and they did in fact help and sorted out the inept couriers. Moral of the story; get decent suppliers (ie couriers can ruin your reputation). So all in all Aussie Traveler are a decent bunch

Aussie Traveller awning came fitted to our brand new caravan. It was deteriorating after only 6 months. it was 2 feet shorter than the measurement we had supplied. While waiting for them to resend the correct size we pressured a little more and they agreed to send a new spring for one side. We made another trip with our van to the repairer. Guess what - the spring was the wrong one for the awning. The awning is still of poor quality an the whole experience with the warranty department has been unacceptable.

After sales service non existent. Don't answer emails unless you send repeated requests and then when you finally get someone to email you back Aussie Traveller goes back into silent mode and you don't hear from them again. Won't purchase from them again and certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Once they have your money they are not interested in any issues you may have had. Very poor Customer Service Show details

experts at. The door now works better than it ever has. The issue was covered under warranty. The whole attitude by the Aussie Traveller team was a unbelievable pleasure.

I ordered a bunch of stuff while I was away OS but Aussies courier did not deliver it. I returned on a weekend and left the next day on my trip so I could not sort it out before I left so I was a bit annoyed and wondering what I would do. After contacting Aussie they organised my gear to be freighted to me in regional NSW - terrific effort Aussie. Great to see such good customer service. Will definitely use these folk again.

Have a Aussie Traveller awning for four years now and the stitching has perished and released the awning. The caravan spends most of the time under cover when contacted warrant department Matt just stated 12 months is all there awnings are covered. Aussie Travelers builds awnings with stitching that only last 4 years not good enough. Show details

I dont want to help you so go away – We booked to have fitted an afk to our campervan . We were given specific instruction by email to be there at 7.00 am when they opened but do not come after 9.30am we were also told where to go and someone would meet us. told we were having an aft fitted the person smugly said he knew nothing about it and did I bring the kit, too busy he said come back at 10.00 am . He obviously has issues with the sales staff which he is happy to share !!!. Despite earlier instuction do not come after 9.30 am. Returned at 10.00 am again waited but ignored by the original person who had said come back at 10.00. Eventually went to the office to seek assistance and told go back to where I had been and someone would come. Eventually a different person with a better attitide and more pleasant assisted us. Aft fitted in 20 minutes and instruction given and we left by 11.15am. I suggest the worker with the long ponytail hair receive some customer service training , based on this experience I would not recommend nor would I use their fitting service again .

Excellent customer service – I had dealings with Aussie Traveller several times. When I replaced a door lock, their technician talked me through the installation over the phone while I did it. I have damaged my awning twice. Both times the staff went out of their way to find and send the correct parts without charging for the extra transport needed to replace the wrong ones. Even when I ordered incorrectly.

Great customer service. Parts enquiry – I made contact regarding parts I needed to repair my "robot trolley" caravan mover. I was not trying to make a warranty claim and I had purchased the mover 2 hand. The service and sales staff could not have been more helpful, the part needed had been discontinued and new version with a different part number was available, they were able to locate the part and organised dispatch the same day. Unreal service. I would highly recommend this business.

2 - The so called "Labyrinth vent to prevent dust coming into vehicle" is an absolute joke. 5 minutes on an average dirt road ... open the door to a haze of red dust.

3 -The advertised "Tinted UV resistant acrylic window" scratches soooo easily. I initially thought there was a plastic film on the door for packaging purposes. But no, just a GENTLE scratch with the back of my fingernail left a permanent scratch. Even long grass brushing the door leaves permanent scratches. No problem if you do not care about the appearance of your van.

4 - My van was broken into in the main street of Yalgoo one night. I have alarm and CCTV to my phone (fortunately Telstra) and was there within 2 or 3 minutes. A decent sized screwdriver defeated the main door lock, and a quick pull had the door open in less than 30 seconds. Make your own conclusions.

I'm quite happy to be contacted. This door is JUNK. I will either heavily modify it or fabricate a complete new door myself.

We have NO SPARE parts – We Purchased an Aussie Traveller 10 litre chemical toilet which was all good until we needed a spare part.......this company simply couldn't be bothered and claimed to have no spare parts available. Just a slack can't be bothered to help attitude! Show details

was a simple address entry duplication on our part, so made the transaction so easy, including 4 PayPal instalments so not such a big dent in the account at one go.

As you can see from the photos, the windows are well packed and individually wrapped so no damage.

While shopping online with a new supplier is always worrying in this age of scammers (which we found one during this process), we are now comforted that Aussie Traveller are fair dinkum and will be shopping with confidence with them.

Highly recommend 10/10. Well done team!

Shipping what a joke – Service is disgusting and shipping is less than ordinary, I have ordered and received items from the States and China and received them in far less days than Aussie Traveller sends items from Melbourne to Sydney. Aussie Traveller DC caravan door 1750mm x 622mm – Looking to replace caravan door on A’van Aspire 555 van. Previous door very impractical split stable style door with flimsy screen door which offered no security unless door closed, leaving no ventilation. and includes an insect screen and a security mesh screen inner door. Also 3 point locking points for good security when main door is open. Installation sheets are included but between doors which they tell you not to open until installed. You can find instructions online. For those installing themselves I would suggest if you are reasonably handy and prepared to improvise somewhat it is well worth doing. I did approach caravan repair shops but received no replies. Staff were helpful and offered small discount on request. Picked up from their shop in Clontarf.

get the end fittings to work, I found that there is NO adjustment on the outer end to enable the clamp to reach the fabric of the awning. This made the AFK absolutely useless. Sent it back under warranty and it took over 6 weeks to get the funds into my account. Poor quality and Poor service.

Could not have asked for better customer service! – We purchased a front window protector for our new caravan and our only pickup option was from Victoria (no Brisbane option) when it eventually arrived via Couriers Please it had been damaged in transit. I contacted Sarah at Aussie Traveller Brisbane and within days we had a replacement unit arrive via a different courier in perfect condition. We have dealt with Aussie Traveller before and have never had any problems. Show details

I sent a request to the company but never received an answer to my request. Well now I need an awning and a few other things but I'll just shop else where, it seems there's a problem with this business giving customer satisfaction from reading other reviews .

Very unprofessional – I purchased an Telair air conditioner through Gympie Caravan and RV it wasn't working properly so I returned it. Aussie travellers refused to give me a refund. Now I'm out of pocket 3K. No one even bothered to contact me not Aussie travellers nor Gympie Caravan and RV. Bloody disgrace. Wouldn't by anything from either business again. Show details

Appalling service – Rang to order a caravan awning. Spoke three times to agent. Assured us it could be made and delivered in timeframe. No response once ordered and paid. Rang close to delivery date to follow through and awning had not even begun to be made. Agent VERY dismissive. Acquired refund. Stay away as promises made but follow through appalling. Neighbours had similar experience.
