Excellent customer service
Hello, I was there with daughter and granddaughter, I’d like to say thankyou to the lady that took her time to sit my granddaughter on her lap, measure her little feet.
Nothing was to much trouble for her, I’m just sorry I didn’t get her name.
Well thanks very much from us, we brought two pairs of shoes and a little outfit.
We will definitely be back again.
Terrible customer service
At the Perth Pregnancy, Baby and Children's expo in August I spoke with one of the staff, she showed me the iCandy Orange, as I was interested in a pram I could convert to tandem.
She told me they had 2 demo models to sell that weekend, of which she'd already sold one, and if I wanted to purchase today I would be able to pick it up at 4pm on the Sunday. Which is what I did.
It was not ready for collection on the Sunday and the staff member said she would call the next day to confirm when they could deliver it.
By 4pm Monday I had not heard fr...om anyone at Babyroad. I phoned them and spoke with their customer service. She organised for the pram to be delivered Thursday afternoon after 1pm. At 10:42am on the Thursday, I missed a call and then received a text message from the original sales lady to let me know "I have no room on the truck for your pram today and I don't want it damaged because it's not boxed. I can have it delivered to you tomorrow morning if that suits you". When I phoned her back she said their lovely rep would deliver it the next morning. I wasn't able to be home to which she then offered delivery on the Sunday, a week after it was supposed to be available for collection. I told her I would now collect the pram that day, the Thursday, as I had already been without a pram for a week. I also asked for a manger to be present. She then informed me SHE is the floor manager.
Poor customer service and no price match
I checked their website to see if they price matched which they do, there are conditions. The item I was purchasing natch all the required conditions they stated and after driving 40mins they refused to.
The lady was lovely until i asked about price matching and then she become less than helpful and when I was told no I asked why and she became extremely rude. Her response was we need to make a profit so we cant do that price. It was over $100 price difference so I think they were making more than a little profit.
Great range of products and excellent customer service
Babyroad have a great range of baby items, the nursery room displays are great, helps you visulise what you are looking for and choose what will work in your nursery. The staff are very helpful and were able to deliver evrything to my home.
$35 fee for afterpay on sales items, what's the point of a sale. False advertising! Not really a SALE then is it!
so expensive $35 fee, like don't offer afterpay at all or absorb it in your price, this is false advertising.
I can't believe a company has a fee like this, it's like a bank just out to suck you dry!
There is a reason for all the negative reviews!
They trade on being a 'family owned' company which means nothing really when the only family they care about is their own!
Absolutely terrible customer service beyond belief. Ourselves and our friends and family will never set foot in your store again and I hope others take this onboard as well. We now shop at Baby Bunting, excellent customer service and no hassles if you have an issue with your product.
Stay away people....
Store has a large range of baby items but is overpriced. Even on sale it is cheaper online or at other baby stores. Staff members are rude, unhelpful and condescending. I try shopping here because I want to support local businesses but the staff have made it a terrible experience. I always feel belittled and small after going to the store. I would recommend going elsewhere for your baby needs.
Car seat warranty
We bought a car seat from them in 2013. Unfortunately the air cushions need replacing so called them to confirm a purchase date as we couldn't find our receipt (no excuse we should have kept it in a safe place). The lady that answered was extremely rude. Saying she only keeps records for 12 months. In this technology generation it is unacceptable.I reckon she was just plain lazy. I hated going to the store in 2013 and it seems as though nothing has changed!
had no problems
I went to Babyroad on the weekend and the staff were nothing but courteous and helpful. I needed a lay-by changed and they were very helpful in doing that for me. My only whinge is is that you cannot lay-by the baby clothes but if that is their policy that is their policy !!!
Buying things for your bubs is supposed to be really fun, but not at Babyroad. They always look lile they are busy and not attedning to you.i still went there cos of their larger variety, but i dont think so anymore.just wish the saff wpuld make u smile instead of cause extra stress.just my 2 cents.
Rude staff - Terrible Service!
My parents in law were watching my son while
I was with another staff member. Unknown to me a miserable & rude staff member just couldn't stop following them around and staring at them waiting for any opportunity to tell them off if my 2 year old son touched something. It's a frigging kids shop for Christ sake. Of course kids will touch things! Never was anything dropped or tampered with to warrant any kind of abuse. Extremely rude attitude & made them very uncomfortable. Absolutely pathetic!
I saw a toy piano on sale on their website and went over to get it with my toddler. Could not find it in the store so asked one of the staff. She was unbelievably rude. She said there is no such product in the store. They failed to explain or apologize for the mistake. And showed me a double priced toy piano. It felt to me they look down at you and have this perception that you can't afford to purchase the items in the store. There was one time I asked if the toy sale was over and when is the next one but was met with a sneer. Not going back.
Over priced and rude
I have never experienced such rudeness from a store. My mum went in after Christmas to swap a shirt from 000 to 00, it was in original condition with tags and had her credit card statement as proof of purchase. The salesperson said they don't accept returns or refunds on sale items (not purchased on sale, and also against the law). We tried to tell the lady we didn't want our money back, just wanted to swap sizes. She wouldn't listen and we left. I called the manager to complain as my mother was near tears after the way the salesperson spoke do...wn to her and unfortunately the manager was even ruder to me. I posted my opinion on their Facebook page and they responded with more passive aggressive tones and then deleted it and blocked me. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend shopping here if after sales care is high on your priorities list. There are better companies around that actually care about their customers.
Excellent store & staff
I was in there today and my 18 month old was running riot and the ladies were so so lovely they told me not to worry about the million things she was pulling off the shelf and were so helpful with looking at prams. I had never been there before and couldn't believe the range of quality brands they stocked, heaps of really gorgeous gift ideas and room decor in addition to the usual baby stuff. Can't wait to go back!
My favorite baby shop out of all the ones in Perth. They may not be the cheapest but the staff are friendly and unlike other baby shops the staff here are actually knowledgeable and know what they are talking about. Good range of products.
Very happy customer and will return again
I ordered furniture & waited 3 months & still did not receive my items! There was no contact or follow up from Babyroad at all during this process - lack of communication & poor customer service!
I Will not be buying or visiting Babyroad - there are 2 other baby stores in the area which are much better & tick all the boxes.
So i recently ordered 2 car seats from babyroad and they were delivered on time but i paid the delivery fee for them to be brought to my address and being a single mother with no help and no car access at the moment, i was forced to go pick them up myself n walk down there with two young kids because i was told they cant come back a second time to deliver the seats even though i wasnt home at the time and they never contacted me with a time window or anything so i feel like ive wasted my time n money with them, if i had the car i would of absolutely gone n picked them up at babyroad myself. Not happy with the service.
Disgusting and utterly rude staff!!
I travelled 2hrs to Babyroad to buy a stroller and received absolutely disgusting service from a arrogant woman in their store! I certainly will not be returning to Babyroad or recommending anyone to them again!! I asked politely for a price match/discount and was given a huge mouthful and then the assistant proceeded to demand I pay a $50 "consultants fee" for the time I had spent "wasting her time"!! I took my business next door to Baby Bunting and got the service and price I was looking for!
