Purchased lovencare set and terrible experience stay away from this shop
I did purchase LovenCare set and ehen paid deposit was told maximum 2 weeks i will receive the item after 3 months and reporting it to ACCC i received the goods and when put together they were damaged.I have contacted [name removed] and sent him photos of the damage and no reply or call back so i will have to take it further but stray away from this shop.
Poor Customer Service
We bought a cot 14 June 2020 and was told that it will be available in a week's time and they will call us for pickup. Of course no one called after a week. So we patiently waited another week before we called. First few calls, no one picks up and we left several messages. Then a warehouse person picked up and told us not to call them, they will call us. And surprise, surprise, no one called us. We went into the store to check. The person working that day had no idea how to check it on the system on where our cot is. They said someone will call...us on Monday, no one called again. I called again today, they said maybe end of the month of mid August! It's been 1 month and a week since we bought the cot! And they denied that they said it's available in 1 week's time. Due to Covid, my husband and I has to self isolate once we get tested for Covid 19 and we will have to self isolate until we admit to the hospital! So this has cause us major problem!!! They did not offer free delivery etc on how they will fix this problem!
Terrible customer service
Do not shop at baby direct ringwood!! Worst customer service ever, and the products are crap! After waiting for ages to be served (I had to wait while they served their friends or family first even though I was next for some time, as they were speaking in another language to each other) the help was terrible. We bought a cot and mattress on sale, the price seemed to go to be true and it was the mattress doesn’t even fit the cot! Their advance, just keep pushing and squeezing it in to stop it from bowing!
Do not buy your baby furniture from this store
My husband and I recently tried to purchase our baby furniture from Baby Direct. We paid in full, and were promised that our furniture would arrive in 4-6 weeks maximum.
Well let’s just say, our furniture did not arrive in that time frame. We were left only weeks out from when baby is due, with no furniture, broken promises, lies and deceitfulness.
Staff were constantly promising things they couldn’t deliver and when I tried to follow up, it was absolutely impossible to get in contact with anyone. One weekend I called both stores 20-30 times...
Ordered a pram
Ordered a pram from Ringwood store paid for was told definately 2 weeks now it is a month later they do not answer phone calls or emails buy elsewhere as customer service is appalling

I’ve bought a couple of baby products from this store, and frankly each time has been worse than the last.
The customer service is appalling.
I placed an online order in September, followed up on October, November and December. Each time I was told - oh it’s here, I’m sure it’s come in. Someone will call you back. And then I was ghosted, until the next time I called. I visited the store 3 times, all for a $40 item. The last time I visited I was finally given a refund. But I’m told he’ll keep looking and call me when he finds it.
The store i...tself is a mess. Crap everywhere, no semblance of order. Is it any wonder they can’t find it?? Do yourself a favour and shop anywhere else. All the other stores price match, and many have a price beat guarantee. It’s simply not worth your while to shop here.
Poorly managed and pathetic business
To my fellow shoppers, this is an unbiased review. Unfortunately it is entirely negative based on not just my experience, but multiple existing shoppers and new alike. Truth speaks loudly so take this time to listen up.
Don't believe their 5 star ratings, all hired by overseas writers to boost their lackluster image.
Where to begin? Warehouse staff are never helpful, seems to chat to couriers more than actual assist customers.
Floating staff from their apparently sad-looking shelter or back office, are always too occupied to answer simple qu...estions. Yes, always the same girls walking out never making any form of greeting. No names? No problem. You all know who you are, tsk tsk. You're all better off cancelling your laybys. Their "cheap" prices always and often come with big headaches, causing customers anxiety and even affecting their mental health! Floor staff always chat wth each other or just using computers for everything other than stock checking. Without naming names, one boy pretentiously looks up our order, looks at his woman colleague and tells u its another 3 extra weeks. Putrid.
Horrible customer service
We went into the baby direct Ringwood store in March and purchased a convertible 0-4 years car seat. We were told that it would arrive by end of month and we would receive a phone call once it was in. We received an email from the store asking us to call at end of March so we did thinking the seat was in. When I called I was told it was not in but would be in, in 2 weeks and we would get a call. Three weeks later still no call so I called the store to be told the seat wouldn’t be in until early May and asked “would this be a problem” to which I...answered yes as my baby was due early May. She then said I could swap from the maxi cosi we had ordered to another brand. I asked for it to be put on hold so we could come have a look at it in the weekend. She was very reluctant to do this but agreed. We went into the store to see the car seat and agreed to the one they had in stock. We were then told that this new seat was $20 more and we would need to pay the difference as it “was a better seat” they refused to waive the $20 even when we pointed out all of the above. I would not recommend this store and definitely will not be shopping with them again
Wish I could rate 0 stars
We ordered a cot in 2017 for our baby. At the end of 2018 we assembled this cot. The cot is faulty and after countless emails and calls they will not replace it or fix it. Stay away!!
