Necklace broke after 5 wks

Necklace broke after 5wks. Store took 3wks to repair. Wouldn't give me a copy of the repair receipt upon collection. Poor manners, poor quality jewellery. Avoid. Show details

Product Quality - Main Diamond fell out

My sister has a beautiful engagement ring from A & C, worn for 1 year and the large centre diamond fell out while cleaning (thank heaven) getting ready for the wedding in a weeks time and now no ring for the big day. Out of warranty and not sure what it will cost now to fix. Ridiculous that this should happen.
Poor craftsmanship and not a cheap ring to buy.

Well looked after

Impressed with the level of customer service in the store at Cairns Central. I bought a ring for the first time and I had issues with the correct sizing as I've never worn a ring before. Theresa has been understanding and accommodating. Happy customer :) Show details

Poor customer service

I was at the Miranda store wanted to buy a diamond cross and white gold chain
It was 2.30 in the morning on the Monday before Easter
There was 3 lady’s chatting a long
They where not interested to help me
When I asked one lady as to what I was looking for her answer was sorry we don’t have any
It was a simple question
A white gold diamond cross and chain in other 9 or 14 CT
She didn’t even offered to show me anything else
She continue they conversation
I left and gone to Goldmark and purchased the Diamond-cross and chain $590
That is money they lost

Ticket price $189 but when paying it is $249 buy or i have to put item back

Went in on 23/03/2024. Ticket price for the pendant as per in the showcase was $189 or $ 199. When about to pay was told straight away it is $249 so if you dont wanna go with it i would have to put the pendant back in the showcase. Waste of time. Show details

Poor design Dimond fell out

Purchased a ring 3 years ago and the main Dimond has fallen out. I took to another jeweller and they said it was a faulty design and the fact that you only get 12 month warranty on a 4K ring is terrible. I won’t be purchasing another ring from a chain store ever again.

I'm not recommending you too anyone

Horrible experience. Got a watch bought for my birthday, little did I know it came out the box faulty with a broken seal so it condensated and built up liquid behind the glass. Took it back for Repairs, all good waited for a few weeks, only for it to come back in worse condition then when I took it into them. They may have fixed the seal but it honestly looks like someone has accidentally hit the front of the watch with an engraver or something.

Thanks for selling me a broken item, then again, thank you for vandalising my Birthday present my sister gave me. Never again will I shop with you guys. Show details

Karen at West Lakes was amazing…

Thank you so much to the lovely staff at Angus and Coote West Lake's store in South Australia. In particular Karen who was patient and thorough with the whole process. I bought a beautiful white gold ring and have been getting loads of compliments. Karen explained the aftercare plan for my ring which was appreciated and I took the 3-year option for regular cleaning and any other things that might need doing such as resizing, rhodium coating or replacing claws. I’ll definitely be recommending this store and staff member to all my friends and family. Thank you Karen your company is lucky to have you as an employee, very friendly service….. Show details

A&C have joined the mediocre

I’m nearly 80 years old and have always gone to either Angus & Coote or Prouds. Today I travelled to Angus &Coote in Westfield Chatswood. The heat and humidity were making me feel very unwell and I asked if I could sit in a chair. No they didn’t have a chair. I then asked if I could have my mother’s diamond ring resized. No they don’t resize rings unless you are buying it from them. I then asked if I could have it valued. No they don’t do valuations and went into an explanation I could not understand due to the language barrier. Angus & Coote appears to have turned into a just a shopfront for mass produced poor quality goods. Nothing like the lovely jewellers of time gone by. Waste of time. I’ll never go back. Angus&coote care plan, very disappointing!

I purchased a lifetime care plan for a diamond ring from angus&coote, over 10 years ago. Tried to get it cleaned and coated after 8years and was told that the care plan is inactive. Apparently the lifetime care plan doesn't exist anymore. Staff in store tried to contact management, but after at least 30min weren't successful and advised me to come back on Monday. As I am working, I don't have time to go to the store before 3pm (management located in the eastern states) and I couldn't find an email address online either. Very disappointing!

Terrible customer service at Knox store

My husband bought me a $500 chain that was impossible to close. Even the Knox store manager could not close this expensive belcher chain. She tried to sell me another chain valued at $1200. All I wanted was a parrot clasp or a larger ring to close the chain. Disgusting service, no compassion or understanding. I will never visit this store again.
We then went to Chirnside Park and received excellent service, they replaced the ring on the clasp with a larger one.
It's very sad that we had to travel 30 minutes to get excellent service. Show details

I visited the Greenhills Store, Wednesday 10th January, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting & being helped by Deena…I really have to congratulate you on your choice of employing this beautiful woman!!! She went above & beyond for me being a customer, I was totally lost for words with her professionalism & obvious love of her job ….not only was I thrilled with the chain I purchased..it was her attitude & commitment to making sure that I as a customer was beyond satisfied!!! Sadly this doesn’t happen too often with so many retailers …please accept my compliments on employing her & 10/10 on a scale!!! It makes me smile just thinking of the effort she put in to make sure my purchase was everything & more…Well done Show details

Has anyone purchased the lifetime care plan previously and now not allowed to Use this plan when it gets to 10 years?
I purchased a bridal set in November 2012 and have been told that as of November 2022 it’s no longer valid - i paid for lifetime , not a 10 year plan . I understand they know longer offer lifetime but surely they need to honour those who purchased lifetime .
I have used the service 6 times in 9.5 years so it’s not like I have even had my moneys worth to be fair .
