Dissapeared once they got our money
Feeling scammed as they installed hardware but then didn't connect it and stopped communicating. Really poor. Wouldn't recommend.
terrible customer service and lead time for install
Fail to meet install dates, so far 4 weeks past contracted install date and still getting palmed off. Constant statement "Ill refer to the Install manager and call you back in 20 mins although this never occurs". Very disappointing.
Cannot comment on quality of product as cannot get to install stage.
Value obviously to good to be true. Happy to take deposit though.

Andy was very professional and arrange the installation with less than a week, the work was done professionally, really happy with the service provided, highly recommended.

Very disappointing experience
Contract signed in June and it is now almost October with no installation date and no proactive communication. Extremely disappointing experience. It seems all the company energy is focussed on getting the order, after which the customer is forgotten.

Great system, works perfect.
Andy G was good to deal with throughout the quote and before installation phase. The quote was competitive and they gave me a free upgrade of battery size. Installation was high quality and done in a timely manner. The only problem I had was when the system was being installed, I was contacted by the account manager and asked to pay an extra $700 charge above the quoted amount for installation. Apart from this, I am very happy.

I checked multiple other companies but Austra Solar gave me the best deal and the best service of them all.
Especially, Sunny Singh and his team were fantastic. Muhammad ,who installed everything efficiently and was a massive help for everything.

Below Mediocore Service
Super bad communication and service. Some guy with broken and slang language was trying to sell me cheap products for 2600. I was explaining i have a slate roof and the guy understood flate roof When I asked for a quote, I was told that I will only be getting it once deposit is paid. I was told that I will get Canadian 415 panels over the call but when i checked out the quote properly, it mentioned Canadian panels but different size and warranty. When i checked it out with the other company company I was talking to , they mentioned that they cannot do 370 panels as they were outdated and de listed. Ended up Going to Best Solar, installer who charged me heaps of money but provided all that i wanted.

Had a great experience with Andy G from Austra Solar from the time of my first inquiry to the finished install took less then 2 weeks. He gave me the best quote for a premium 10kw system compared to many other companies that I inquired with. He was no pushy salesman the decision was all mine and a good decision it was.Had our first bill come in and from $150 per month previously we got a bill for $40 and thats in winter cant wait until summers here i think i will be in credit. Many thanks to Austa solar and its team.

Questions & Answers
you installed solar on my house . I asked for the receipt and warranty ,I did not receive it ,how to connect wifi
HAS ANYONE RECEIVED A REFUND OF THE DEPOSIT? On 12/05/23 we signed the contract and paid the $200 deposit. Due to lack of communication (delayed reply to emails and phone calls) and the system not being installed over 6 weeks after the discussed target date we cancelled the order. Upon review of the contract the target date was over ten weeks which was four more than discussed.
How did you get out of the contract ?. I've been waiting since early august.
