Does what its designed to do
Received my bike on Tuesday and did a 60km round trip to work the very next day.
If you're used to travel on a road or racing bike as I am you'll be dissapointed with the speed. Unfortunately there no one to blame for this as the bike does exactly what is advertised. If you need speed I would recommend a 500W unit.
Good handling over bumps, good energy savings if you don't mind travelling slower than the racing bikes around you.
Very hard work trying to keep up with the racing bikes
Great customer service
I bought my eblike 12 months ago, and it was delivered to my place on time, with no additionnal charge.
Great communication too: any email was replied too within hours.
I use it to go to work every day, it looks good, and despite of its weight the ebike can help you a lot
even going up hill without sweating, which is remarkable in queensland.
great customer service
My last bike was a folding electric bike with small wheels and no gears. So heavy and so hard to ride without power because of hub drive and no gearing. Our 2 new Aseako bikes have arrived and been riden on flat paths and up steep hill. Marvelous! We went to Maroochydore to test ride them first and to check out the agent. So impressed we went home and ordered 2, the Alto and Sports.
Well geared for hills. Can easily ride for exercise without power.
Very Positive Experience
I had an electric bike before this, so I knew what I was looking for. Mainly lighter weight, and not-hub drive. And nice looks, with value for money. So I looked around, and found the Aseako bikes.
I was impressed with the pedelec system working through the chain to give more torque, as opposed to the weight distribution anomoly of a hub motor on the wheel. So I ordered one, from the Aseako website (though they were the same price on Ebay).
My order was placed by email on a Saturday evening, and the bike arrived on Monday afternoon! ...I can't get letters delivered that quickly! Assembly was easy (put the front wheel on a spindle, insert the spindle into the front fork, and put the handlebars in place with the provided allen key - easier than an Ikea project!). After charging the battery, I rode it to work the next day. Perfect. Fun, handles like an ordinary, albeit a bit heavier than ordinary, but not a problem, bike. I bought the disk brake option as an extra. The bike is heavy, and needs a bit of stopping on a hill. I regard that as $129 well spent. I live at the top of a steep hill 1kilometer long. Pedalling up that hill on my non-electric bike is not on. I walk. Pedalling the Aseako is easy. It climbs that hill at about 15 to 20 kph, without raising a sweat, but still pedalling, that is, not using the throttle and letting the bike do it all (though you could).
The greatest bike on the Planet
Ever since a friend told me about an electric conversion kit he had fitted to his standard bike, and how he rides to work from the Mt Gravatt to Brisbane City through wind and up hills with ease, I wanted an “electric bike”.
The route I take is not to work, but just for exercise and fresh air along a Broadwater and 99% of the time it is a full on head wind in one direction of 10klms. I gave up in the end as a bike ride became too hard and no longer enjoyable.
After trawling the internet and reading up about e-bikes, the decision was mad...e that the Aseako E-Bike was the best value, had the best equipment and was the best looking bike on the planet. (Image is very important!!). Buying a conversion kit for my standard Mountain Bike was not worth the cost or bother. So along comes one absolutely stunning Aseako Moto within 48 hours and WOW, what can I say, but more WOW’s. The sensation of the Pedelec System and Central Drive is unreal. I cannot compare this to a Hub System as I have never tried one, but all I can say the Aseako is absolutely brilliant and I wouldn't want anything else. A couple of seconds and I felt this unique umph. Like WOW!.....It is indescribable and after a test wizz around the local park, it was down to the Broad-water. The wind that day was virtually gale force. One could barely walk let-alone try and ride a pushy, yet here I was having a ball and peddling through the wind. I came back feeling energised and fantastic. I had a work out, but I didn’t have to kill my-self in the process. I also went up a rather enormous hill only Tour de France riders could tackle, and the Aseako got me up there without a problem. WOW again!.
The best purchase I have ever made
This is my first eletric bike, so do not have the experience of trying another. This is such a great looking bike and I receive comments all the time about how it does not look like an eletric bike. It has made the ride from my property (dirt road uphill) to the bitumin so easy, I would not go back to an unpowered bike again. I had the disc brakes fitted which I do recommend, as it is a heavy bike. I have found the battery life to be good, though I only use the electric assist for the first part of my ride.
Reliable, great communication from the company
My husband and I bought an Aseako a few months ago. I have had a hub type previously and think that the central drive is a much better system. Took a little getting used to, different from the hub, so much more torque, and great on hills. At first, for me being short, the distance between the seat and pedals was a bit of a stretch but am now used to it and don't notice it. I am 66 and now ride to work each day, weather permitting, takes me an hour each way, with the best workout on the way home (more hills). Am so glad we bought the Aseako. Would recommend it to my friends, and have.
Reasonably priced. Chance to test ride.
Distance between seat and pedals a bit of a stretch if you are short in stature.
Great E bike for starter or anyone
i purchased a white E bike today which is Aseako and i have found out below points
fast and efficiency
reliable battery and long lasting
99/100 and one mark to be perfect if there is pre holes for water bottle mounting bracket :)
definately recommended to anyone
Well, how can I descibe what I was told by the sales person [name removed] NOT to buy.
I questioned why it was so cheap (in comparison), and the reply;
"You may be better saving some more funds and buying a more expensive one if that will make you feel more comfortable."
Smart answers like that, with my wife and kids all saying "buy" means I won't. In addition, a test ride that was organised by the same person, was cancelled by them.
sales person has a very high opinion - but not of the bike it seems.
Great bike - upmarket version of the Aseako
I was checking out the Aseako but was drawn to its upmarket version - the Zoco. It is essentially the same as the Aseako except for better components like disc brakes, Rockshok fork and the innovative NuVinci Continuously Variable Transmission gearing system. The bike is a pleasure to ride especially with the NuVinci gearing system; well worth the extra cost. The unique frame structure looks and feels solid. The crank motor is powerful for its motor wattage. Love the pedal assist system but not impressed with the throttle only speed. Service pr...ovided by seller was excellent with prompt responses to my numerous questions prior to buying the bike and in dealing with a couple of initial problems I had with the bike. The NuVinci gearing system makes riding a pleasure as it provides completely seamless gear changes. Had some initial problems with the gearing system but was resolved by the seller. Seller should test the bikes before sending them to buyers.
Excellent value for money
I have owned an Aseako for almost two months now and I thought I should provide a frank and honest review. I must put a disclaimer on this review and state that this is the first electric bike I have owned so some of the cons I mention might be similar to all bikes.
- Cheap. the bike is definitely value for money,
- Battery. I weigh 90kg and put in some token peddaling and don't ride on hills and I get at least 36km to a charge.
- You can leave it in top gear all the time,
- The motor and all the cabling all sit nicely and th...
Amazing Service, Amazing Product!
When I spoke to [names removed]l, I found they were prompt in answering my questions, honest and very thorough with their details of whatever I needed to know. At first, I wanted a discount on the bike... After [name removed] explained that their small business struggles to maintain such a low price as it is, I purchased the bike anyway... The product discription was just incredible but I must admit, I was a little nervous to see what my bike would be like.
When the bike arrived I was gobsmacked at what an amazing quality product I was sent...! I felt ridiculous for asking for a discount in the first place! This bike was a steal and arrived within 2 days of being shipped!!! I live in a Regional area of NSW and this just never happens! Im so happy with my bike, and with how lovely the service was. The bike was a gift for my partner and he cant get off it. He is amazed at how fast, reliable and good looking the bike is and to be honest, I barely see him anymore ;)
I can now ride with the Family - life changer
I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and I live on a hill. I have not been able to ride a bike for years as I would wear out well before the hill back home. I can now go out riding with the kids and get some sunshine and the limited exercise I can tolerate.
This was way better than expected I feel like I got more than I paid for, almost perfect electric bike, I researched a lot and found nothing like this other than double price rebranded identical bike. Excellent business to deal with and very fast responses to email.
I am a perfectionist and th...
Love the bike. everyone should have one
Great before sales advice and service. this didn't drop off after the sale either with all my queries / requests responded to straight away. product is excellent also. i have since sold my car and use the bike to get to and from work. conservatively this is a saving of $2000 a year so the bike pays itself off pretty fast. this bike gets some pretty rough treatment and stands up to the dirt track i ride on. i am also near the beach and the salt air hasn't affected it yet (6 months on).
So easy to ride and the amount of money i save is going to pay for a pretty good holiday at the end of year
The bike could be a bit lighter but all the electric bikes i tried were similar. it probably needs disc brakes also but i am told these are coming
Great bike. Love it.
I haven't been on a bike for seven years because of my Chronic Fatigue... but this little puppy pushed me a long, up some hills with next to no pedalling. Cycling was a daily part of my life before I got sick and I missed intensely.
But I'm VERY VERY VERY HAPPPPPPPY right now.
I can now go for a ride with my husband and kids, something taken from me previously. I can't wait to take this with us to the park.
Pushes up hills will very little exertion.
Very Exciting E-bike!
I have been riding my Aseako for a while now (replaced a petrol bicycle)and find this e-bike very exciting every time I ride it. I ride it to work 3 times per week, approx 17km each way and arrive to work without an ounce of sweat on my body! I have some hills around my area and the Aseako climbs these with ease, much more so than my old petrol bike. I think this is due to the design of the gearbox and motor system, but it does have good climbing power.
I was sceptical at first as the price seems to good to be true when I compare it to other...e-bikes I tested in retail stores, but I guess this is just the online world of retail taking over - low overheads means low prices? Highly recommended in every aspect. Great Price, Great service from Aseako, Very classy looking bike and very powerful
High Quality Electric Bike
Very impressed wih the uality of the Aseako Electric Bike - lots of torque which is great for uphill climbs. We spent alot of time researching our purchase and we have definately bought what we thnk s te best product in the market.
High Torque, looks Impressive, very happy and would definately recommend.
I took delivery of my Aseako electric bike 3 weeks ago and have ridden it to work at The Rocks (Sydney city) from Surry Hills every day, except for a few days of terrible Sydney weather. What a great way to get around the city, I am totally converted to riding an e-bike now!
The Aseako Electric bike is a very smart looking bike and you can tell just by looking at the bike how well it is made. I have had many people commenting on the bike and 2 people from my office have also purchased since.
Smart Looking bike, well built, great price and even better customer service - 5 stars!
Great bike and goes like the wind
I bought an Aseako electric bike online for around a $1000 recently. There are a lot of e-bikes on the market for around this price but this one is definitely value for money. It arrived by courier and I had to fit the front wheel to the forks and insert the handle bars but it wasn't hard and they provide you with the Allen keys that you need. The motor, battery and all the essentials were already fitted and ready to go. You can take out the battery and charge it if you wish or charge it on the bike. The parts all seem good quality. I chec...ked out a lot of electric bikes before buying this one and made a false start with a cheap but nasty fold up electric bike with an SLA battery. It was only capable of about 10k an hour and had total range of about 5k. It also had a hub motor. There is a vast difference between a bike with a hub motor and the Aseako. The latter has a central motor with a chain going to the bike's Shimano gear system so that you can use the gears as you would on a car or motor bike. This gives you a lot more torque and speed for the same size motor. The Aseako cruises up hills without draining the battery (my old hub driven bike crawled up even slight hills with the power draining away). The Aseako seems to cruise on around 28ks an hour in top gear and a bit more if you pedal as well. The main advantage to me is that the motor is more or less silent. The bike I had with the hub motor sounded like an angry tram and the sound became annoying after a while. You can just cruise along silently on the Aseako and enjoy the ride. I suspect you can get about 40k between recharges or longer if you do some pedalling. Its good looking too and I keep getting asked where I got it from. I strongly recommend getting a bike with a central drive system like this one rather than a hub motor. Aseako is a very good buy. Fast, good torque, you can use the motor with the bike's gears, comfortable seat, lithium battery. Looks great. Women like it. The minimum seat height is a bit high but not a problem if you have long legs. A bit heavy but all e-bikes are because of the battery and the motor. Goes like the wind anyway.
Perfect bike with a perfect company
I have worked managing a few large repair centers and i can ashore you that one of the main things that builds a business is customer service then the product.
Their service was simply the best i have dealt with on the internet and not to mention their product ..great quality.
Love the bike and most of all love that their parts for the bike (like gearbox, motor and controller) are well priced and available.
Back to the experience with the bike : A pleasure to ride, feels strong, great gear range and what i was quite surprised with was what t...
