Autel MaxiScan MS509 Questions & Answers

I would not ever buy a Autel product again. Autel would not even look after my near new product under the one year warranty. There are many more dependable companies to purchase from.

Sorry I can't be helpful except for the point that some older cars from the 1996 and on do not always link with scanners very well. I have found that Launch link better than others with my experiences. I also know that many VW cars need scanners more capable of working with them. I have Jaguars and VW vehicles My beef with Autel is that I have one of their scanners and they would not attend to to under warranty even though it was like new. The best scanner I have ever had is the Topdon 800BT. It is my work horse. It covers too many cars to mention and it reads many cars back to 1996. It is total Wi Fi. so I don't have to mess around with cables to the car or to my computer to up date etc. And.....it will send the reports to my computer. It is the best $600 I have ever spent as I must have spent that much on cheap ones that only frustrated me to the hills. Good luck.
