Water tastes worse! – The water tastes even more like chemicals after it was filtered! Expensive product , i flushed with bi carb and flushed with liters of water after and no change to the taste.
This is perfect love it bought another one for my caravan – It is so good the water bought another one for the house have3 for the home 1for the caravan I can go to Bunnings and get filters I love the machine
Purchased in at David Jones for $199.
Don't waste money on this product – Its a worthless product and have no reliability. It takes atleast 2 hours after cleaning the unit to secure the o-ring seal , as the water leaks from the unit. We bought this from Harvey Norman a year ago for $ 200 and after a year of frustration will be throwing this unit in a garbage bin. We had to visit Harvey Norman few times to get it fixed. If you want to waste your money, then definitely go for it.
Works great – I purchased this from Bunning's approx 8 months ago, to date I have had no issues other than the electronic clock issue which turned out to be a case of bending the battery contacts a little so the battery actually made contact, this clock counts down the days to help you work out when to replace the filter and the amount of days can be varied by the user. The unit has two tanks and the upper one holds the filter which is a screw in type, it is easy to replace and replacements cost between $30 online and approx $40 in Bunning's.
The issues others have had with the lack of flow may be due to them not following the instructions which state to soak the filter for approx 20 min in water before installing ? I have replaced the filter recently and again had no issues, the filters are meant to last approx 6 months on average and after 8 I did not notice any difference in taste but replaced it as suggested. Obtaining them is not as easy as expected as I could only find them on line or at Bunning's, I could not find them in any supermarket or department store.
The chilled water is good and temp is equivalent to keeping it in a fridge, the unit is attractive, does not take up a lot of bench space and is also very quiet. The chilled water comes out slower than the ambient water but it's not really an issue, note it can only produce a certain amount of chilled water per hour (not continuous) but I haven't run out as yet (2 person household)
I did note Bunning's charged about $20 more for this unit than the Good Guys so it may pay to shop around, there is also an "upmarket" version which has a silver or platinum look to it but as the basic white looks good anyway I wouldn't pay the extra for paint.
One thing I did note when dismantling for the filter replacement was that the bottom tank had debris (possibly algae) in it so suggest cleaning out the bottom tank more often than just when replacing the filter alone. This is not debris which made it through the filter but probably the result of the water just sitting around when not in continuous use which may be the result of us not using it everyday ?
Overall it is doing the job I bought it to. Attractive, quiet, works as stated Clock / counter didn't work but not hard to fix, cost and availability of replacement filter

Still going and no issues since purchase, only issue is with the availability & price of the filters which are around $40 now, somehow I don't believe this reflects the cost of making them.
