept returns and… Read more
doesn't give refund for underwear. So I have lost money although I ordered the size that is correct everywhere else but not with Ambra. Do I have to mention that I would never shop with them again and will actively discourage my friends to make the same mistake.
Shapewear – I had an issue with Ambra shapewear riding down my pantihose when worn over the top. I contacted customer service and after having a good laugh at my experience....Lisa responded with replacement garments suitable to wear over the top of pantihose. Very grateful for the friendliness during this transaction. Thank you very much.

appalling quality – I purchased 2 pairs of Ambra boy leg underpants on 11/05/21 I washed them in a lingerie bag on the hand wash cycle of my washing machine prior to wearing. I was shocked when I hung them on the line as the legs had unravelled. Show details
Very bad quality – I bought women fleece tight from David John. Only wear several times. It have a big hole now on tight .Super bad quality , How can sell in David John ? I am writing here to help other people not waste of money for poor quality product . Show details
Cheaply made shape wear undergarment falling apart after 2 wears – Shape wear under garment, Worn only twice with correct sizing. Followed the washing instructions, dried on the clothesline. The seam has come away from both areas sitting on the hip line as well as the seam along the groin line. Wont be purchasing another pair in this brand. Very cheaply made. Show details

Sizing is all off and awful customer service – I bought a pair of thick ambra tights, consulted the size guide on the back and being 79kg and 175cm tall, opted for the XTALL which I was certainly within the margins for (since XTALL apparently serves up to 90kg and 198cm). The tights were so darn small they only half made it over my butt and when I tried to move or bend down, they snapped and… Read more
rolled all the way to my knees! There was no way in the world these tights would fit me enough to wear. I emailed customer service and explained my situation and asked if the tights had the wrong sizing on them or what was going on and their response literally just said to consult the size chart in future before I make a purchase if I was unsure of my size... What a waste of $20
Give this brand a miss – I bought a pair of fancy patterned opaque tights for winter and after the first wear my toes started to go through the pattern because the toe of the tights are not reinforced. Second wear and they are all laddered on the toe, useless now and they were not cheap tights. I bought more opaque tights to go to Alaska on holiday not realising i had… Read more
bought the same brand until i saw the little pink label inside. Sure enough the seams ripped first wear.
So never again, this brand name is tatooed inside my eye lids ;-)
The most wonderful pants (knickers) I have ever worn! – I am always on the hunt for well fitting pants, especially around the tail section, that don't ride up or create the dreaded wedgey!! These are IT! Perfect fit, no VPL (visible pant line) or anything untoward. I'm in love with them, so much so I bought them for my mum who has always had the same complaint & she loves them too.
wrong size – I bought a couple of ambra seamless bras from trixanbody.com as I have the smallest breasts am size 6 only 40 kg looking at the size chart I thought size 8 A would be perfect .man was I wrong it was so tight on me I couldn't breath and so I returned them and exchange for the next size got them about a week after and size 10 were no different to… Read more
the size 8 I first ordered. Never buying these bras again as the sizing is just ridiculous! looks nice sizing
Ambra size chart incorrect, however, got replacement product – I bought 2 pairs of Ambra 20 denier sheer tights for work before summer started in early December as I still like to wear a sheer tight even when it's hot in the office, as often the air conditioning means it's quite cool inside. The next day when I got up to shower and try a pair of tights on, I couldn't even get them to my crotch, and they… Read more
split. I was most upset as I had no stocking s for work in summer. I had the 2nd pair but didn't want to chance splitting them too, so I decided not to open them up.
I found that the size chart was incorrect as I am 166cms tall, and a size 7- 8, with tiny legs, and according to size chart, was an Average or Medium. It didn't make any sense.
I went onto the Ambra website and filled out the contact form, and was soon after contacted by one of their customer service people.
They said to send the product to them to see for fault and so they could review the items and then send me replacement product.
I sent them up about a week before Christmas 2011, but apparently they never received them, which is very frustrating. (there has been issues with Aus Post recently but why anyone would want to steal a pir of split stockings, I am not sure?).
Anyhow, it was a busy period and so there were delays, people go on leave at this time of year and offices close, etc, but I did just receive my replacement stockings.
I am yet to try them, but will on Monday morning when I go to work again, so hopefully they will fit! Great customer service from Ambra to fix this issue Stockings too small and incorrect size chart??
Tights falling apart-worst customer service!! – Purchased a pair of tights which fell apart after wearing 3-4 times. Emailed customer service-no response after 1 week. They also don't provide a contact phone number on their website for a quick answer. Tights Terrible customer service-no phone number, no reponse
Bad – They make some really pretty cotton bras and underwear. I like the fact that all the ones I have seen are cotton and not lacey, so its nice to wear when you dont necessarily want to wear something lacey. Overall, a good brand which can expand a little more in choices and styles and sizes too. They have some really pretty and comfortable underwear… Read more
for women. They are made of cotton and even in the stores, they look and feel very soft and comfortable. Are limited to styles and it would be nice if they had some larger sizes as well (just large as the other companies go, which isnt asking for too much).
