funds. They were advertised as in stock on their website. I waited, and then, finally, on 14 May, I received a shipment notification: only one could be shipped; the other had been discontinued. I requested a refund to my credit card because I didn't intend to shop at Baby Kingdom again. A customer service officer named Rose initially refunded the wrong product to the gift card, the one that had been shipped. I asked for the right product to be refunded to the credit card, not the gift card. She wrote on 18 May "Yes it should go back on your credit card”. I waited; still nothing. Today (1 June), I'm still waiting for a refund for goods that were never delivered. This is unacceptable. I will take further action. Don't order anything from this business.
I've experienced similar issues to other customers. I ordered a few items listed as "back order, leaving warehouse in 5-10 days". A month later, the order is still being "processed" and they have no update as to when the order will be sent. This has happened across my 2 last orders with them. I purchased a booster seat (Britax Kid's Guard) last week from the Alexandria Baby Kingdom shop. Steve could not have been more helpful in teaching me how to install it. I'm not the handiest grandfather. Steve really took his time and was highly focussed on toddler safety, demonstrating the installation with an actual Kid's Guard booster seat in the shop. I was extremely impressed and have posted a video.

I bought an uppababy cruz v3 and a baby bjorn carrier - at the time of purchase, stock was “showing” 5-10 business days to “leave the warehouse”. Guess what… here’s the story - I called the store 3 times to follow up, told me they didn’t have any stock. I emailed 4 times and got 1 generic response back. FINALLY dispatched after 2 weeks and it was sent to Perth!!! I’m in QLD and it was dispatched from Sydney… it sat in Perth for a week and so I didn’t receive my pram until 1 month later. It would have been quicker to walk to Syd, pick up the pram and walk back to Brisbane. Funnily enough, the order was sent in two separate packages because the pram was not in stock… the first package arrived safe and sound in a week after following up numerous times. Not sure why the pram went walk about and ended up on the other side of the country.
0/10 for online customer service. If there is a delay or change - YOU MUST LET YOUR CUSTOMERS KNOW. Do not wait for them to follow up numerous times.

After lengthy time deciding on car seats and what is more practical and affordable we went with the maxi cosi pria g cell which she highly recommended. Then we looked at co sleeping bassinets, and she stated that her favourite was the traversina sleeper which is one that I had in mind previously before entering the shop. She answered all my questions with a wealth of knowledge, reassured my doubts and allowed me to try out the pram and baby seat to get a feel for it. have". - I called their Alexandria store and was told not to bring it in unless I had the box. Since I was already in the area and live 30 minutes away, I then had to drive home to go and get the box. - Pay tolls to go home and back again. Cost: $20. - Once finally arrive back at Alexandria I am told "we cannot exchange this because we don't know about what happened in our warehouse. Our HQ is reviewing the footage. At some point they will get back to you with their decision" I respond that I don't care about what happened in their warehouse: they sent me the wrong product and they need to fix their own mistake. The cashier tells me that I need to go home, and wait to hear from HQ. I'm like "I just drove for an hour, to go home and pick up the box and back again, I'm not going to do this again. You made the mistake, you clearly need to fix it." Eventually her manager comes over and after trying to hide behind his staff member, decides that he should probably (eventually) do the right thing and capitulates. - I then have to drive back out of this center, around to the loading dock in the back and sit there for sometime as they faff around. I think to myself "what other tricks are they going to try and pull to blame me for their mistake?" I wonder if I am going to have to argue with them some more, but eventually, the guy comes back and like "here is the one you ordered - see?" -- he is clearly trying to imply I've ordered the wrong seat and this is somehow my fault. I'm like "thanks pal" - he shoves it in my hands and I try and read the barcode and figure out if this is actually what I've ordered - he has already briskly walked away. Is this the right seat this time? What has this guy just shoved in my hands? It's hard to know. I stand there next to my car trying to look up barcodes to figure it out.
To the entire company at Baby Kingdom: your service is a disgrace and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
I will never do business with you again, and to anyone thinking about ordering online: don't do it. If a company sends the wrong product they should have a process in place to quickly and easily deal with it - Baby Kingdom doesn't, and, they try and do everything they can to not exchange for the correct product.

When it comes to buying baby stuff, layaway is a particularly useful option because quite often you don’t need these things straight away, just before the baby arrives. So if you’re a planner at heart (like me), Baby Kingdom is the perfect solution to buying those big ticket items, avoiding the knock to your cash flow, and ensuring you receive the goods in time for your little one!
Honourable mention also to Bronwyn (from Accounts?), as well as Laura from the Chullora Store. All of the staff I have been in contact with have been phenomenal, but these two ladies are especially on the ball and happy to help!

I ordered two products from them over 2 weeks ago and still don’t have my order or any update from them despite reaching out twice already. At this point I’m considering asking for a refund. Ridiculous!

I had a great experience ordering a pram from their online store. I needed that pram to be delivered to Melbourne in about a week as we're going overseas, I called the store and talked to 2 staff (I think their names are Marten & Sonya), they're lovely and helpful. They advised me to choose the jump the queue option for only 4.99dlr extra, I had the pram delivered in 5 days, as promised.
