Boba Wrap

Best purhcase ive ever made! – Absolutely love my boba wrap! The material can get a little hot In the peaks of summer but apart from that theres nothing negative I can really say about it! All round amazing product and would recommend to any mum in the market look at similar products! Money well spent.
The number one must-have for a new mum!! – The best thing you could buy for your sanity and your back! $20 second hand on gumtree and worth 5 times the amount! I am reluctant to wash it because I can't do without it for a day for it to dry!! Haha. Just need to practice a few times putting it on (YouTube is great) and it's quickly your best friend!!
I can never work it – I bought this when my baby was newborn, but I haven't really used it because even after trying MANY MANY times, I can never get it to support his weight properly, and it quickly becomes uncomfortable for either one of us. I love the generosity of the wrap, and the fabric is lovely and breathable. If I could get it to wrap nicely on me I would love it! I am much happier with my Baby Bjorn One carrier.
Not sure of quality – I loved my boba wrap with my newborn, but it was quite thick and my daughter and I got hot so easily. After prolonged use, a small hole appeared next to the label and made me quite suspicious of the quality of this wrap. Googled it and found it to be quite a common problem. Next time I may buy something made in countries other than China.
Loved it! – I bought this wrap with a soft carrier as a combo pack (was originally interested on the carrier, but used the wrap more). I loved it. It was comfortable for both myself and my son, He loved being in it and would settle straight away. It takes a few times to get it right (needs to be tight to hold the baby, otherwise it will sag), but definitely worth it. Comfortable, light, baby loves it. Easy to clean. Can take a bit of practice to put it on.
Invaluable for newborns – This wrap is so supportive and snuggly for mum & baby, particularly for newborns. It was easy to tie and slid baby into, the insturctions are great and I looked up lots of youtube videos to see what other mums where doing too, including breastfeeding in it. It takes a couple of tries to get the tension right as baby will slide down a little once… Read more
they relax and fall asleep. When my son fell asleep I would put the shoulder strap over the side and back of his head to support his neck. My baby was a difficult sleeper for the first five months and he usually slept better when in this than in his cot. I loved using it so much it's what I usually give as a baby shower gift now, they should give one of these to every new mum. Very supportive and snuggly for newborns. Easy to tie and put baby in. Can be warm in summer, dress you and baby in one less layer than you normally would
Comfortable and supportive for baby and wearer – I love this wrap! Best $50 I've spent on baby stuff. I bought this after struggling with the mini monkey and reading rave reviews here, and was not disappointed. It looks complicated, but the instructions are really easy to follow and I had my newborn in the perfect position from the first attempt. You just have to make sure it's on nice and tight… Read more
or the baby will slowly slide down!
My baby settles quickly and happily sleeps on me all day in the wrap. His head is well supported, so I have 2 hands free to get on with other stuff. Both my husband and I were getting back pain from wearing bubs, but this wrap spreads weight evenly and feels super comfy and supportive. The material is quite thick but I've been wearing it in summer without too much grief, I just dress the baby in one less layer. Super comfortable and supportive for baby and wearer, great value, easy to use
Top of the must buys – I happen to buy the sleepy wrap by chance not knowing whether I would use it or not. I got it out when bub was 3 weeks old, after watching a you tube vid on how to wrap it. Tucked bub in and he was asleep within minutes. Unbelievably comfortable for both of us. I feel like bub is more secure and with the fabric feel he's closer to me and can… Read more
easily feel his movements. Comfort, washable & compact Saggy if you don't wrap it well enough. That's more user error than product fault though
a must have – I love this wrap, easy to use, supportive, comfortable and versatile. My baby loves it. Has worked well from birth to 6 months. He is getting a bit heavy for it now as the stretch sags a bit too much and too quickly. Having him in this sling means if he wants to sit up and interact he can, or he can snuggle in. Forward facing bub wasn't so good… Read more
for me due to the weight distribution.
Overall fantastatic, couldn't have done without. very comfortable, versatile and affordable bub loved it so much it was hard for me to get him to sleep elsewhere.
Best baby carrier ever – Best baby carrier ever. Baby is comfortable and snug. I can wear this carrier for a couple of hours without being uncomfortable at all and has a few different ways to carry bubs. Machine washable and very simple to use. This carrier/wrap comes in various different colors and is very affordable. Comfort Can be a little warm in summer
Great for new bubs – I love my sleepy wrap. used it for the first 4 months everywhere, then bub started to get heavy. Now she's 6 months & I try not to use any carrier on my front because of the weight. Haven't found one that I would use past 6 months - but that might just be me. very cheap at $30 hard to get used to putting it on, but very easy once you know how. Show reply
Wonderful entry level wrap – An amazing way to be close to your baby. I love mine and use it all the time. As bub grows we have moved on to a more supportive wrap, but the sleepy wrap is an old favourite, easy to use for quick short trips, particularly because u can pre tie the wrap and just slip bub in. Cheap, comfortable, bub goes to sleep quickly Stretch means its not so great for long wears - tends to sag a little
I use mine everyday! – I had a traditional baby carrier with straps and buckles. I likes being able to carry my newborn around but I found his head wasn't really supported and I had to always have one hand supporting him. When I saw domeone wearing a sleepy wrap I asked her about it. What I noticed was how snug her baby seemed and how comfy it tooked to wear. I bought… Read more
my first sleepy wrap that day. Since then I've bought a second wrap so when I wash one, I still have the other. I love the versatility of this wrap, from a newborn hammock hold to a toddler hip carry. Its easy to tie and I like to tie mine on before I leave the house so I can just slip him in. I use it for shopping instrad of navigating a pram through the isles, I use it while I prepare dinner, hang washing, do all manner of chores. My baby loves being in it and I love having him close but still having free hands.
Its even useful if you're breastfeeding in public places as it acts as a cover. I wouldn't be without this product. Great colour choice, easy to use, washes well, cheap, comfortable to wear, comfortable for baby, versatile. May be a bit hot in summer

Fantastic – I would recommend the Sleepy Wrap to everyone. A little tricky to get used to tying it initially but after a few times it's quite simple. The wrap is very supportive for bubs, so comfortable to wear and seems very comfy for bubs as he always falls asleep when he's in it. Comfy, simple, compact to store or take out and about
Perfect for me and my little man – This wrap is perfect for when i need to quickly go to the shops for some milk or bread. It saves me from trying to deal with a very heavy pram and a crying baby. I also use it at home when bubs seems unsettled and I can continue cleaning or cooking. Good for my back and very comfortable for my baby. He falls asleep as soon as he is in it. Show reply
Most comfortable wrap – For my first baby i was given a bubba moe sling and it was so uncomfortable. When I found out I was pregnant with my second I was determined to find something I could wear for long periods at a time and something that my baby will be comfortable in. When I saw the sleepy wrap I was intrigued and I loved how snug the baby was inside. When I finally… Read more
had my little girl I bought a sleepy wrap and tried it out for a family outing in the city. It was so comfortable and I could wear it for a long period of time. My baby was so comfortable and with her having reflux and being in the upright position she was so happy. She slept better than she ever had. I have recommended this wrap to all my pregnant friends and so far 5 have bought it. Comfortable, light weight, easy to wear
Saved my life for the first 8 weeks! – I no longer use our sleepy wrap as being in the middle of summer my baby gets too hot and he already is prone to heat rash as it is. However it was the best $60 i have spent as it really did save me in the first 8 weeks as my little man was extremely fussy, always wanted to be held and cried furiously if I tried to put him down. We tried… Read more · 1
everything- electrical swing, bouncer, walks in the pram, car rides, warm bath, massage but the sleepy wrap seemed to be the only thing to settle him down. Later we did find out that he was suffering from acid reflux, so obviously the warmth of my body and closeness was soothing to him. I wore it for weeks, even when I was sleeping just in case he woke up hysterical (which did happen), unless it was in the wash! Also moving houses when he was 3 weeks old, would have been impossible without the sleepy wrap as I was able to have my hands free and a happy quiet baby all at once. I have never tried any other baby carriers so I do not have anything to compare the sleepy wrap to, but it is unbelievably comfortable to wear.
The only con, is that it does take a little while to tie up and to know how tightly to tie it so that bubs is in there securely but comfortably. Another con could be, when I was out with baby in the sleepy wrap I got A LOT of stares, attention and even people walking up to me to see what was inside! I didn't mind as I love to show off my little man and just ignored the stares, but if you do mind then just be aware of this when you use the sleepy wrap while out. Another potential con, is due to the 'feminine' look, my husband refuses to wear it. If your hubby is like this, then you will have to either give the sleepy wrap a miss or buy another one as well just for him.
The only thing i regret is not investing and buying two, as when one is in the wash you have a spare. I made the mistake of not doing that and it is quite stressful when it didn't dry in time (I don't have a dryer) and baby was being fussy. All in all, I love my sleepy wrap and have already recommended it to all my friends. Now I know what to buy for the next baby shower I go to. Soothing to a fussy baby and comfortable More effort and longer to tie and you get stares from people when out
The BEST thing I have bought so far for my baby – Although it can take a while to put this on properly and quickly, it was amazing. I have a colicky baby with bad reflux. He screamed and screamed on end from week 3 until week 6 when we discovered the sleepy wrap. He went to sleep within 5 mins and it has worked everytime. Can not recommend this highly enough. Washes very easily - just pop in… Read more
the machine - and if you are like us and can't wait for it to dry on the line - it doen't shrink or damage in the dryer. I got a male / femal nutral colour - grey but comes if heaps of colours. Costs $45 delivered - cheaper than hug-a-bub and more comfortable in my opinion. Can not rate this highly enough. Very reliable to get bubs to calm down and sleep. It is really comfortable to ar - even if you have a large 5kg baby at birth. it can get quite hot in summer but for winter - it was nice and toasty
Great wrap - essential item with a newborn! – I bought this second hand ($20) after ready some good reviews - chose it over the hug a bub as it seemed to do the same sort of thing at a much cheaper price. Many times when nothing else would settle bub she'd fall asleep within moments of going in this and sometimes sleep for hours! Loved that I could still do other things while wearing it as I… Read more
had my hands free. Not too expensive, comfortable for baby, easy to clean Learning to tie it (but didn't take long), only really used for 1st six weeks, not suitable now baby is heavier. Gets hot after a while.
Sleepy Wrap - Love it! – I bought this when my baby was 7 months and had a bad flu. It was perfect as he wanted to stay with me constantly and I was able to pop him in and continue working as both hands are free. I could also breastfeed with him in it and use it when he has trouble falling asleep and also when we are out. Very comfortable, easy to wear once you learn how,… Read more
offers great support and still use it now that my baby is nearly 1 year old. I wish I had this from the time he was born. Highly recommend it and far less expensive than hug a bub. Very comfortable, washes well, dries quickly, great support, great colours and the stretchy fabric allows baby to pop in and out easily and is closer to you than hug a bub and also cheaper too. Can be tricky to learn to tie.
A lifesaver! – I was very reluctant to pay $45+ for something that is essentially a stretchy piece of fabric, but when it became obvious that I had a very 'cuddly' baby (that is, can very rarely put her down, especially for day sleeps) I knew I would need to invest in some sort of carrier. With a newborn, the backpack style carriers are bit big and cumbersome,… Read more
and the Sleepy Wrap seemed worth a try. It has been a LIFESAVER - I have saved my shoulder and back considerable pain and discomfort. The Sleepy Wrap distributes the baby's weight beautifully, so you can barely tell she's there! Also, and most importantly, the baby settles and/or goes to sleep within a few minutes of being in there. When shopping the other day, the pram was just not cutting it, bub was crying up a storm. We put her in the Sleepy Wrap and 5 mins later she was out like a light.
It's a magical piece of equipment - my partner was even able to try on jeans when out shopping while bub slept peacefully in the wrap - amazing! It's much cheaper than the Hug a Bub wrap (which is nearly 3 times the price for pretty much the same thing), and comes in a massive range of colours (so picking something gender neutral so the dad feels comfortable wearing it is easy). Any difficulties learning how to use it or putting it on in public are far outweighed by the fact that I can cook, clean, shop, eat with both hands and with bub sleeping soundly. I would recommend this to ANYONE with a new baby; it works everytime! Cheap compared to other versions available, easy to wash, allows me to 'cuddle' and comfort bub while doing other things as you can have two hands free A bit difficult to get on the first few times, not that practical to put on anywhere but at home
A lifesaver for the first 3 months! – The best $45 spent especially when bub was newborn-3months. She was too small in our other carrier and did not feel comfy hence we bought the sleepy wrap. It takes a bit of practice to learn to tie the wrap and also how tight you need to do it up as there is a bit of stretch in the fabric. But once you get the hang of it, it's really easy and bub… Read more
is so comfy in it. We use it everytime she gets fussy and get calms down immediately and often falls asleep so quickly too. The wrap is also very useful to cover their heads/faces once they fall asleep. I've had so many people comment that she looks really comfortable in the wrap. It almost feels like she's nicely tucked inside your t-shirt, just like a part of you. Very comfortable for bub and me, distributes weight nicely across shoulders and waist. Easy to wash, have used it to mop up spew at times when outside. Very compact and easy to bring out. Much cheaper than other similar wraps. fiddly to put on at first, not as easy to put on when outside as have to be careful of long fabric ends going onto the floor. Too warm to use during summer.

Love this! – This sling is brilliant. When I first opened it up I was a little daunted by the amount of fabric that rolled out, but once you have a couple of go's trying to tie it, it is very easy. Getting bub in can be a little tricky if you have a squirmer, but in all its very comfortable to wear, and my baby always falls asleep in it. Be mindful the fabric… Read more
seems thick and bub can overheat if dressed too warmly or in summer. You do get an instruction booklet with it that demonstrates (with photos) all different wraps you can do for infants through to toddlers. My husband was willing to try it, but only got put off by the colour I chose (purple).. Very comfortable
Super comfy and great support! – I've got 5 kids and have tried lots of slings but the sleepy wrap is far better and i would never go back to strap/buckle carriers. Very easy to tie with a bit of practice, excellent support for baby as she grows and doesn't make my back hurt. Love it, absoluteley reccomend it and i think so would baby Ellie. Very comfy ans supportive and grows with baby. Nothing once you get used to wrapping/tieing it.
Good – Was recommended to me by my Osteopath. Love the Sleepy Wrap. Baby falls asleep in it every time and seems to like being so close to mum! Easy to wrap, good support for both mum and bub, comfortable to wear, stores easily when not in use, great for travelling without taking a bulky carrier. Can get hot in warm weather
OK – I was excited the first time i wore it as my newborn fell asleep instantly and i was able to get on with jobs. I wore it the next day to a shopping centre and he became very upset because it was so hot in this (even in the airconditioning). I havent worn it since, but i might try again in winter. Baby fell asleep quickly Leaves your hands free Far too hot for QLD (even in aircon) Too hard to put on
Excellent – I really love this wrap and only wish both of my children had been born earlier in the year (Aug & Sept) so I could get more use from it while they're little!! It is great to wear - very comfortable and the weight is evenly distributed. It always fits and even hides a few flaws. I carried my older son until he was almost one. I love the colours… Read more
and the ease of washing!! My sleepy wrap is constantly going through the wash after an overenthusiastic cuddle from my 2yr old during meal times!! lol It gets a little too hot here at times (45 degrees C today!) to use the wrap anywhere but inside in the air con, but I wont be taking bub anywhere in this heat anyway!!
Excellent – After trying many other carriers I could not live without it, wish I had it with my first son. Will buy one for anyone I know who's pregnant or has a little one. Best investment! Very comfortable to wear and comfortable for my 4 month old son too, he falls asleep in it every time! Great for going out in, I've been to parties with the wrap on, no… Read more
need to take pram & no problem finding a safe place to put him down to sleep he sleeps in the wrap. Also saved us money, we haven't needed to buy a double stroller to fit baby and 2 year old toddler. Very versatile with positions you can put bub in too. Easy to clean, throw in the washing machine. When my baby gets grumbly and I've got things to do, I just put him in the wrap and carry on. A sanity saver! Takes a couple of goes to get the hang of tying it, I found it easier to watch myself in the mirror when I practiced putting it on, but the beauty of the wrap is it doesn't matter what shape or size you are, it will fit.
Excellent – Buy it!! it was one of the BEST investments i made as a 1st time mother. i wore my 9mo old while i was 5m preggers and planted trees!!! -Colour variety -easy to wear -can have baby on back or front -leaves 2 hands free for cooking, washing....etc -nothing!!
Excellent – I love this wrap, my daughter lived in it for the first 4 months, I could wear her all day with no back or shoulder discomfort. Comfortable even post caesar. Can be a hassle to tie when out and about so I would pre-tie the wrap in the morning and just pop baby in and out during the day as needed, easy! Love it!! Fantastic, comfortable wrap. Easy… Read more
to wash, easy to pop baby in and out once the wrap is on. Cheap, great colours. I don't really dislike anything about this wrap. Takes a little while to learn to tie the sleepy wrap, but my 8 year old daughter learnt to tie it so an adult should be able to!
Excellent – Highly reccomend, very comfy, supportive for parent and baby, comfy post caeser too. Great colours, i have brown. I think it looks great too. Very comfortable to wear, supports well over shoulder and lower back so weight is evenly distributed. Stretchy fabric makes getting the perfect fit easy, unlike the Hug a Bub which you have to allow the… Read more
right amount of room for the baby to fit comfortably. Comfortable for baby/child to wear, wont dig in anywhere on their body. Can throw in the washing machine, and dries very fast. I personally don't dislike anything about it, though it takes a couple of goes to get the tying method down pat, but this is easy once you have done it a couple of times. Check out youtube for demos. The hardest thing is putting it on in public, as it takes a minute, and due to the length, it can drag on the floor, but this happens with all 'wraps' not specific to the Sleepy Wrap.
Excellent – I love it, best carrier I've ever used. It feels like a tshirt & is so comfortable, I can wear all day & not have back or shoulder pain. My bub loves it and instantly falls asleep and can sleep for ages. This would be one thing I can not survive without Cheap, comfortable to wear, great for bub, helps bub sleep & soothes when upset Was a little… Read more
tricky at first, but after two attempts I had the hang of it. Before I got the sleepy wrap I watched some clips on youtube and referred to the hugabub instructions (same concept) and it wasn't too hard
Excellent – l love this wrap! l have used several types of carriers and have found this to be the best on my shoulders and back even after a few hours. it did take awhile at start to learn to tie it, and still takes awhile each time you want to put it on, so it is a matter of being prepared before you go out! it always sends bubs to sleep and holds him very… Read more
close which is lovely. easy to store, sends my bub to sleep, can carry any sized baby, one size fits all ~ no need to adjust straps for hubby!!, easy to clean difficult to learn to tie initially, takes awhile to tie on
