after we had left on a six month trip. When I contacted the company for a return or exchange, they rudely refused and did not even bother replying to our emails. I am in absolute shock and disgust by their terrible customer service. If you are thinking of buying something from this company, I suggest finding another shop to avoid disappointment and headaches.

Baby Train tells me that I need to send the pram in my own cost. Which is 180$ shipping cost from Brisbane to Melbourne. This is ridiculous, I was sold a buggy which broke on the second month, a crucial part of it was faulty (THE BREAKS HANDLE!!!!) and I am being told that it was my fault because I bought it online and I should be paying 180$ to the shipment. Also even that Phil and Teds accepted that the buggy was faulty and a refund was due but Baby Train literally tells me they will look and decide once they receive the pram if they can give me a refund or a store credit!!

truly offer a great discounted price - much cheaper than Baby Bunting and similar stores. I was served by Lynne who I was so pleased with - best customer service - she spent over an hour with me going through different products and had such a wealth of knowledge. Being a first time mum I don't really know much about baby products and brands so I found it refreshing that the staff knew so much about their products and didn't just read off a tag like other stores. Will definitely be purchasing any baby related products from here and recommend this 100% to all my friends and family. Thank you Baby Train for all your help and support :)

every item and why we would or wouldn't need it.
They took countless prams and car seats out to our cars to see how easily we would be able to use them in our every day lives, at one point I was even shown how to swaddle a baby using a teddy bear as a baby.
When we were finally ready to make our big purchases we knew exactly what we were doing, we spent 2.5 hours with a staff member walking us around and helping us collect every item that we needed.
The staff packed our car for us, assembled our pram, installed our car seat on the spot and organised a time to deliver and assemble the custom ordered furniture to us all at significantly less than we had expected to pay.
Whenever my partner or I walk in there we are always greeted by name with huge smiles and theres always someone waiting to give our daughter a cuddle.
I cannot thank Baby Train enough for making the most daunting shopping experience of our lives the easiest as well.
I cannot wait for my friends to have babies so that I get to go shopping there again.

different fonts on the brand writing etc. I went back to ask what was going on. I got told over and over that they are still the same. As you could appreciate I wanted them to match for my twins. The owner (used car salesman), did not apologise or offer any compensation. Just said we could order more and we could come back. I was then furious, feeling really cheated so I asked for a refund and left. Iv since found he was selling really old models for the same price across the street. Taking advantage of pregnant women and thinking we are stupid. Not happy. Highly DO NOT recommend.
Parents please do not waste your time going there or purchasing anything from this store – Their customer service is non existent. They claim to value their customers and yet they dont walk the talk when it comes down to it. There are plenty of better stores to purchase baby products from than this one.

deliberately cut off four digits of my card as I was not comfortable of emailing personal docs in full. Got the 2nd call on Tuesday and was advised that they still need the full copies, - objected - was offered direct debit. Was not happy that the direct debit option was not offered in the first place. The lady down the other end acted defensively and it was an unpleasant experience. Requested refund. Went to a competitor.

Takes forever to ship orders – Purchased an item online on the 2nd of July and it was only shipped today on the 11th of July. Their website states "Baby Train endeavours to ensure all goods will be delivered within 3 to 7 working days". It's already been 7 working days and they have just shipped the item today so clearly the item will not be delivered within 7 working days. Will not be using again.

Baby Bunting Are Big - But Baby Train Are Much Better – Have shopped at Baby Train a few times now after a poor experience with Baby Bunting. Their prices are always great and their service is awesome. I was most impressed with my recent visit where I had a manufacturers issue with my twin pram and the way they dealt with it was fantastic. Baby Bunting might be bigger but I have personally found that the experience at Baby Train is far superior.
Greedy business – Purchased the icandy pram. Received the pram broken and baby train will not take any responsibility. This is first time a business has done this. Higher management will not even talk to the customer or offer a solution. Once they have your money that’s it. Stay away. Don’t waste your money. Any normal business will not let the customer walk away with a faulty item. They are a greedy business.
Slimy, Arrogant, Rude – Purchased a bugaboo board with an adapter, the adapter and board didn't go together as the adapter or board changed styles. I got an old board and a new adapter (or visa versa). bag, great! Then I received a call back from a manager where they changed their mind. The reason they changed their mind was because the new delivery address was different from the original. There are several reasons why I gave them a different address, 1. It would be cheaper for them (a Sydney cbd address vs the original regional country address. 2. The original address was a holiday house and only there every second weekend. SO, They wanted me to buy a new product, return the old and then I would get sent the new product and then finally get a refund. Are you serious what a hassle!! So I said just send it to the original delivery address and we'll remove the issue of the "new address". But no, they changed their mind again saying "no this is our policy and that's the way we have to do it, that's what our boss said". So I asked to speak with the boss to explain the situation, which they refused, which I questioned, then changed their mind again saying oh no his in a meeting, to which I said I'll wait for a call back when his finished, to which they said his not the type of boss to take a call. WOW! A boss in the retail business that's not willing to speak to a customer, interesting strategy! Also worthy of a mention is when I explained the original address was a holiday house I received a rude remark of "oh that's nice". No I wasn't boasting, I was trying to give you some background to help you understand and make a better, more informed decision. But great customer support NOT! After defending my position on the matter and refusing to be manipulated by the slimy customer support team that make up the rules as they go, I was told by the manager that called me back, that she would get a manager to call me back...how many managers does it take to make a decision on a $21.95 swap. Yes that's right there is no money changing hands and I'm talking about a $21.95 product. Putting that into perspective, it's about 5 coffees. A mistake that was made by Baby Train by sending my the wrong adapter all of a sudden became my problem! Overall I would have to rate them 0/5 if I could but I will have to settle to 1/5.

Anyways moving on I made a small deposit and advised that I would come that week Saturday and make full payment and pick up the pram as well..
All of this was fine till saturday came and we paid in full and when the product was handed to us me and my husband noticed a huge scratch on the pram, So we asked [name removed] if we could get it swapped with another spare one that they had at the back...
I was horrified by the look I received that she had on her face.. She looked like I abused her or something.. (mind you I paid $999.00 for the ABC Design pram.. Now I know this isn't a lot compared to your bugaboo and Joolz but its the service that I received.. I work in customer service myself and if a customer of mine wasn't too happy with something they purchased, I would make sure I would try and help them to get a satisfactory outcome of it and they walk out of the store happy..
Well as in my case I walked out of the store in disgust of how someone could be rude through body language..
Moving on I did get a second piece (brand new from the back) and [name removed] just pushed it to my husband and said "here you go" with all the cardboard box around the handle where we couldn't even fold it down... I then stepped in and said "hmm we need this cut off otherwise I cant get it into he car... She then took it and tried to rip off the cardboard bit that was around the handle bar... realized that she couldn't do it and hence needed scissors..
I walked out of the store in absolute disgust - from friendly staff member to rude manners and body language all because some team member didn't like us asking for another product when there is a huge scratch on it .... If that were the case I may as well have purchased something second hand. I purchased it brand new from a store... so I expect service!!

Saved us having the bother of buying a capsule/adaptors or the hassel of hiring which we believed to be our only option thanks to greedy Sydney stores we went to enquire at! Hidden postage costs – I bought a product from baby Train because it was cheaper than from the manufacturer, but the postage cost wasn't calculated when I purchased it and then I got a phone call saying postage was $25, which brought the total cost to MORE than the manufacturer's cost.

Best service ever! – We purchased the ABC zoom pram about 6 months ago and unfortunately had an issue with the frame. A quick call to check and we came in the same day. had issue after issue and my baby has not improved much and is developmentally delayed. She can't sit or hold her head up amongst other issues. My husband passed by Baby Train to purchase something else and told Baby Train about her medical issues and that we required a rear facing car seat as she cannot sit in the forward facing car seat that we had purchased. He was advised that they would exchange the car seat for a rear facing car seat. So I travelled to Baby Train with the car seat that we had, over 30 kms from my house where I was told that they wouldn't exchange the seat as it was over 30 days sinceI had purchased it which is their policy. All they said was that they were sorry and that they would advise all their staff of their policy since we had been told otherwise. I left extremely upset considering how hard everything has been with my baby girl and to have travelled all the way to Moorabbin, when I don't have the time or the energy for useless trips. And I was stuck with a car seat I couldn't use. One of my girlfriends called to speak to the owner within an hour and he wouldn't even take her phonecall. We couldn't believe that he didn't have the courtesy to take a phonecall. This same girlfriend had purchased her baby furniture and products from Baby Gallery in Clayton and she asked the owner Mary if she would exchange the car seat. And she said yes. I exchanged the car seat and now have a rear facing car seat. Mary was amazing and so compassionate. I couldn't believe that she exchanged it despite the fact I had purchased nothing from her store and that she would make no money on the car seat that I exchanged. What an amazing woman and business. I won't be purchasing anything from Baby Train again. I will not benefit the owner who has no ounce of understanding or compassion and would not even take a phonecall.
Information that was given was incorrect; owner would not talk to us; for a business that sells most of their products to pregnant women, they have no understanding when life does not go according to plan.
Nice staff – After our bad experience at baby bunting we though we would try baby train for our funiture goods. The lady was very helpful and had great product knowledge on everything.
