appointments, birthday reminders, notepad, Google, maps and streaming music.The brightness of this phone is second to none and can be controlled very easily. I purchased a cover so as to protect mainly the screen, even though the durability of the phone is superb. I have installed numerous apps with no issues of functionality and they open immediately, unlike it's predecessor. The purchase price was an absolute no brainer, so I just had to get it as I had been searching for some short time. I am seriously considering getting another one to replace mine which is a 12 months old OPPO android phone which will be passed down to one of my kids. I suggest you get one before they run out.

functions like setting a timer for cooking or an alarm clock for early morning rising, easy to do. The "Siri" function also allows me to send text messages via voice from the lock screen or telephone someone without searching their name. The voice recognition has come along way since I discovered the software "Dragon naturally speaking" (which I had to laboriously train to build accuracy), Apple seems to have their finger on the pulse in regards to voice commands as I have not really seen many mistakes made by the function during use as compared to my partners Android phone (Samsung Galaxy). The voice function on the keypad screen is very accurate (to a point) and displays pretty much what I say without having to edit it constantly.

In all, I am very happy with this phone but not sure if I will upgrade to the iPhone X just yet as the differences, to me, are minimal. I am not a great photographer nor do I make a lot of videos or spend hours on social media via my phone, to me it's still a phone but then I guess it depends on what decade you are born in. Compared to my first phone, which was almost the size of a brick and I had to carry 2 spare batteries to make it through an 8-hour shift at work and didn't send SMS, it's a giant leap forward.

it would freeze and the right side of my screen wouldn't respond to touch and then correct itself after a few seconds. Initially I had thought it was a ios issue so I did a restore which helped speed up the phone but the unresponsive screen would still happen often, I took it to the apple store and the did some diagnostics and confirmed it was the screen issue and actually gave me a whole new iPhone 6 with another 12 month warranty.

So far it has been 8 months and runs perfect and I haven't had any of the above issues so I would assume they had worked out the bugs and issues that were apparent with the earlier models.

Apple has provided seamless support and have kept me a happy customer!

Had it for a while, decent – Got this back since it first came out. To be honest its quite good and lasted me for a while. Runs decently fast and easy main menu screen concept to use. But the glass and back panel gets dirty too often. Show details

Nice and easy – Less than a year old, the touch screen keeps jamming and playing up, touch sign-in doesn't work, crashes constantly, overheats quickly, battery runs out within an hour of being on it, melt's down and starts opening random apps and crashing. My Phone for latest 8 years, biggest piece of junk. Not impressed given it's pretty much brand new and hardly used.

An ok Phone – Its an ok phone if you dont want to upgrade to the current/later models. Rather this than the 6s plus were I had issues with the screen when had it fixed. The battery can go fairly quickly when using certain app's like Instagram or TicTok. Show details

IPhone 6 blackout emails – I purchased my iPhone 6 from big w and it didn't even last for 3 months. It had never ever been dropped or anything but the emails were black. You couldn't view them. Still one of the best iPhones – Although the 6 is discontinued, one can still buy them new, refurbished & 2nd hand. who’s still using it. Battery life still good. (Lasts a full day still) Now on my 2nd 6S ‘new’ one. Lovely large screen for my failing eyesight! Keyboard a descent finger size too! Picture quality as good as any other phone.

Don’t buy apple phones – Very weak casing and poor warranty backup from Telstra. Tried to have mine repaired under warranty from Telstra shop, but because it had a small crack in the screen from poor design of the casing, ended up walking away. Will never purchase an iPhone again. Show details

This newly released iphone 6 32GB variant seems to be better than the original iphone 6 – Now with the performance optimized iOS 12 this iphone 6 32GB variant seems to run fairly smoothly. The camera seems to have been improved since the original iphone 6 as it seems to take clearer photos with much better colour balance. the camera processing software or if they couldn't source the original iSight camera for this re-release and instead installed a newer, better one. The screen is second to none, especially when compared with the Samsung Galaxy S5, S6 and S7 which are all very difficult to read in direct sunlight. Battery life too is very good compared with Samsung S6/S7. Overall a big improvment on the original iphone 6 - 16GB version. Highly recommended if you can get one cheap.
