Bamboozle

The installation was a nightmare – Ordered for our stairs and first floor,The installation were promised in the beginning to be completed in 2 days. The installer started the job 2 days late because he was stuck in the other project. (Because of this, we rescheduled our other flooring). Left the house full of dust without cleaning. Took 2 and half weeks to complete the job. The company didn’t take any responsibility for the delay and mess left.

walls, new kitchens and bathrooms. We simply cannot believe how well these floors have weathered the "tradie" storm during renos.

Once reno was finished we decided we didn't want carpets so went back for second shot at replacing carpets in three bedrooms and office. The whole experience was wonderful and a great decision. We compare our experience to other people we know that went for cheaper alternatives and there is no comparison. My young brother did a reno and had board put in by a major floor (carpet) retailer and it was a disaster. Instal was rough. BUT worse as the seasons changed his boards expanded and buckled !

last year (2013) we decided to renovate and extend our home and I contacted Bamboozle as I had new areas of flooring required adjacent to the old. This time they REALLY impressed me. They not only did their best to hand select boards from their batches that best matched the aged boards in the rest of the house, but they also searched to find as many boards as they could in the original width (they use a wider board these days) for the most visible areas. The installation team were friendly, professional and courteous and I felt like the whole experience was so much better than I'd even expected.

The new floors look fantastic and I couldn't be happier, so I felt it only fair that I write this testimonial for them. Professional company. Excellent quality, durable and attractive product. I had no bad experience either time I used them.

Beauty hides the devil within – When the floor was laid we could not have been happier. We had prefinished boards installed in a new home before wall painting. The installing tradesman done a great job. We chose this floor for a couple of reason 1) the claims of scratch resistance and ease of replacement of damaged boards. 2) No dust. in various places. Bamboozle accepted that the floor boards had failed but since there was so many they couldn't be replaced and would have to be sanded and refinished (bang goes the no dust theory and easy to replace claim) The result was terrible and we had damage to paintwork around the doors and the same beading was used rather than new stuff. We now have fibres, sand, spreadmarks and sanding drum marks in the floor. Bamboozle claimed I signed away my rights of recourse about these matters but could not provide any signed documents at the commision hearing. The resurface is now lifting and cracking around the contaminants in the surface but they have refused to acknowledge it. Just waiting to get the money together for another court case.

They acknowledge their product is more expensive than others but claim they will follow through with all issues. This is not the case. they are just as bad as many others in this industry.

People claim it's just a floor but believe you me, when you pay top dollar for a product you feel gutted when it looks no better (in fact worse) than a cheap click system from bunnings.

Avoid Avoid Avoid! Great when first laid but now looks cheap and unprofessional. Expensive and shocking warranty service. Too much time spent in small claim courts.

flooring went in and instantly transformed it. We also combined timber treads on the stairs with tiled risers and of the many features within the house, the stairs are one of the best. Bamboozle were able to install a transparent and almost invisible non-slip material to the tread nosings to comply with codes. We didn't have to spoil the look with a coloured strip. The installation team were friendly and very professional and worked in with the tilers and glass balustrade trades.

after 5 years, still love them – From display centre to installation we felt totally confident with our decision. Installation of our Bamboozle floors was efficient and tidy. I couldnt believe the trouble the installer went to place the flooring in the smallest of gaps in my walk in robe and under stair storage area. Attention to detail was impressive. Fantastic product – I had my Bamboo floor laid about 8 years ago and absolutely love it, so easy to maintain, I just run a damp mop over it and it always looks so shiny. I recently had a tradesman come in and he commented " what a lovely floor has it just been installed ". Having previously had ceremic tiles on the floor I wouldn't have anything else but Bamboozle flooring. I would highly recommend them for their product and service.

I dont know why people say bamboo floor is durable – We have bamboozle floor, it is very stressful because we are always worried about scratches.
