instore - as i live in NZ and they were bought on holiday i explained this was not possible, they said they couldn't help, i offered to post the backs, they said no, i sent photos - still couldn't help. I was told to "buy some new ones in NZ" (white gold) i was then told that consumer rights and laws do not apply when taken out of the country - i asked them to direct me to the page on their website that states this, they said they do not have to specify consumer laws on their website, i then sent them the link showing this to be untrue. I have received a link for a review (laughable) so they have obviously closed the complaint. worst customer service i have ever received

 Follow-up  · Follow up, Despite challenging the store they have continued to ignore are n and just ghost me. I haven't sourced other backs as yet. Initial response was they would more than likely be replaced in store if I was to fly to aus with them.

to their official retailer. The only reason I can see is that the watches they sold are not brand new and they couldn't find the original box. This should be the last time I bought anything from this store. Stay away from them as you can't assure that they selling you the genuine and brand new product!

to purchase, the webform seized every time I filled it in and couldn't be used. With time being a factor (birthday approaching) I ordered the earrings which proved to be way unsuitable and needed to be returned. I wanted to arrange an exchange for another pair to get matters going as quickly as possible for the disappointed recipient. But yet again the webform didn't work and when I emailed the email address on the returns form, it immediately bounced back to me as undeliverable. The items should have been sufficiently detailed in the first place; had they been I would have known immediately they were unsuitable. It's difficult to understand how A & C aren't aware their webform doesn't work and how they can send out return forms with every order listing an incorrect email address. It's spoiled the experience.

told there are quite a few claws either broken or damaged other than the ones that are missing on the missing two diamonds. To do all of these would be a very large job and may not completely remedy the problem in the future as it appears to be unusual how or why they have come off.

If the ring is relatively new (in the last 2 years) I would suggest it could be worth investigating taking it back to the shop where it was purchased to have them check it thoroughly and possibly assist you in the repairs on the ring.

If there is an underlying problem with the gold (possibly porosity) then just retipping the existing claws is only a very temporary fix and more stones will come out in the future.

I would never recommended Angus & Coote to anyone.
