They sell what they don't stock

Bought a car seat..after 3 weeks they said they don't have stock and wait... I waited, then said they don't have that color... i said OK.... just give me a car seat.... then they said there is further delay...
I got refund after 1.5 month ... never buy anything from them

I was initially very apprehensive having read some very negative reviews post ordering of an almost identically named online store (Baby Direct Online vs Baby Online Direct). However, pleasantly able to report I recieved products promptly and as described. Was also contacted by Baby Online Direct who assured me they took customer satisfaction seriously and to their credit they came through. Overall pleased with transaction and delivery experience. Let this review serve as reassurance to anyone else coming across the same reviews like me- double check the name. These guys are legit. Show details

So glad I found & Baby Direct are TWO different companies.

I called thinking it was Baby Direct to give them an ear full as my order had not been refunded and l have been promised multiple time it would be. The whole process took 3 months to finally get my refund.

The girl on the phone said they get many calls looking for Baby Direct Ringwood or Hoppers Crossing. She was so helpful and suggested some advice.

I ended up ordering from them and got my Britax Maxi Guard in Black within the week.

Well priced, items as described and great service

We got a baby capsule and adaptor for our pram. Price was the cheapest in the market incl shipping. Customer service was quick, they emailled straight away to do the verification process (just gave them a utility bill) and it was shipped next day. Definately recommend especially for those higher price point items. Wish i discovered them before i brought the pram!! Show details

Great Communication and Product

The communication and product I received was great! I received a phone call (which I did not expect) shortly after making my purchase to confirm shipping details and even let me know that they now had a slightly cheaper price on the pram I was ordering and were offering to refund me so I could re-purchase at the lower price. The product was delivered on time and in great condition. I was a little worried after reading some reviews on the company on forums and other review sites however I'm glad I ignored them and went ahead with the purchase. They even followed up to check that the delivery had been received and that I was happy with the Item.


Selling product out of stock

I have placed an order of a baby bath on 18/11/18, after a week on 23/11/18 I havent received any email so I rang and got advised it’s out of stock. Finally it got sent out via Australia Express Post but to a wrong address. On 7/12/18 I finally received the bath and it just looks like a second hand one (I wish somewhere I can upload picture, 9 black scratches all over the bath with no wrapping in the box). 19 days delay and with a product quality like this, my worst online shopping experience so far!


Excellent Customer Service

I urgently needed a particular item before I went away for the weekend. The customer service was brilliant, and the item was express posted and arrived in plenty of time. I spoke to a couple of different staff while organising this, and every staff member was exceptionally helpful. Amazing customer service


Fantastic customer service

I confused matters when I ordered by giving 2 different delivery addresses. I received a prompt email seeking clarification. I phoned to clarify the matter and asked if the item could be despatched promptly. I was reassured and told it would be posted that day ( from another state). I was gobsmacked to receive an email to say it had been delivered the next morning. Very helpful staff member on the phone (sorry I can’t remember name) PLUS fantastic service in getting it to my door the next day. Well done team. The product is excellent and was promptly put to use the same day. Thank you so much.

I recently ordered a pram and I received an email requesting for a copy of the ID to match the card used to purchase the pram to be sent through first. This has made me very iffy as I've never had to do this with online ordering before.

Anyone had to do this?


Yes I did too and it's fine. Just show your ID card not the bank card, so long as you used your bank card. If you used someone else's then use their ID card
