We ended up leaving having purchased everything we needed when we thought we might just come and have a look. There was no pressure from the staff, they were patient and understanding. The January sale meant we made huge savings, with these the best prices we have seen anywhere. They also price match any other store. And a bonus, the store had toilets - much needed for expecting Mums! I would highly recommend this store to anyone, if you just want to browse or understand what you might need, and for great service and savings.

2018 Update: Baby Mode is my one stop Baby shop

Baby Mode is my one stop Baby shop! I have been in this store many times and each time im always greeted with friendly staff that are so knowledgeable. My latest purchase was another car seat.... I needed it to fit in my car along with other car seats installed in my car already. Its reassuring that the staff at Baby Mode are up to date with the latest safety standards and were willing to go that extra mile to check that the car seat did in fact fit in my car. I made a car seat booking with their professional installers for the following Tuesday and the process was quick and promptly installed.

You guys really make it seem so easy when I had no idea where to begin, thanking you again.

What a great baby store in Melbourne – I shopped at Baby Mode in Sunshine yesterday. of there stores it worth a visit. I was referred by a work mate who has been shopping there for years. 

Both stores Sunshine and Epping are open 7 days a week and are having an up to 50% off  storewide sale. 15% off most brands kidsline, living textiles, Avent, etc etc. all prams & car seats on sale ( got my agile pram & infant carrier for $600) they also have a boori on sale 20% off the whole boori range.

My tip..

When I was there the staff were constantly answering the phone as people called about the sale and general enquires. I've been to both stores and although Epping is much bigger & i think has more variety the Sunshine store still has a lot of product. I was amazed how much stuff was in that store. I bit overwhelming for a first time mum to be.  

D the owner said the weekends get pretty crazy even with 6 plus staff on its sometimes difficult. they will probably be run off their feet at their sale so if your a first time mum like me (who was clueless) I suggest weekdays cos they could spend more time with you giving advice. 

I was fairly lucky as I bought a secondhand cot & changer so left the pram & seat to the last minute. But they do offer a 3 month lay by on all the sales items as well. That was pretty impressive.

Best online service ever – The team went above and beyond in helping me to order a cot and mattress from interstate. From price matching to organising a quote and delivery from a different courier to cut the cost by more than half! Always amazing service over email and phone and couldn’t recommend them enough! Wonderful customer service and great prices – I shopped around for a bassinet mattress online and babymode had the most reasonable price and shipping fee. When the mattress arrived it had a small flaw and the staff were very friendly and obliging, and have organised a replacement through their supplier. Their communication was wonderful and I would have no hesitation in using this company again. Highly recommended.

Horrible Service – Went to the store in Epping. No one would help me, all the staff members were more interested in what they were doing during the week. I felt intimidated because they kept staring at me as if they thought i would steal something. No one should ever feel like that!! Show details

Bad experience will not return – Went in to get a quote on a pram, capsule, car seat, rocking chair, monitor, etc. Asked for a package deal. Girl spent over an hour writing quote up and by the time I finally received it I noticed that not even 1 item out of the 8 items we wanted was reduced all were as marked on shelves. One of the items we mentioned was $70 cheaper else were and all they did was match it and wanted full payment as it was a special price.

Do yourself all a favour and shop around baby mode have good knowledge of products but all items are sold at premium prices. We saved over $600 by shopping elsewhere.

Anti Vaxers- don't shop here! – At a recent baby expo, baby mode's stand neighboured a stand where whooping cough vaccinations were being administered. A representative of Baby Mode took photographs and trashed this (state government) program on an anti vaccination site. Do not shop at Baby Mode. They are anti vaxers And choose to share their dangerous beliefs in the most inappropriate of forums.

Called for an emergency baby seat fitting – We called baby mode sunshine store and spoke to one of the staff and told them we needed a seat fitted urgently and they did there best to fit us in and fitted the seat thanks very much will be using the car seat fitting service again when needed good customer service and well explained on what to do when the baby is in the seat as well thanks very much one very happy customer Show details

personally on each of our visits even though she was not the one to serve us each time. We were able to make a decision in our purchases quickly despite our non stop questions, due to her understanding of products and ordering procedures.

We will always shop at Baby Mode from now on, knowing that we will be looked after. They always attempt to price match even though they are a smaller store and are not as famous as some of the other big names out there.

They were able to go through a different delivery service and made my purchase including delivery $70 cheaper!!! This price including delivery was less expensive than the actual mattress at other stores I had searched online. The last thing I wanted in between moving, being half way through my pregnancy and chasing a toddler around was the stress and heartache of not finding the mattress I needed for my baby due in October within my price range. I can't thank you enough Baby Mode for going above and beyond for me! Without a doubt in my mind I will be back for more purchases in the future.

Big Baby Store in Epping VIC – We have purchased from Baby Mode Epping few weeks ago. Its a big store with lots on range. Their prices are very competitive, and their customer service is outstanding, well above par compared to bigger chain baby stores in the area. Parking is super easy. The girls even went the extra mile and assisted us in taking the car seat & stroller out to our car to get a better understanding of how it would fit in.

Family store – Went shopping there today and i felt like home the girls are amazing so friendly and all of them had great customer service. Baby mode is one of the most friendly places that I have ever been to, staff are amazing, store is amazing! So clean and bright!

Amazing – The girls at baby mode Epping are amazing, I've been in there about ten times in the last month not being able to make up my mind about a pram & was served by the same people several times and they were always really nice & courteous. One of them i think her name was Daniella even put them in my boot so i could see what it looked like, she explained pros and cons and i finally made up my mind. Thanks guys.

Great Baby Store – I highly recommend you visit Baby Mode if you are in the market for baby nursery goods. The lady that served us at the Epping store listened to our requirements and could not help us enough in finding the correct fit for our bub to be. Fabulous customer service – I ordered some Baby Gros form Baby Mode and they got in touch to explain they had run out of the ones I had ordered.
