I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for Lee Yue, my property manager at Frasers Property, who has looked after my Brisbane investment property with exceptional professionalism and dedication over the past eight years. As an overseas landlord, I relied heavily on her judgment, communication, and proactive approach, and she… Read more

consistently provided complete peace of mind. She handled every matter—big or small—with efficiency, clarity, and genuine care, always keeping me informed and offering practical, well‑considered solutions.

What truly stood out was her attention to detail and her commitment to ensuring the property remained well‑maintained and the tenants were properly supported. Even in unexpected or time‑sensitive situations, she responded promptly and coordinated everything smoothly, often going above and beyond her responsibilities.

Most recently, in the days leading up to settlement, she managed urgent arrangements such as the carpet moth treatment and repair work with remarkable efficiency, ensuring the entire process remained stress‑free for me.

I am deeply grateful for her professionalism, patience, and unwavering support throughout these eight years. Having such a trustworthy and capable property manager at Frasers Property has been one of the greatest comforts in owning a Brisbane property from overseas.

Commandable Management and Service – I'm much appreciated to service of Frasers Property. A small chip on surface of bath tub was found and reported by our tenant. As the Warranty was expired, Frasers replaced with new bath tub and paid at their own cost. Even though I haven't raised this special request. That spirit of management and responsible service is commendable and appreciated. Show details

Avoid at all costs – Please be very careful in purchasing a property through this company. Their customer service is atrocious, they try and pass the buck about any imperfections in the property and to get anything rectified takes an extremely long time that requires multiple escalations to get anything changed. Ensure everything is in writing with them as a phone… Read more

call will mean nothing and they will not refund the money that they advised you have to do to try and get anything changed ensuite sorted that has significant drainage issues. Just avoid this company, too many excuses and little or no action.

Fraser’s have misled their customers – Fraser’s represented in brochures, videos and the model for Hamilton Reach in Brisbane, that it would be a ‘low-medium density residential community’ They have done so for over 10 years. Over 600 families bought here on that belief. Now their last site, where the Sales Office is located, has had a zoning change and Frasers are planning to… Read more

totally disregard the representations they have made and build two towers of 19 & 16 storeys with almost twice the floor area the new zoning permits. Frasers aren’t being forced to exceed the height of the 10 storey building they have promised…they just want to! What a despicable example of a developer being motivated by ‘returns and profits’ at the expense of over 600 families who believed them. Just disgraceful and they must not build this huge building as the gateway to Hamilton Reach. Surely, they can still make a profit out of 10 storey building...they seem to have done so for the last 10 years!

Very disappointing delivery – Shocked at the quality of the townhouse after delivery. I reported a few defects (and these and many more were shared by other residents). - The indoor tiles were un-even resulting in sharp edges which injured members of the household - I requested at least the ones in the high traffic areas to be fixed. When i reported defects, i was told that… Read more

it won't be rectified as they are within the building standard tolerances. However they fixed my next door neighbors with no checking - so if they wanted to they could have fixed it but they probably have some "favours" system. I lodged a case with fair trading and they told them the same thing about it being within building standard but no one could explain why one house was fixed over the other and refused to answer. I will pursue the fair trading case as much as possible. - The parking garage door was very sub-standard quality to say the least! it is remote controlled but the gates never shut completely and leave a gap through which anyone off the street can enter. Many many complaints by many owners and residents Frasers refuse to do anything about it. The bike rail is near the garage door and a few bikes were stoles including mine. All I was told was to lodge a police complaint and still no action to fix the gate. Strata has no power at all against Frasers and the builders so the hefty quarterly strata we pay is of no use! - The street lights in one of the streets all stopped working for weeks and no resolution as of yet.

These are basic expectations especially affecting the security of all of us living here.

I would not be buying another property or recommending Frasers.

Decent sales and service – Bought a home in Blacktown from Frasers Property, The quality is decent and after-sales service is fair. Minor issues in the building we addressed promptly. The highlight is the community developed by them with large parks, good maintenance and lots of walking space. I also enjoy its proximity to Blacktown railway station. Show details

The most horrible quality and defects – I purchased a house in Valley Park Westmeadows. The house is full of defects major and minor on settlement. Most of them are not fixed at handover. To name a few: bent door, wobbling floor, dented garage door, cracked bench top, architraves not touching floor, paint defects everywhere, broken door lock, scratched windows, misaligned tiles,… Read more

dropping deck, roof leaking. The first three major issues I mentioned they refused to fix. The bent door they have replaced the same door three times and it is still doing the same thing, they use really cheap door that cannot stand the cold weather. This caused light leaking even when the door is shut. Imagine you're buying a brand new house without a proper door that a 50 year old house can have. The floor they said the allowance for concrete floor is 4mm that's why the floating floor on top is wobbling very badly, and they refused to pull it up and level the floor. I now have carpets to cover the area but I can still feel it. The garage door they said they cannot see the dents when looking straight in from far away and I didn't realise the issue within 3 months. Honestly I did not go out and use the garage door at all during lockdowns. The dents are really bad and big, it is about 10mm deep over 400mm area. There are two big dents. The manufacturer said it couldn't be caused by the wind. I guess it was some careless tradies van with roof-loading pipes that caused the dents all the way at the top of the panel. What I want to say is not only the materials are bad quality, the workmanship is and also the maintenance and warranty service. They don't want to fix anything at all if it costs them a bit. The minor issues they will fix for you but you are expected to cope and live with major ones. The maintenance coordinator is such a great pain to deal with. She is not nice, genuine or friendly. She just tried to say No to all your defects and repairs. She has a very poor attitude. She has not come back to paint my broken window infill. The roof structure of the house makes noises in the morning 9-11am and after 4-6pm most days. The noise is loud and about 15-30 minutes apart. This is due to the sun warming the roof. This is the first house I live in that makes noises in the roof everyday. It can be very annoying and scary. They used cheap timber and properly cheap carpenters also who don't have experience doing a proper job. I haven't reported this issue because they will just refused anyway. It's quite hopeless to be honest. Just avoid them and find a better developer. I expect to spend about 7k to fix the door, the garage door and the floor myself.

Very bad quality and delays fixing issues – BAD quality overall, leaving a bit of defect on everything (missing wall painting, blocked duct heating vent, missing sealant, missed tightening of dishwasher pipe, loose or broken GPO, etc. a lot). Some of these they fixed, some they regarded as small items and they just ignore them (I'm tired to chase them up). Worst of all is for bigger items… Read more

they have the same tactics to delay fixing. I worked with a lady called [Name Removed] from Frasers, had some issue with the rain water dropping from soffit instead of running through water pipe. I originally reported that as a water leak and so during our session she kept telling it was not a water leak despite the clear water marks on the soffit. She could not just by-pass my misuse of terminology to just acknowledge it was a defect that needed to be fixed! Before that I got a photo and also showed a video when it was raining to her, but she still requested another video when it rains next time, that's when I lost my patience. Please excuse me for the my bad temper on that day but if I didn't do that the issue wouldn't have been fixed by now. Now coming next is the squeaky floor, Jacqui and her floor laying guys agreed it was squeaky (in multiple places) but was not severe (They originally said it was not consistent but I objected and showed them it was consistent). The guy recommend if he fixed in one place, other places may get squeaky later on so let's wait for 3 months to see how it goes and contact them again. For this I'm still waiting but it raised a concern now when I got to know about their issue with my neighbour just opposite the road: it is an issue with his squeaky laminate floor and you can see a saggy hole in the floor with your eyes. He reported the issue 8 months ago when he moved in and everything went on very well, someone came to have a look and and the conversation with Frasers gave an impression that it would be fixed (but not yet due to Covid lockdown). Now the Covid lockdown is gone, same lady above came and had a look again and same thing she said it is not a defect. How do you feel entering your new home with the floor having a saggy hole in the living space and squeaky sound everywhere and it is not a defect??? Discussion is still going on but it wastes so much of our time. While the lady was doing this and getting paid, we had to spend time doing research and asked for time off to talk to her. It is not the right thing for a big company like Frasers to do so. You got issues with quality, you have to fix it and not pass to your customers!

Very disappointing company – It is often found, when dealing as an individual with the corporate system, that the corporate system will try its best to misguide you into doing certain actions that you would otherwise be well-informed enough to not do. This is bad – They tried to charge me to replace basin in the bathroom which has the very poor design of the basin in the bathroom. This is a layer separation due to poor quality material of the drawer so water and moisture will settle on itself causing warping. We was extremely careful with keeping the bathroom drawer and basin wiped, cleaned dried after use. However, as I said this is faulty of design of basin.

Poor Quality workmanship – I had purchased two houses from Fraser and my jaw dropped looking at the quality of what they had delivered. When I threatened to take them to VCAT, they paid for a building inspector to carry out an inspection report where all of… Read more

the issues i had reported (plus more) were captured. Fraser showed no intent in getting these items rectified. It has been over a year now and I am still trying to get those items from the building inspector's report ticked off. If i had known about the quality of their delivery, i would not have signed up for the second house. The worse mistake of my life. Stay away if you can.

Pride in workmanship & customer Satisfaction not one of their objectives – From day 1 our experience has been a complete disaster. Excellent quality and very responsive to fixing any defects – Overall the workmanship and quality was excellent. It was exactly as per the contract and the plans. They even gave us more car parking space than we thought we were going to get. There were very minor defects such as a crack in the gyprock in the ceiling appear after a month. Frasers came out to fill it and paint it over within 72 hours. Tap… Read more

leaks and paint marks and re-grouting all were corrected within 48 hours.

Ask the actual people who live in one of their houses – Well space is great but the detail and other items are debatable. The estimated replacement cost is doubtful or fanciful in their eyes they are saying look as the increase value "this isn't the building "its Sydney prices not the building itself. They use mdf scirting very cheap and the doors are equally cheap. The painting 3 coats doubtful… Read more

and outside paintwork is looking sad already lel alone the plastic fake wood is bleached already 2 years now. Mirrors are also desilvering on edges probably due to week extracion fans.

Buyers beware as it's your money they get and once the 2 year warranty on non structural is up you are on your own. Its now over a year since the review and they don't even reply to the reviewer because they, in my opinion, they don't care as they are they are a foreign company and the dollar rules.

We shall now see how good the strongbuild houses are in this final release.

Careless and arrogant – I have never encountered a company that shows such a total lack or care and respect towards its own customers! think developers would understand the importance of a what a HOME means to their clients but not Frasers. I would never go anywhere near this company ever again. I have lived in many new homes, and have never experienced such a large number of flaws and such poor workmanship. Just sad really.

Very poor service & workmanship – Don't buy any development from Australand; the sales people are brilliant but after a year things started breaking and leaking and as developers Australand will not act as the maintenance period has expired. Failing to rectify defects – Our strata scheme has retaining wall defects since occupancy in 2014. Frasers had been wasting warranty time taking years to rectify. other section is more defective than my section of the wall. The rectification was not rectified properly and continue to shift and more cracks appear and Frasers just returned to silicone the cracks as wide as 2cm. This issue had been ongoing for 6 years. Frasers properties are very poor quality and they do not rectify defects properly. Seven years on Frasers failed to comply with the deed settlement with our OC. It was agreed in the deed that within 4 weeks to commence the repairs from 18/10/21. Five months on the repairs commenced on 28/3/22. Incompetent builder.

Australand – Very frustrated with Australand and their faulty workmanship with regard to the build of units in Northcote, Melbourne. forming inside the units as well as dripping on to electrical wiring of lighting. Poor quality workmanship and equally poor quality customer service with denial of all responsibility.
