I bought a second-hand side window glass for my Ford Ranger, to fit myself. Not only was the price the best in the nation but the service at the front counter (and behind it) was excellent.
I hate to be extorted by online businesses. I ordered and paid for a windscreen on their website. Several days later they contact me demanding that I pay nearly twice as much if I want them to supply the windscreen. Don't trust their online pricing. They are a VERY dishonest business

return them. That's not fair. So no I don't recommend this business and I wont waste time buying from them again. Autoglass, get your product right instead of loosing customers for $10 restocking. Good luck.

Ordered back glass but it got defogging issue. Mechanic also verified that it’s a wiring issue within glass but auto glass rejected saying that they had supplied many and could not do anything for it. Glass was ordered new and under warranty but they refused. Be very very careful before ordering.

centre phone operator (I'm guessing Philippines) who 'couldn't contact the warehouse' to give me a time. Finally the last time I called back I was told to come in at 8am today.
An hour into me sitting and waiting they called me into the workshop, saying they were having trouble with the 'panels' on the sides of my car, and asked me to put the roof on my convertible down - my car was disassembled by this stage.
I pressed the button, roof wouldn't move. It worked yesterday and all through the week.
So I was understandably pretty upset that I'd brought my car in with roof retracting; and now suddenly, it's not working.
The owner immediately told me 'it's not our fault, we'd done nothing' and told me I'd LIED about my roof working yesterday. 'It's an old car' 'We're not mechanics' 'We don't know how this works' 'how do we know it was working yesterday'.
I got more, and more upset as it became obvious they'd disabled my retractable roof and were now going to leave me with a damaged car and also no rear windshield. I tried telling them over and over I wasn't lying, they didn't believe me, or care.
The owner said they 'had other cars to work on' and moved my car to their parking lot.
I was really, really upset by this time. Not once did anyone say it'll be ok, we'll take care of this; we won't leave your car with a new mechanical issue; an office lady booked me an appointment I would have to PAY for at a mechanic, that they KNEW, 20km away.
I opened my laptop in their carpark and hotspotted my mobile device and started googling the car manual and how to reset convertible roof sensors - something they should have been doing the MINUTE they knew there was an issue, instead of telling me I was lying that my roof was fully working when I brought the car in and they'd done nothing.
I finally worked out that the cargo shelf they'd removed in my boot needed to be installed back into place and the fuse reset. I did this MYSELF in their CARPARK, raised my roof, and told them I'd fixed the issue they caused MYSELF!
That's when the owner, who by this time had totally disassembled my car earlier, told me he REFUSED to install the windshield they'd ordered, or put any panels back on my car. He told me to call the POLICE. I couldn't make this up.
I told him that's fine because I don't want him touching my car, I just want my glass, I'd ordered from Sydney, and I'll go elsewhere. He said no, i'm not selling you the glass either.
This is convertible glass for a 2005 renault they had to special order in. There is no-one to resell this to, he did that out of spite?! I went into the office and a woman in there agreed to sell my glass for the lovely price of $680.
I went back the carpark to wait for the panel so I could leave this hellhole. I was extremely upset by this point. The owner approached me twice more, I asked him not talk to me, unless it was to apologise, there was no point in arguing further, it's not going anywhere and just give me my glass as I didn't want them working on my car.
He walked back into the warehouse and yelled 'Don't give her the glass, don't give it to her'. I was absolutely hysterical by this point, I screamed at him that I'd already paid for it, give me the glass and leave it alone.
I'm now sitting in an O'Briens getting my glass installed by lovely people who gave me tissues and a complimentary coffee as well as a workstation and gave me discounted install because I was so upset.
You have been warned - do not let these people touch your car. This experience was absolutely, absolutely horrific
