Been with Aussie Broadband for years now and have had no issues with the internet and also dealing with them when needed. There’s also barely any wait time on the phone and all are well spoken, most ISP’s lack this today… Overall, I would Definately reccommend Aussie Broadband to anyone. I called Aussie Broadband a few years ago to connect our Grandstream phone to our church office and one of the techs tried, but unfortunately he gave up after a short period, so we no longer could use the phone and this was very disappointing to us because the phone wasn't cheap at the time. So, instead we went out and got a sim card for an old… Read more · 1
mobile phone we had and just diverted calls to the office that way.
After nearly 2 years, I decided to call Aussie Broadband again and just see about getting another internet phone through them instead of us using a sim card anymore, but this time my experience was way different because I got a tech that was actually willing to work out the problem instead.
So, after 1 hour and 40 minutes on the phone, Terry K got the phone connected and working again!
**Aussie Broadband hire more people like Terry K because he was friendly, super helpful, and very knowledgable.
Great to talk with people who understand your requirements and are happy to help Show details · 1
Unbelievable service after Telstra. Would never go to anyone other than Aussie Show details · 1
This is the worst service I have ever experienced! Their system is terrible and I believe the owners need to pay more attention to their staff or contractors who mistreat the customers. Show details
Lost internet connectivity 26Dec 2025. It is Jan 4 and I still have no internet. I pleaded with ABB to escalate with Opticom which they advised they would, after first saying there was nothing they could do as it is a "best effort" SLA. I explained… Read more

This service is 3rd world, Lagos like.
I get it that Opticomm are responsible for Infrastructure, but ABB, failed to follow up with Opticom after I emailed ABB expining that nobody had arrived, and when requesting they follow up on my behalf.
Follow-up · Internet was restored 6 Jan. The NTD was munted. The Opticomm Technician was here 10 mins. ABB refused to compensate my family for the $60 mobile data plan upgrades we had to do in order to retain internet access. They really couldn't care less, and simply blame Opticomm and ha e no real interest in escalating on their Customers behalf.

Gary was extremely professional and patient. He kept me informed on what he was doing and after trying everything that he could think of he conversed with his level 2. It was a pleasure to have Gary assist me because he was attempting to solve the problem for quite awhile. Show details · 1
The sales guy was very helpful and as an Australian it was great to talk with an Australian. I could understand exactly what he was saying. Show details · 1
Signed up with Aussie Broadband on 21st October and ordered a Netcomm Mesh Router which arrived today (23rd Oct). Trying to get help from their customer service has been an absolute nightmare. I have called multiple times, and each time the wait times keep jumping around, from 15 minutes to 20 minutes, then back to 13, then 21 minutes again. What… Read more
kind of system is this? It’s the most bizarre and frustrating experience I have ever had trying to reach a tech support team.
If this is the kind of “support” offered right after sign-up, I can’t imagine what the future looks like. I’m cancelling while still under the 30-day period.

When moving to our Retirement Village, I tried Telstra first for NBN, but after contacting them four times, they could not get it together. They wanted all the info from scratch every time. Eventually, after 6 weeks I went to AussieBB and had NBN three days later! So Happy! At my age (85), don't ask me for photos, what type of connection, if it is value for money (how would I know?) and all the other questions. Show details · 1
Using AussieBB for work from home great customer service Aussie BB . My service is restricted by drop outs and variables speeds. The copper network needs upgrading Searl Rd area Cronulla NSW 2230. Aussie are always super helpful with tech support. Highly recommended. Show details · 1
Follow-up · The service is not running at the desired speed dropping to 60-70 mbps download at times. Dropouts cause delays in processing of work sometimes up to a minute. Where there is no network response. I find it unsatisfactory. I was with Optus for a long period without dropping out. Wish I had fibre. There seems to be no desire for it in this building.
Great service provided. Moved to a new house. Thanks for the service for last few years. Top notch. Show details · 1
There was an outage in my area due to malicious damage. Aussie worked through the night to rectify and full broadband was restored in approximately a day and a half. Staff I spoke with were polite, empathetic and professional. And without asking, I was given an account credit for the loss of the day and a half. My favourite thing about Aussie is that you quickly speak with somebody IN COUNTRY. I highly recommend Aussie Broadband. Show details · 1
Find out how Aussie Broadband NBN 100/40 (Fast Plus) compares to other Internet Service Providers
Know better, choose better.
I've been with Aussie Broadband for several months now, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the service. From the moment I signed up, the process was smooth, fast, and hassle-free. The customer support is next-level—friendly, local, and actually helpful, which is such a refreshing change from other ISPs I've dealt with in the past. The… Read more · 1
internet speeds are consistently fast and reliable, even during peak times, and the transparency they offer around network performance is something I really appreciate. It's clear they care about quality and aren't just in it for the numbers.
Also, no lock-in contracts and straightforward plans make it easy to choose what’s best for your needs without all the fine print nonsense.
Highly recommend Aussie Broadband to anyone looking for a trustworthy, high-performing ISP with top-tier customer service.
I found out recently that I could upgrade my NBN from Fibre to the Node (FTTN) to Fibre to the premises (FTTP). As I am an existing customer I rang Aussie Broadband to find out what was involved and what impact it would have on my bundled services (VOIP & Fetch TV). I also checked if my existing Aussie BB modem would work with FTTP. I was told… Read more · 2
all I would need to do was plug in my existing modem once the FTTP service was available. So I decided to go ahead.
Aussie BB made an appointment for an NBN technician to come to my property. So some 10 days after my phone call he arrived and advised of the best way to install FTTN in my house. I was reasonably happy so he went ahead. A couple of hours later it was installed and my modem was changed over from the existing FTTN connection to the new FTTP connection. And amazingly everything was working - computer on the internet, VOIP phone & Fetch TV service. No delay waiting for these to be progressively connected.
I did an initial speed test on my computer and was getting over 100 Mbps download. A far cry from my FTTN connection of 25 Mbps.
But it doesn't end there. Aussie BB have already credited me for the prepaid FTTN connection to the end of the month and then billed me at the new rate for my 100/40 service until the end of the month. Meaning I owe about $4 odd.
I can only thank Aussie BB for being so efficient. And to cap it off this morning when I did a speed test my service is now running at 300 + Mbps. Aussie Broadband really do deliver.
I have missed you Aussie Broadband and you delivered yet again. Due to wiring issues I had to give up Aussie a couple of years ago. With FTTP now in place I tried to save a few $$$ and signed up elsewhere. Within a fortnight I decided to come back to Aussie Broadband and having received the equipment yesterday. 1. 2. Service working with better speeds and better wifi coverage than other provider. The eero modem is a little gem - great choice Aussie Broadband.
My advice if you can afford the extra Aussie charges for a quality service and support, you won’t regret it.
Sorry I strayed, Aussie Broadband I won’t do it again.
