Very disappointed. Very slow workers 2 people to carry a bedside cabinets a joke. Using sellotape to keep doors closed on expensive furniture has now left a residue on the furniture that I'm struggling to get off because if I use a solvent it will remove the paint. I had a 2bedroom townhouse and needed help moving 10kms. We had everything downstairs in garage disassembled and ready to load. Excellent service and very quick and they took lots of care packing everything perfectly in the truck so all my furniture would fit it one trip. Very competitive pricing and nice friendly guys. Terrible service, awful quality of service. They tore and dirtied a brand new mattress, tore the leather of one of our new beds, tore the fabric of another bed, left another mattress completely filthy, dented the entire door of my refrigerator, scratched the door of my dryer, and scratched the new floor of my brand new house. Extremely disappointing and stressful experience!! DAMAGED 85” TV with NO ACCOUNTABILITY! DO NOT USE!!! I booked AUS City Movers for my move on 7 January, including requesting a 10-tonne truck, however a significantly smaller truck arrived, which immediately caused delays and required repeated loading and unloading. fully listed and disclosed prior to booking, the removalists complained throughout the job about heavy and large items and even pressured me to provide extra people to help them, which is completely inappropriate for a paid removal service.
They refused to transport all of my belongings, forcing me to make multiple additional trips myself in my own vehicle just to complete the move.
Most importantly, my 85” television was damaged during the move. When I raised this (approximately 28 hours later), the company refused responsibility, relying on internal “industry standards” that were never communicated prior to booking or enforced on the day. The movers did not inspect, test, or raise any concerns about the TV before handling it.
After I formally disputed their position, my message was read and ignored, with no response provided.
Poor communication, unprofessional conduct, and refusal to take responsibility for damage caused. I would not recommend this company to anyone moving valuable or large items.

Avoid these cheaters, they took a 2hr 15min lunch break and charged me $220+ for it, intentionally working slow so they can charge more by the hour, intentionally driving slow so they can charge more, horrible, disgusting behavior, put most of the things in the garage and left without moving anything inside.

My experience with Aus City Movers was extremely disappointing. I hired movers to make what should have been a straightforward move easier, as I was moving on my own with my young child. Instead, the movers did not arrive within the agreed time slot, the move took far longer than expected, and I was later told this was because they had moved more… Read more
items than planned. However, before those items were loaded, I specifically asked whether they had time to take them and was assured that they did.
There was swearing and inappropriate language used in my home in front of my eight-year-old child, furniture was handled carelessly, some items were left outside my property, and the move was so slow that I ended up helping unload items from the truck and moving them into my home myself.
What was most upsetting was how my complaint was handled afterwards. I was even asked why I paid if I was unhappy with the service. The answer is simple: by that stage it was around 7pm, I was alone with my child, and I wanted the movers out of my home so we could finally settle in for the evening.
Many of my concerns were dismissed or not properly addressed, and the only resolution offered was a $50 voucher towards a future move. Based on my experience, I would not recommend aus City Movers.

They are cheats. They cheated me with my move. Left the move midway, nothing completed. They promised they will be back to assemble my beds and couches the next day. No one showed up. The lady who is the coordinator is a scam, she is after your money. She was harassing me to pay the money at end of the day. I paid them approx to $2000 altogether… Read more
for unfinished work and got scammed. I was calling the lady for hours in the morning & she won’t pick my phone. I have never experienced such cheating before. I will be reporting them to the law. Beware Aus City.

Highly unprofessional. Cancelled at the last minute due to which I had to extend my stay in the old property. They even tried to convince me to sign a declaration that damage to fragile items are my responsibility although initially they agreed that it is covered by insurance. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. YOU WILL REGRET IT.
