Anticol Lozenges X 10 Questions & Answers
VerifiedMy question is, will the Allens Anticol product bring back the yellow/orange flavour? I simply ask as most people like the variety but if they had to choose, it would NOT be the green.
Cheers Matt
Hi Matt, we're constantly looking to understand what our consumers want and love, so we will be sure to share your feedback with our development team.

Hi there. I think you may have meant to post a review, but your comment has been posted in the questions section.
Hi there, we haven't made any recent changes to our Anticol original flavour, which come only in a green color with a red center. We'll let the team know you'd like to see an orange flavor added to the pack, and if you have any further questions, just give us a call on 1800 025 361, quoting your case number 29948084.
Old mate was right! There were random orange lozenges scattered through every single pack of Anticol. 1 or 2. Never more than 2. It was a surprising and refreshingly tasty treat that would always lift my spirt during the cold and flu season. I don’t know where Nestle is getting their information from but there were orange Anticol. Bring back the orange!!!
Really good to clear sinuses. Only problem I have is that if they aren’t eaten within a couple of days they seem to sweat and go soft and sticky. Why
Hi Brian, thanks for leaving a review. When exposed to moisture in the air, our lozenges may become sticky over time. We recommend storing in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight, to ensure your lozenges remain in the best condition.
Are anticol lozenges gluten-free
Hi, Are Anticol throats soft lozenges gluten free?
Sorry they are not gluten free but fishermens friend lozenges are
Nothing on the packet mentioned gluten free.
I have used them for 40yrs,
never liked the green ones,
now I dont buy them anymore,
they just gradually fazed the other two flavors out,
they were the best, cant understand why,
dam shame because they really do work,
why are they all green now?

Hello customer. Firstly we'd like to say that we appreciate your ongoing business and enjoyment of our product range. Your feedback is important to help us move forward and we always take this into account. I am afraid to say, the different flavours were only colour variations. Our flavour was the same across all these variations. It goes to show that the preferred aesthetics of something can cast a real impression, especially when we're younger. The removal of the other colour variations was in order to save on production costs so that we could continue to provide you with the high quality products you've come to love, at a great price. - Nestle Customer Service
Sorry, but I reject your reply to my question, after 40 years, I think I know the difference between sweet and sour, the green ones were sour, the yellow and orange ones were sweet, I have often put them in my mouth without looking at them,
and always spit the green ones out,
why would I do that if they all tasted the same,
if they had just made them all yellow or orange,
we would not be having this conversation
there was definitely a difference.
