No customer service NO Parts! – Have emailed three times no reply and gave them longer than 48 hour response time! No spare parts listed. No service people either. Don’t waste money buy from place walk into if have problems

Does what its designed to do – Received my bike on Tuesday and did a 60km round trip to work the very next day. If you're used to travel on a road or racing bike as I am you'll be dissapointed with the speed. Unfortunately there no one to blame for this as the bike does exactly what is advertised. Great customer service – I bought my eblike 12 months ago, and it was delivered to my place on time, with no additionnal charge. Great communication too: any email was replied too within hours. Good buy! – My last bike was a folding electric bike with small wheels and no gears. So heavy and so hard to ride without power because of hub drive and no gearing. motor on the wheel. So I ordered one, from the Aseako website (though they were the same price on Ebay).

My order was placed by email on a Saturday evening, and the bike arrived on Monday afternoon! I can't get letters delivered that quickly! Assembly was easy (put the front wheel on a spindle, insert the spindle into the front fork, and put the handlebars in place with the provided allen key - easier than an Ikea project!).

After charging the battery, I rode it to work the next day. Perfect. Fun, handles like an ordinary, albeit a bit heavier than ordinary, but not a problem, bike. I bought the disk brake option as an extra. The bike is heavy, and needs a bit of stopping on a hill. I regard that as $129 well spent.

I live at the top of a steep hill 1kilometer long. Pedalling up that hill on my non-electric bike is not on. I walk. Pedalling the Aseako is easy. It climbs that hill at about 15 to 20 kph, without raising a sweat, but still pedalling, that is, not using the throttle and letting the bike do it all (though you could).

It is well built, solid, well equipped (though the front light, whilst OK on a streetlit road, could be a bit brighter, and the very bright red rear light has no flashing option. But you can add to these, and I have.) The service when you ask questions is instant and helpful, and when I did need a part (a second charger, so I can have one at each end of my regular trip), it arrived the next day also. I wish my office was that efficient.

I enjoy the fun of riding (in nice weather) and not paying for parking. The bike is well made, and reliable. I get 30 to 40 kilometers per charge, and the commute takes me 25 minutes, as opposed to 12 in the car, but then I have to park and walk...) The suppliers are helpful and reliable, and the price is better than reasonable. My research shows that the Aseako is pretty much the same (give or take a few bells and whistles, like mudguards or lights) as a Tonaro Bighit or a Gette, or (in the US), a BMartin. And the price of all of these brands exceeds that of the Aseako. What's not to like?

(BTW, I am a public servant - not a corporate shill or a troll, which seems to be the usual accusation you get on some other sites if you pose a positive review. Reliable, value for money, fun, prompt responses from supplier Seat could be more comfy (a lot, actually!), lights not as I woud like them

on head wind in one direction of 10klms. I gave up in the end as a bike ride became too hard and no longer enjoyable.

After trawling the internet and reading up about e-bikes, the decision was made that the Aseako E-Bike was the best value, had the best equipment and was the best looking bike on the planet. (Image is very important!!). Buying a conversion kit for my standard Mountain Bike was not worth the cost or bother.

So along comes one absolutely stunning Aseako Moto within 48 hours and WOW, what can I say, but more WOW’s. The sensation of the Pedelec System and Central Drive is unreal. I cannot compare this to a Hub System as I have never tried one, but all I can say the Aseako is absolutely brilliant and I wouldn't want anything else.

A couple of seconds and I felt this unique umph. Like WOW!.....It is indescribable and after a test wizz around the local park, it was down to the Broad-water. The wind that day was virtually gale force. One could barely walk let-alone try and ride a pushy, yet here I was having a ball and peddling through the wind. I came back feeling energised and fantastic. I had a work out, but I didn’t have to kill my-self in the process. I also went up a rather enormous hill only Tour de France riders could tackle, and the Aseako got me up there without a problem. WOW again!.

So the moral of my story is I cannot make excuses anymore to ride my bike as I have my robust Aseako to get me through the winds and up the hills with ease and this older chick is having a ball getting some overdue exercise and fun riding a bike again along with receiving amazing comments from friends and strangers such as “great looking bike” “wow where did you get that”.

What can I say, of course it is a great looking bike and it also works fantastic too!

Furthermore, the team at Aseako are seriously fantastic. Shaun, Harry and the team are absolute champions in helping out with any queries etc. It is reassuring knowing those at the helm of Aseako are genuine people ready to help at any time.

Therefore whether you want an e-bike to get to work to avoid traffic, fuel and parking costs, or for exercise and/or a trip to the local shops…..The Aseako e-bike is the answer!

Expect to get plenty of lookers and ensure you triple lock it up if you are leaving it in a bike bay. I take a Siren Alarm Padlock with me when I know I am going to the shops. I adore it to bits and no one else is having my Aseako Moto e-bike even though it is insured!

Get one...they are "BRILLIANT" and the greatest bikes on the Planet!

Am so glad we bought the Aseako. Would recommend it to my friends, and have. Reasonably priced. Chance to test ride. Distance between seat and pedals a bit of a stretch if you are short in stature.

extra cost. The unique frame structure looks and feels solid. The crank motor is powerful for its motor wattage. Love the pedal assist system but not impressed with the throttle only speed. Service provided by seller was excellent with prompt responses to my numerous questions prior to buying the bike and in dealing with a couple of initial problems I had with the bike. The NuVinci gearing system makes riding a pleasure as it provides completely seamless gear changes. Had some initial problems with the gearing system but was resolved by the seller. Seller should test the bikes before sending them to buyers.

90kg and put in some token peddaling and don't ride on hills and I get at least 36km to a charge.

- You can leave it in top gear all the time,

- The motor and all the cabling all sit nicely and the bike has a nice finished look to it.

- Customer service is excellent, Shaun from Aseako has been really helpful post sales.

- It is pretty easy to asemble, but the instruction manual is pretty rubbish.

- The front light is incorporated into the power management system and has a red light in the bike On/Off button reminding you that you have left the front light one.

Cons

- Heavy and clunky. It would be nice if they kept the motor and frame and improved some of the componentry.

- Max speed is realistically 35km/h, You sit on about 28km/h on just the throttle, if you pedal you can get up to 32-35km/h but it is pretty hard to get past that and I don't think the motor helps you when your legs are spinning that fast. It could do with bigger gears, then the torque motor on flat ground could really get you going.

- The power management controller seems a bit cheap and flimsy,

- The rear light is not incorporated into the power management system, so you need AA's, but it is LED so I do not think you would need to change them often.

- I think in the long run with sustained use this bike would wear out fairly quickly.

So all in all, I would definitely recommend this bike, I just thought I would point out its bad points to you. Inexpensive, good look Cheap components

product discription was just incredible but I must admit, I was a little nervous to see what my bike would be like.

When the bike arrived I was gobsmacked at what an amazing quality product I was sent! I felt ridiculous for asking for a discount in the first place! This bike was a steal and arrived within 2 days of being shipped!!! I live in a Regional area of NSW and this just never happens! Im so happy with my bike, and with how lovely the service was.

electric bike, I researched a lot and found nothing like this other than double price rebranded identical bike. Excellent business to deal with and very fast responses to email.

I am a perfectionist and these people pay attention to detail everything looks overbuilt and even the tools they supply are very good.

Very easy to assemble if you have done any maintenance on a bike before, if not maybe get someone to help but its not hard.

I was looking for a mobility scooter but that is very limiting. This feels like a real bike only somewhat heavier but this is not an issue as the assist means I can go up steep hills faster than family members even with only a small amount of assist.

Being a Electronics Technician I like the way they have put the package together and build quality of the electrical and wire routing is very good.

The final comment is there is someone to contact by email and you get fast response. I also like the fact they have very reasonable priced replacement parts.

Don't bother getting a cheap hub drive bike, this is the future and 200W is better than a 500W Hub drive, you save batteries and you can use what ever level of assist you need.

Don't worry about support you get better support from them than many local bike shops. I do though support local stores if they can provide good service even paying a bit more but not double or not having no better or sometimes less service.

I could say more but this is a 10/10 product. Built well, Works very well, Very efficient use of battery with gears, gears work well Need a little practice when just starting and going slow if you have the assist on, recommend to newbies to start with assist off for the first few seconds as can accelerate more than expected if you are in a confined area. Mudguard needs to fit better but still good.

pretty rough treatment and stands up to the dirt track i ride on. i am also near the beach and the salt air hasn't affected it yet (6 months on). The motor, battery and all the essentials were already fitted and ready to go. You can take out the battery and charge it if you wish or charge it on the bike. The parts all seem good quality. I checked out a lot of electric bikes before buying this one and made a false start with a cheap but nasty fold up electric bike with an SLA battery. It was only capable of about 10k an hour and had total range of about 5k. It also had a hub motor. There is a vast difference between a bike with a hub motor and the Aseako. The latter has a central motor with a chain going to the bike's Shimano gear system so that you can use the gears as you would on a car or motor bike. This gives you a lot more torque and speed for the same size motor. The Aseako cruises up hills without draining the battery (my old hub driven bike crawled up even slight hills with the power draining away). The Aseako seems to cruise on around 28ks an hour in top gear and a bit more if you pedal as well. The main advantage to me is that the motor is more or less silent. The bike I had with the hub motor sounded like an angry tram and the sound became annoying after a while. You can just cruise along silently on the Aseako and enjoy the ride. I suspect you can get about 40k between recharges or longer if you do some pedalling. Its good looking too and I keep getting asked where I got it from. I strongly recommend getting a bike with a central drive system like this one rather than a hub motor. Aseako is a very good buy. Fast, good torque, you can use the motor with the bike's gears, comfortable seat, lithium battery. Looks great. Women like it. The minimum seat height is a bit high but not a problem if you have long legs. A bit heavy but all e-bikes are because of the battery and the motor. Goes like the wind anyway.

Back to the experience with the bike : A pleasure to ride, feels strong, great gear range and what i was quite surprised with was what that the double rim wheels already had the option for adding disk brakes (which i will be very soon (not that the v brakes are any good quite the opposite).

I have seen other brands that are selling for almost 2k and wonder how long these businesses can keep ripping people off, The ASEAKO bike is very well priced and the same quality.

this is a bike i will be recommending to my friends and anyone who asks. looks great, strong frame, motor design looks excellent and the power suprised me for 200 watts, Option to add mechanical disk brakes,very quite compared to other ebikes i have tested, i ride quite a bit around Botany and the bike has taken all hills with ease . a little inefficient, especially on down-hill stops. I have replaced the brake blocks with a different brand and now have no problems. There is also the option of changing to disc brakes.

I had a battery problem (it basically died suddenly) but Aseako responded to my e-mail within an hour or so and despatched a new one same day. It arrived in Adelaide from Brisbane within 4 working days and they also arranged for the pick-up of my old one. I can't fault their customer service.

The major electrical components are very reasonably priced.

I would recommend this bike to anyone considering buying an electric bike. Inexpensive, looks good, great to ride, great customer service Needs better brakes; no water bottle or pump attachment points

live with it. The rear battery can act a bit like a pendulum when cranking up hills, a bottle style seat post mounted may have been better. I deleted the poxy looking bits like the stand, mudguards, lights & fluro "moto" stickers it now looks Ok. Also fitted disk brakes and a decent seat post , next will be the forks which aren't that great when pushed off road.
