I recently had a solar installation done by AZ Solar. Neil was very professional throughout the process, and the installer Jian did an awesome job with the installation. Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. Highly recommend AZ Solar for their excellent service and skilled team.
Follow-up · It was complex case due to embedded network. So, preparation took some time. However, installation was very quick and nice. Abot 5 hours. Clean up was good as well. No issues.

Great communication at the start to make the sale. Paid the deposit and 3 months later, was told they cannot install as they can't engage any solar installers. Their customer service was almost non existent between paying the deposit and and telling me they can not engage any installers.
Follow-up · The company has refused all further correspondence despite costing me the rebate due to non performance of the contract. "Neil" from their "installation team" outright shouted at me for over 10 minutes through the phone accusing me of lying that he had promised to get my solar installed before the end of the rebate.
Recently had panels, inverter and battery installed through AZ solar. The physical installation team did a great job (possibly used contractors and not AZ staff). terrible, constantly getting told "yes sir, we will get back to you later today with and install date" only to not hear back at all, until I reach out a few days to a week later only to be told the same thing again. Finally got a date locked in (2 months later), so I took the day off work to be there for the install, but no one showed up, no call, nothing. I rang them and the excuse was that the message he's sent to me about the installation being postponed, went to the wrong customer.
Also, found that when we had a black out that they didn't wire up the battery backup as they said they would when making a sale. When questioned they denied that it was part of the install. Likely forgot to communicate to their install team to carry out the battery backup.
Overall I think this company would be doing much better with a restructure of their middle management to better lead and implement processes to communicate with their customers at a higher level.

time I asked about the payment, they gave vague answers, promised to “look into it,” and then disappeared without any follow-up. This kind of behavior shows a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. If a company cannot even honor a simple commitment of $200, how can anyone trust them with something more important? A promise is a promise — and breaking it repeatedly reflects very poorly on their ethics and credibility. I believe this is their tactic: keep delaying, making you chase them for what’s rightfully yours, until you eventually give up. That’s dishonest and disrespectful. A company that treats people this way doesn’t deserve anyone’s trust or business. If you value honesty, transparency, and professionalism, I strongly recommend staying away from this company. My personal experience tells me they make promises easily — but never deliver on them.
