Purchased around 2 years ago from Domayne. As others have mentioned, clothes are never fully dry. The top lint filter is OK, but the one on the bottom is a nightmare. It lets lint through to the condenser fins? which are near impossible to clean. It also gets condensation in there and can leak a small amount of water on to the floor. It is prone… Read more

to mould from being damp. I have had to soak the filter in bleach a few times to kill off some mould spores. I contacted their customer support and was told to follow the instructions, where i then pointed out to them that their video instruction (see screenshot) indicates that there is an additional foam filter to protect the condenser, which I never received. Ariston replied back with a parts catalogue, and no surprises that the filter doesn't exist in the catalogue. I replied and they never answered back.

This worked well for about 2 years although clothes never came out completely dry and needed to be hung out anyway. Then water started leaking in the bottom tray blocking it from being able to function. Even a small amount of leaking stopped it from turning on. Two services later it and we gave up trying to repair the leak & went in the hard rubbish. Not worth the high price tag Show details

Avoid, go with Meile! – Takes a ridiculous amount of time to dry the clothes, often having to run it on 2 cycles. Very hard to keep it clean due to poor design having 2 lint catchers. Their customer service is even worse than their dryer.

I will never buy this brand again – This dryer takes absolutely forever to dry clothes and when it's done they often aren't actually dry. I stayed in a university dorm for a month with cheap dorm dryers and they could dry a batch of clothes in 20 minutes. Why does this thing take 2 hours? And there are two lint traps, which means you have to clean it twice. Why? Show details

Ariston common water issue it seems don’t buy – Have contacted ariston Zero reply Liked online seems to be common issue Was told to turn it upside down (done this worked then same issue) Absolutely useless I have an 8kg Heat Pump purchased 11/23 It has been used approx. 15 times with both filters cleaned each time and the water collector emptied each time. Bad bad and terrible – What a absolute piece of rubbish. It never dries clothes properly. It'd noisy and useless..... Our old $300 dryer was 10 times better. The washing machine has major rust and is only 2 years old. Ariston is rubbish. Show details

Do Not Purchase – Do Not purchase. I have had it for about 10 months now and it no longer senses the wet clothes properly. It's cuts the cycle short and stops. I am continuously turning it back on because the clothes are still wet. Show details

Has various ongoing issues - do not buy! – I bought this dryer two years ago and at first I was happy with how it worked. However earlier this year, after about 14 months of use, the machine started beeping and randomly and turning on and off by itself. A service agent came and replaced the front control panel but this was not successful and the beeping started again. This time he replaced… Read more

the whole motherboard and that fixed that issue. However a few months ago water started pooling around the bottom lint filter during use. A service agent came again, cleaned it out and left, saying that if that didn't work it would have to go into the shop. The first load I tried to dry I had the same problem. They returned and took the dryer away to their workshop where they had it for SIX WEEKS! I finally got it back and now after less than a month of having it back the same drainage issue is happening. The shop I bought it from (Harvey Norman in NZ) no longer sell this brand, I'm sure it's because of the extremely bad quality. My advice is buy something else, anything else.

Awful Stench – Worst purchase ever! Clothes are left with stench even after short airing cycle. Area behind bottom filter has lint build up that you can’t access. Have contacted Ariston and have been told not a warranty issue and to use the cleaning manual, which doesn’t include how to access Show details

Excellent - very happy – I found myself having to replace my Miele dryer recently and decided to look at Heat Pump dryers and what was available. I decided on the Ariston due to the 8 * energy rating and the 5 year warranty. Im loving the dryer and its easy to use, clean out and empty the water. Show details

A first time dryer buyer! – It's been a long cold winter that's just past us in Melbourne. These days it's just me and mum. Mum has dementia and breast cancer as well as arthritis in both knees. As her sole carer and wanting to keep her at home as long as possible I knew the travails of Melbourne's fickle weather meant that I might not be able provide clean, dry laundry as… Read more

reliably as I might like. Time to get a dryer. Enter the Ariston N11HPLWAU. It's been a beauty. I can't believe I've lived without one for so long. It looks good and is a cinch to work and you can put it virtually anywhere because the moisture is collected in a tray which you just empty after each cycle. No dramas at all. It's slotted in like a quiet new member of the family.

Very Good. Very high quality dryer – I love how well this dryer drys your clothes and it is faster than drying it on the drying stand. I like how it has not one but 2 lint catchers. It is not to loud which is good to keep the house quite. In the end I think that this is a very good dryer and is very underated. Show details

The Best Dryer – I love how this heat pump dryer sucks out all of the moisture out of the clothes and collects the water in a little tank which you empty after each use. It has two lint catchers. One you empty when after each use the other when the machine tells you. It takes a little longer to dry the clothes then my old standard one but it's worth it as my laundry is never left with condensation and no need to open any windows whilst the machine is on
