Causes constipation – Unfortunately caused constipation, clay like stool my baby was fussy, more crying. It was hard to see when he was in pain. He ate it a box, but the last 3 days was a nightmare, he just cried when tried to pass the poop. Show details

Had to change to this almost a year ago and my son has been great on this! – I highly recommend this formula for bubs with unsettled bellies, our boy had runny poos for so long and then we got told by a doctor that he is lactose so since changing to this it’s been heaven! He is a much happier baby and loves his bottle before bed! Show details

Perfect for my baby – Before trying this one, I gave a few others a try to see how she reacted (as i was well aware from advice given to me that every child will react differently to different formulas so best thing to do is trial and error) and this is the only lactose free formula she liked instantly. For example I tried the Naan lactose free and she hated it and I… Read more
won't forget her vomit. It was so thick and goo like. After going on this formula never ever had an issue with feeding or any bad poops. Poor thing suffered from bad acid reflux and the lactose from my breast milk and normal formula I was using as well (was using Bellamy's Organic which is a great formula not right for my baby) was burning her bum because of the intolerance she had from the lactose.
After she turns 12 months, my doctor has advised she will start being weaned off lactose free and slowly introducing regular cow's milk.
Like I said every child is different so all i can say is if others haven't had a good effect on your child, it's well worth trying this one and hopefully bubs will be happy and eating well.
Totally happy with this formula, so thank you Aptamil.
Oh and also, I wasn't told by the pediatrician that with lactose free formula i but 5 tins for such a cheap price with a doctor's prescription as it's covered by Medicare until i saw my family doctor months later! And just recently was told by the chemist i can receive further discount as i am a single parent! So please first check with doctor and what you're entitled to!
Excellent product - but recent change to tin is annoying! – After a tummy bug my GP suggested a lactose free formula - to help reducce any inflamation of the digestive tract after the bug. I bought Aptamil Gold +DeLact because it was the only lactose free formula available in Coles that day. Honestly I was hesitant, especially being Gold as I'd read some gold formulations are quite difficult for little… Read more
ones initially. However, it was easy to prepare and even after a good shake the bubbles seemed to settle quickly. My little girl took the bottle immediately and after 3 weeks of goopy poops throught out the day and night, it all settled and she is now more content. I purchased a follow up tin as a 'just-in-case' and was sorry to realise the formulation has changed and so has the Tin design. WHile my little girl hasn't seemed too affected by the change in formulation, the tin design no longer has the scoop levelling rim, which is a very convenient feature and should be in all tins marketed as "Premium" or "Gold" as the Aptamil brand promotes. Apart from this little gripe I can't really fault this product.
Best formula for lactose intolerant babied – Our baby daughter switched from breast milk to formula at 3 months because my wife was not making enough milk. We tried goat milk and A2 at the beginning but she was always complaining half an hour after drinking it. Being lactose intolerant myself we thought to give it a go with lactose free formula and we noticed a big difference straight away.… Read more
No more crying or complaining, a complete different baby. Her stool also changed from watery to normal as soon as we changed. Being our first child we did not understand they were not normal before. We usually buy from Chemist Warehouse or Priceline which are the cheapest sources. Later at 12 months we started mixing the formula with half amount of normal lactose free milk such as Zymil. She would not accept Zymil milk only, maybe for the different taste. Since we changed from breast milk to formula we noticed a considerable increase in growth in the Growth+ weight chart iphone app. She went from 6.5 kg at 4 months (50% percentile) to 7.5 kg (60%) at 6 months. Breast milk is always best for brain development but this formula helped us a lot considering our situation.

Life saver – Our little man would scream around half an hour after being fed ever day. He would literally be climbing up you in pain. Nothing would calm him down. His poos were runny and mucusy. His stomach bloated and hard. After been told by many that it was probably colic and trying 4 different types of formula (including Aptamil colic and constipation) I… Read more
found a doctor that listened and did a faeces test for lactose intolerance which came back positive. We put him in Aptamil Lactose Intolerance and noticed a difference within the first 24 hours. After 6 weeks of a screaming baby we finally have a happy healthy content one. It's been an absolute lifesaver.
Great formula – My baby has had some lactose intolerance and we tried another lactose free formula which still made him scream in pain and be very windy. I was reluctant to try a different brand but I gave aptamil a go and my son loves it. No side effects from it whatsoever. Still pooping as normal. No excess wind or crying in pain. Drinking the whole bottle. The… Read more
formula is easy to prepare. It does have some bubbles but only if you over shake it. My son has now grown out of his lactose intolerance and do to the success we have had with this formula I'm going to stick to the same brand.
Life saver! – Tried a few different formulas for my son when we discovered he was lactose intolerant. Seemed he was unable to keep most down. As soon as we tried Aptamil De Lac he was instantly a different baby! Drinking his bottles, keeping them down and was so happy and content after a feed. This formula is my #1 recommendation for babies with LI! Show details

Not suitable for my newborn' s tummy – We tried this brand since our newborn needs a top up and we tried other baby formulas and werent suitable for his tummy. As soon we gave him first bottle he screamed in pain and had gas. We thought this lactose intolerant milk would be suitable but no. So we stopped. Show details
Good but very watery – 3week old, helps with his wind and bloated stomach however it is very watery and baby struggles to drink it as the flow is way to strong. I have tried three different bottles on flow 1 for new born and the formula just flows out the teat. Show details

Bad reaction to formula – Sadly my grandson had a very bad reaction to this formula. He broke out in a red dotty rash immediately on his face and back and was rushed to hospital. Not to mention his puffy eyes. Luckily his throat did not swell up. I had read previous reviews regarding this formula but we had a very serious reaction. So therefore I cannot rate this product. Fantastic formula and gentle on babies belly! – I first tried my baby on S26 Gold and baby had lots of cramping and tummy pains, and I was unsure of what the problem might of been. So I thought about trying a lactose free formula, as I am part lactose free and drank mainly Lactose free milk during my pregnancy. I googled which product to use and Aptamil Gold was one of the highest rated, and… Read more
after using it I can see why!! Like all babies when they have a sudden change, he was constipated for a couple of days, but once he got over that he was a totally baby. He started sleeping through the night, no more cramping or crying in pain, no more bloated belly. Formula is quite bubbly when prepared but doesn’t affect my baby with wind or anything. I WOULD definitely recommend this formula!

Highly recommended – Due to supply issues, my firstborn was drinking formula from 1 month old. I started him off on other non lactose free brands but found that he was getting a lot of wind. After doing my research, I put him on another lactose free brand, but still to no avail. But Aptamil DeLact was the winner. He was on it his first year before switching to Aptamil… Read more
Gold Stage 2.
I'm about to start my new 4 month old on mix feeds and this will be my formula of choice.
Easy on the tummy – My baby had bad reflux and diahorrea, we didn’t know he was lactose intolerant, we tried this formula and we could see the changes in our baby straight away- no more vomiting and no more runny watery poos and no more pain in tummy. Absolute life saver!!! He seems to like the taste and it’s easy to prepare. Show details
Great to substitute normal formula when baby has the runs – My baby had gastro and I was advised to switch to lactose free formula ASAP should this ever happen. As she was already on Aptamil, I decided to switch to Aptamil Lactose Free and it worked wonders. I stuck to lactose free for a week even though my baby's gastro got better quicker as they can still be lactose intolerant for a bit longer. Because… Read more
she was sick, she wasn't drinking as much, but what she did drink didn't make her have the runs which was great!
By far the best formula I’ve used! So gentle on tummy. Wish I knew about it earlier!!! – My daughter was prescribed at 3 months when she had a gastro virus. She adjusted so easily to it. So gentle on her tummy regular poo and not straining at all like other formulas I had tried. It’s like any other formula to prepare it’s pretty straight forward. Wish I knew about this earlier!! Life saver – After trying my baby on four different formulas with problem after problem, trapped wind, reflux, vomiting, unsettled, sore belly, constipation, you name it! I finally came to the conclusion that my bub may be lactose intolerant like myself so decided to give a lactose free formula a try, so glad my partner picked this one!! The formula my baby… Read more
was using before this had made him extremely unsettled and constipated up all night fussing and grunting tensing and arching his back like he was in extreme pain. After the first night of using this formula my baby was finally settled and no longer screaming in pain! My baby is no longer constipated and is back to being very happy and settled while he’s awake and his reflux has completely stopped. Finally after all the problems on other formulas we found the one!!! I highly recommend this formula to anyone struggling with finding the right one for a fussy baby.
Great Product – I purchased aptamil gold delact for my bub when he was a newborn as the previous formula was making him very constipated. Since changing formulas we haven’t had this issue. It is also very well priced in comparison to some of the ‘specialist’ formulas that are on the market in QLD
Perfect for bub who was vomiting alot – Thought I would give this a try for my 8 month old who has had formula topics since birth. I had previously been using Nan optipro which was great except she vomited all the time! Only little amounts and didn’t bother her at all but they were frequent enough for me to think it didn’t seem normal. Since changing to aptamil de lact the vomiting has almost completely stopped! Great price, worked for us – My son was getting really bad stomach aches from regular formula and this was suggested by my doctor. We swapped over and within 2 days the stomach has settled down. I always suspected he has dairy intolerance. He loves this formula. It is easy to mix and prepare and has worked well for us. It is reasonably priced at woolies for $19 a tin
Happy healthy baby – Easy to prepare, my son loved the taste, and it dried up his frothy gastro poos within hours. We could not have got through the first 12 months with a lactose intolerant baby without this product. I just wish it was easier to find in the shops, and its so expensive.

Good for gastro baby – This formula is easy to prepare. I brought a couple of it when my baby had gastro. Doctor asked me to try a lactose free formula as her originally formula upset her tummy too much while she had gastro. I was worried she wouldn’t like the sudden change of the formula, but she didn’t mind it at all and quite enjoyed it. And the company can give you advise on how to change back to normal formula when the baby is well again.
De-Lact saved my baby – Yes, easy to prepare and baby loves it, even though the taste is not as strong as normal formula. I bought De-lact for baby because baby poo four times a day and got watering poo later. GP asked me to stop formula, but baby was really relying on formula. Then pharmacist in Priceline told me to try this De-Lact for baby. And he loves it and stoped watering poo.
it works perfect – When my baby had a diarrhoea for a while, a friend mine recommended me to feed her with this formula and it worked perfectly! She still pooed but it was not watery at all which makes it much easier to clean up. haha My friend actually buy this one since her baby needs lacto free formula
Not for my bub – While trying several different formulas to find one that best suits the budget and more importantly my baby, this was a decent price, but gave my daughter diarrhoea and made her mood very flat and quiet. In general, using EIGHT scoops for a single feed is ridiculous - especially when doing feeds at night/very tired, too easy to loose count. I… Read more
would suggest a bigger scoop in order to achieve the same quantity with less complexity. The ledge to scrape of the excess is a good thing.

Really good for upset little tummies – We went through so many formulas trying to find one that agreed with our little ones belly and the Aptamil lactose free was the only one that didn't give him the runs and gas. It's much easier to prepare for age ranges, I found S26 lactose too small of a serve for my babies age when prepared per their instructions. Aptamil mixes easy and price wise, it isn't too bad.
Lifesaver – The Formula is straight forward to use, easy mixing ratios. Our baby has reflux and he vomits a lot. This formula was suggested by our GP and has reduced his vomitting quite a bit, he still does a little, but 1 a day is much better than 10-15 times a day. That was a nightmare. Our little fella sleeps very well after he has had it, have not… Read more
noticed any side effects from the formula. His tummy was a little upset during the change over period from the other formula, but is all normal now. I would recommend this to anyone out there with a baby that has reflux
Perfect for my baby’s tummy – We have had major issues with my 4 month old sons tummy since coming off breast milk due to medical reasons. We tried 3 other formulas first and the aptamil gold Delact has been a perfect fit for our son. High recommend it for bubs with a sensitive tummy that have possible allergies.
Prefect for my little one – I quickly discovered my little one had a slight dairy intolerance, wasn’t confirmed whether it was lactose or cows milk protein. I started he on this formula at 12 months once I had finished breastfeeding and she took to it immediately. I found the product readily available from supermarkets and chemists and it was reasonably priced in comparison to other formulas.
The only formula my toddler could keep down – The formula is easy to prepare, directions are easy but the little scoop is annoying when you need so many scoops a bottle. After trying other formals and other lactose free ones, this one was the only one my son could keep down, with out vomiting it all back up again or squirting it back out the other end! Highly recommend.
Confused – So mum. Baby loovvves this milk but it makes her constipated so we’re back on the ha hopefully she stays okay on the ha but it makes her fart so much ? Is this bad lol I’d prefer lots of tooting than hard pooping on a serious note I have tried pretty much every formula avalible my baby is pretty fussy
Our son has never been happier! – This formula helped us out so much. When we found out our son was lactose intolerant we switched to this from breastfeeding and he immediately stopped spewing. We purchased it each week for $19 He never once turned his nose up at the flavour. Which was so cheap in comparison to other formulas. I would recommend this formula 100%.
Suits lactose intolerant baby well – I have used this formula for my lactose intolerant baby since he was 4 weeks old. I managed to combine breastfeeding and formula feeding with this formula for six months, before he went completely over to formula from six months onwards. Even my breastmilk upset his tummy so I had to give my baby half a crushed lacteeze tablet before a breast feed… Read more
to ease his symptoms, but I found that when he had bottles of this formula, he never had any tummy upsets. He's never had a problem with constipation on this formula and took it straight away. It mixes well in the bottle. I purchase this formula from Chemist Warehouse, as it's the best price I can find in my area.
Life saver! – Before finding Aptamil Delact , my baby tried a couple of other formula brands and the poor thing was so miserable. All I could hear was his tiny tummy rumbling all the time with gas, poor thing. Once I switched him to Aptamil Delact as suggested by his pediatrician, wow! he became such a happy & smiley baby, no more rumbling tummy. Thanks so much Aptamil!
