Great little pocket size with most of the latest tools – Apps run extremely smoothly. Love the fingerprint passcode, The strength, durability and brightness of display is perfect, Love the little size. Love the massive space of 128 in such a small phone. My old phone only had 16 and I couldn't do updates as insufficient space. Only drawback is people think I haven't got the latest phone because it looks the same as the old one.  Show details

I really love this phone but I've never had so much trouble with touches being recognised – Great phone, an iPhone 6s in sheep's clothing. Really happy with it except for the edges of the screen don't seem to register touches so well. It could partly be the edge of my case but sometimes I find even the main screen doesn't register a touch so it can be frustrating at times. Otherwise love the compact form.  Show details

Probably won't buy an iphone again – Honestly this isnt a review of just the SE, but every apple iphone I have owned seem to have similar issues. Though i like the small size and the sleek design, the actual tech just isnt great. Phone performs great for the first few months then performance just dramatically decreases over time. Average – The iPhone SE is great is has all the basic functions and can call, text, email etc. however I am constantly running out space, and some times it just shuts down or cuts out. limitations imposed by the manufacturer, and software manufacturers in general. Limitations which will be, no doubt, for our own safety....

I have used this model (not the same phone) for around 10 years on and off, and have been impressed by its quality. Beautiful looking device, nice and small, and this particular 128GB version has hardly had a hiccup in terms of hardware/software functionality for the four or so years I've had it. I should probably be taking away stars - but I'm so impressed by the quality of this device I'm not going to. And although I see it as an outstanding example of high build quality, nice design and great reliability, slowly more and more apps/software services are requiring higher OS versions than the highest version allowed to be installed on this phone. Then again if reducing the number of apps you have/use is a good thing, which in many cases it could be thought to be, this might be a gift in disguise.

So its 10 stars for the phone itself and minus 5 for such a speedy, reliable, great looking & feeling item with many years of life left, being intentionally phased out of existence.

Don't be unimpressed. Its small but powerful – Yes the iPhone SE is small and that's part of its beauty....in the era of huge smartphones this little beauty fits comfortably in the pocket. I use it as a tracker whilst jogging and you hardly know it's there. It just as powerful as it's larger iPhone siblings but tiny. purchase of the first one. When I contacted Apple I had to take it in for inspection which presumably would have involved a repair charge so, after watching some YouTube videos of the repair, I thought I would try to replace it myself which was a big mistake. I really liked the smaller 4 inch screen form factor of the 5S plus I already had a Mophie battery case for it. The obvious replacement choice was the iPhone SE which has the same form factor with the updated features found in the iPhone 6s. I bought the iPhone SE outright from Apple who delivered it the day after I ordered it and it has performed perfectly. It is obviously very similar to the 5S and I haven’t yet made great use of its upgraded camera because I don’t do much photography but it’s good to know it’s there. I only hope the battery does not swell up again on this phone but at least it is under warranty. I recommend taking out Apple Protection.

The only option – - Powerful phone, runs really smoothly. - Amazing battery life, and I am a heavy user. - Still has a headphone jack. Thank goodness, as the sound quality of bluetooth headphones is still not good enough for discerning listeners (iPhone does not support APT-X). - Easy to use one handed. - Great camera, even in low light. - Cheap as chips at the moment! Great Phone – If you are like me and dislike the trend of each year the screen size gets bigger. The SE is a very good phone. If you like iOS then this a great phone. It is very quick and fast, the screen is nice and vibrant, small so is easy to use and can fit in any pocket. Headphone jack is present and the battery is good. Small and smart device. Battery lasts more than other mobile phones – I did a comparison between other Apple phones and for sure the SE is the one who holds the battery up and running for the longer time than the iPhone 6, 7 and 8. Very good – It’s really good one. Storage is not an issue at all. Having excellent back camera and front camera. Videos also coming in HD quality! I didn’t find any issues during last one year. Not bad – If 5 inch phones are too big for your hand then this is the perfect one for you. It has quite a good camera, quite happy with the speed as well, there's no slowdowns even with the latest firmware. Not bad but sick of having to update – I enjoy the iphone 7 and typically feel that apple create beneficial and great products. I do think though it is frustrating having to consistently update my phone just to have the latest technology and always being prompted to update. Maps can be a little hard to use on a small screen - the directions can take up almost all of it while the actual map is just a tiny sliver.

If you want a phone with a smaller screen, this is a fantastic option.

Pretty happy so far – I decided to upgrade my 5c only due to lack of storage space so I purchased the se 128gb on a plan. I’m happy with it so far. I find it very similar to the 5c. I’ve had one issue when recording video though. The microphone kept cutting out during filming but it seemed to be a bug that I was able to fix, rather than a broken microphone so that was ok.  Show details
