chased the invoice number to verify that it was true with AquaQleen and they said that it was an authentic invoice number. When I entered the house, the house smells like a dog was still on the premises, I can see dog hair on the staircase and on the carpet. There was a stain on the bottom of the staircase which I thought, being that it was new carpet, the 'cleaners' would have removed this stain. The benches were wiped by with 1 wipe. No care whether the dirt was still there or not. It was just to tick a box. Bathroom still had toothpaste on the mirror, little bits of gunk on the kitchen splashback. I swear to you, the house was not cleaned. Perhaps a 5 minute rushed vacuum and single wipe policy. These guys are disgusting con-artists that have clearly over charged the previous renter with a whopping $750 end of lease clean! Holy smokes. True con-artists. Don't let them con you!!

Rude, unprofessional, ripe off. Don't use them please – Quoted $200 for an end of lease clean for apartment. The quote includes for wall mark removal, but they came and inspected, they charged extra $130 for wall mark removal. Ok I was happy to pay extra, but when they finished I check it. Dust at the corner wall still there. I did ask them to clean again, but they were really careless and didn't clean properly. I was angry and disappointed. We needed to clean again by ourselves. It was very waste of money and time.

They started about an hour and a half later than planned and there was a coffee stain on one carpet they didn't get out (but it probably needed a soak realistically). The rest was immaculate.

Do Not Use Them Please!! – [Name Removed]- the most UNPROFESSIONAL woman I have EVER dealt with. I am disgusted in what can only be described as the worst customer service ever. wipe down the timber shelves attached to the balcony wall or the external window/door frames (particularly where the wash down of the tiles had splashed). Over about 45 minutes, with a little effort and some scrubbing with some environmentally friendly, biodegradable domestic cleaning product, I have cleaned the tiles, frames and shelves.

Do not book this comapny for work – I accepted quote to have our house cleaned on the 10th. He sent another company to do it on the 8th 2 days early then the contractor looked at the house and basically said cant be done. We have a 2 story home on a tight block. The worst experience possible – The worst experience possible. The quoted $380 to clean our apartment, then turned up and demanded over $500 before starting the job. Then they didn't do a good enough job to satisfy getting our bond back and despite having paid for the guarantee they were extremely difficult and unwilling to return. Definitely avoid this company and go for someone better.

Rude Con artists – STAY AWAY. The bad reviews are an understatement. We engaged an appointment we described the rooms mentioning there are two bedrooms and a backroom. They quoted 260. THEY ARRIVED OVER AN HOUR LATER. Then requoted 420. Clearly we told them where to go. It's normal practice for these con artists.

Disappointing in almost every way – We booked this company for an end of lease cleaning as we had heard good things about them and they seemed to do everything we needed for a reasonable amount. for, despite the house only having carpet in the standard rooms (living room and bedrooms) and me giving them as-close-as-I-could details about all the rooms with carpet over the phone.

The cost was also increased due to us "suddenly" wanting the blinds in the house wiped, despite that featuring the the basic description of their bond cleaning on the website. They would not provide a comeback guarantee for the carpet unless we added on a $35 service of "treatment". Another issue we encountered in the pre-cleaning check was that they were unable to clean the inside front window because it was "too complex with too many ridges". They were also 45 minutes late to arrive.

We eventually managed to reduce the cost, but only by removing cleaning services that were clearly listed in the bond cleaning list. We should have turned them away, but at this stage we needed the cleaning done as soon as possible, so we agreed. I signed a form stating all the services to be done, and that they would not fulfil their comeback guarantee only if the carpet was the issue.

I went away to run some errands and came back at the end of the clean. I went through and everything seemed in order. I signed a form and paid them. They gave me a copy of the receipt and left. Once I got back to my car and sat down, I saw that they had added on, without my permission, a note saying they would also not come back if there was an issue with the oven.

A week later, the estate agent came back and challenged us on a few things, all of which underwent cleaning by Aquaqleen. There was also a "residue" left behind on some segments of the carpet as a factor of steam cleaning.

I contacted Aquaqleen. After four phone calls and an unfulfilled promise of a call back from a manager, I was eventually told at the end of the day that I would be contacted by the people who did the actual cleaning job. The next day, they called and we discussed the job. They were rude, impatient and adamant that they had no responsibility to come back as there was nothing in the description I gave that was their doing. They were also stating that the time limit of 7 days was up (a time limit I was uninformed about at the start of the cleaning, but is probably my fault for not looking into it properly), despite this limit having only been reached due to the run around I was given on the phone the day before.

All along the way from the pre-cleaning check to the last phone call I had the customer service has been poor. They have lied, increased the price for flimsy reasons, altered signed documentation and performed a sub-standard job. All the staff I spoke to were rude, patronising and simply wanted to fob me off.

Never Again – Booked these guys for an end of lease clean and was 'comforted' by the fact they have apparently worked with so many real estate agents for end of lease bond returns. opting to pay an extra $30 for a "deluxe steam clean". On return with my agent, the agent event said there is dirt in the carpet and it just hasn't been done properly. Dirt was still left on all skirting boards,and wipe marks everywhere. Contacted my cleaner direct who refused to come back despite their guarantee and steam clean the area which was not done properly (and only 20cmx20cm) as its his time which is costly! To top this all off, I've just noticed I've been charged twice on my credit card and now no one is returning my call. Never again!

the company that quoted me and sent him on the job. The dude has an excuse for everything you point out and is pretty much impossible to deal with. I still try to be friendly and we agree on $385, 28% increase for me.

The quality of cleaning is just OK. Of what is actually cleaned, that is, because they give you a list of things they're not going to touch. When they're done I'm trying to be positive and tell the cleaner's wife the place smells nice. When I point out dirt left in the bathroom corner, she says it wouldn't come off. I later clean it with a dry paper tissue, along with a few more things that I notice. E.g. cleaning sink drains is done by plugging them with sink stoppers. Behind the oven is not cleaned, because "they don't move things to avoid damaging them".

Then their new steam-cleaning machine breaks. Not their fault and they promptly organise another contractor to fill in. They give me back the carpet money and leave. I chat with the carpet dude and mention I was misquoted and the results are not the best either. I don't care about steam-cleaning quality because the carpet is 10 years old and I only need the receipt really. End of story.

Anyway, a couple of hours later, the first cleaner calls up and (fairly politely) tells me off for not being happy with his service and asks why I had to mention it to the carpet guy if I had told his wife that everything was perfect. I point out the things I noticed only after they left. All I get is more nonsense and excuses. We both agree next time I'm going to have to spend more or use somebody else.

Not using these guys again and wouldn't recommend.

based on a per hour rate), but when the guy and his wife rocked up they said that my kitchen drawers were “extra dirty” (they were dirty but they weren’t unreasonably so) and at the end of it I ended up paying close to $300, which was grossly much more than what was initially quoted.

We were however left stuck with no choice but to pay as we were due to handover the keys 2 days later and I wouldn’t be able to find a cleaning company at such short notice. I was also 5 months pregnant then and didn’t want any added stress. They did however do a decent job and so I let it slide.

I then made the mistake of calling them back again after I had my baby to do a regular clean of my house. When I called for a quote, he said $30 per hour and when I asked if this was for him and his wife, he said yes. However when it was time to pay, he quoted me a ridiculous amount of $90 for a 1.5 hour job. When I questioned him, he said it was $30 per hour each for him and his wife, unlike what he’d told me over the phone. He’d practically lied to me!

I never went back with them again and all I can say is that this company is a complete sham and a very dishonest cleaner. I'd have given them 0 stars if this was an option.

Worst company ever – Got the cheap deal, guy turned up then asked if I would be returning to check the carpets to which I stupidly said no and payed up front. Receive a call from my landlord stating that there had been no steam cleaning done whatsoever. I rang to complain to which the lady said I should have paid more if I had of wanted the stains out. Please learn from my mistake and do not book this company! They didn't do anything apart from park in my driveway.

Reel you in – This company was having a special, three rooms steam cleaned or $59 as long as the room is not larger than 3 x 4. When hey arrived they state they charge by the square meter after the first three rooms, and harmed $170 for the three tiny rooms remaining, definetly feel scammed by this company and would not recommend them to any one. They attended as scheduled Their pricing system is terrible.

Terrible! Stay away from AquaQleen – This company is by far the worst I have ever had to deal with. II have complained about this company to the ACCC and Fair Trading. They came to 'clean' my unit and ended up leaving it with absolutely no evidence of being cleaned. I then complained and was told by the owner that people like me always complain. Do yourself a favour and read the reviews on this site, stay away.
