On the first delivery the truck caught fire and our goods were delivered with black smoke marks all over them and smelling of smoke. and pay over $800 to get others cleaned - ART Removals promised to cover the costs of this with their insurance but they pocketed the insurance claim themselves and never paid us a penny. And it gets worse - on the second shipment (which was mysteriously delayed for a week) they left our goods out in the rain at their depot and they arrived soaked and with water damage. Also several of our other trolleys and other equipment went missing during the move, presumably stolen. We have tried to contact the company but they have ignored any attempts to resolve the issues with our deliveries and our family business has been left thousands of dollars out of pocket. broken down truck, and attempted to move my valuables from the broken down location to the agreed location. He then opened the truck where i found my valuables not secured. He told me that he had just came from another delivery and unloaded another persons load and repacked mine in. He then continued to unpack my items, where i found that some were already marked and nicked/damaged. I didnt feel comfortable with this situation overall. Furthermore, the rest of my valuables would've been made to be unattended on the side of the road whilst him and his one assistant moved the items to and from. I refused for this to happen. After an hour of me trying to express to them that i wasnt happy with this, they finally agreed to meet the next morning and he take his truck for repair over night. The next morning he opened the truck where i found my items to be not secured. My flat screen TV found face down in the truck, furniture items damaged (my desk chipped, chair seat cushion ripped, scratches on the TV's..etc). When i tried to take photos and ask about the insurance policy, he started to become argumentative and moved the items as i took photos of them. I took photo evidence of the damaged furniture. I tried to call his office base, but was met with no understanding. The person i later found out was his wife, and this was a family company. He then decided to charge me an extra $250 fee as my unit was on the next level. He and his wife knew this prior and we both agreed to this deal in prior negotiations - as the way they work is to pay all costs up front prior to the move taking place and sign a contract. But due to the argument he told me that if i didnt now pay this fee on the spot he would leave my stuff out at the front of the location for me to take up by myself. He had no care for me, my belongings or the customer experience he was giving me. I couldnt call an independent party to help me, as his office base was his own wife/partner. I therefore posted a review on this site later on, his wife then messaged me after seeing my review and threatened to sue me for defamation. I spoke to lawyer who informed me that i had a right to speak about my bad customer experience so long as it was a true reflection of my experience. I also spoke to product review customer service who agreed that i should not be made to feel threatened by the company, so long as my review is within their review post guidelines and terms policy. I believe that if they can fix the way they deal with their customers they may do better.

Amazing !!! – Art removals went above and beyond for me , truely beautiful people ! Communication was excellent and I was informed when my item was picked up , they were also good enough to take photos of the fridge I brought so I knew the condition :) When Sam dropped the fridge off to me he was nothing but lovely ! Be careful, the worst removalist experience – My family had one of the worst experience of our lives by hiring these scammers. They did not do the service and we lost our money. Got charged by company extra although shouldn’t have as if things were packed properly it wouldn’t have gone over cubic metre. Was told our stuff would stay on the same truck from pickup to delivery, but it had been moved completely onto a different truck and company even lied to the police about that. Very disappointed.
Terrible experience – This is the worst business I have ever had to deal with in my life they are rip off scammers and I would recommend you do not use them as they have charged me $6000 and I still have not received my stuff and they are trying to charge me for holding back my stuff because they said it would not fit on the truck

Very Impressed – The move - a backload from Cooma in southern NSW to Qld Sunshine Coast went smoothly, efficiently and as promised. expensive, then they will almost certainly provide superior service. Conversely, a cheaper quote implies an inferior service, which ART Removals & Storage proved to be. Ultimately, you shouldn't just concern yourself with price when it comes to moving furniture.
In summary, ART Removals & Storage were slow in responding to correspondence, added a series of costs throughout the process rather than confirm these upfront, their removalists unprofessional in appearance and approach, treated my goods with little care, arrived at my new place with a series of damaged goods and then showed very little sympathy when querying the damage and following up insurance.
Yes, ART Removals & Storage will probably be cheaper than their competitors but the inevitable damage to your goods will nullify any cost savings. The fact that their website hasn't changed in 2.5 years also speaks volumes.
Do yourself a favour and use anyone but ART Removals & Storage!

Rip off – Stay CLEAR I should of listen to the reviews. Paid a deposit $170 we never ever settled on a date I said I would like 4th April she never confirmed it was only back load. I didn't need the service anymore and she refused to refund me nothing not even half so I paid for nothing and got nothing ever disappointing.
Glad I chose this removal service – I was skeptical of hiring these guys at first because of some of the reviews but I'm glad I did. Irini was very reassuring and friendly on the phone and was available to answer any questions I had throughout the process of my move interstate.
