My 2021 Aston Martin was sold to me as a demonstrator with 2,000 kms yet was delivered with around 40% more kilometres They also forgot to tell me that two weeks before my purchase it had a Brand New V8 engine replacement (approx $68,000) amongst other issues. ‍♂️ This is not only deceptive but constitutes a breach of the Australian Consumer… Read more

I am currently in litigation with Barbagallo Perth, a representative of Aston Martin, and am in the process of commencing legal proceedings against Aston Martin (Australia and/or Head Office).

Terrible customer service from Barbagallo & Aston Martin.

No ethics, money is all that matters – There is no doubt that their main concern is to suck as much money out of clients as they can. Every service is the same, a huge bill and list of “necessary” actions that makes you wonder, do the minions get some sort of bonus ehen the billing exceeds a certain ammount? Theres no ethics here or real service mentality. Worth talking to ex service… Read more

employees from Barbagallos, they freely admit what goes on in the ferrari service area, as well as with other Marques. Luckily there are other options in perth now so client by client they will lose business because people just wont accept being ripped off so blatantly. Not sure if any of these guys have a conscience, but we have just bought a 2019 SUV through a dealer in Sydney, thats just over $300k that barbagallos wont see because they wanted to squeeze an extra few thousand every year at service time.

Look for a different Land Rover Mechanic – I use to have my car serviced at Barbagellos. However, after paying for it to be serviced , I went down South for a much needed holiday. I did not even reach the town I was heading for the car broke down. I had to have it towed to the town. I stayed a couple of days in the town but had no car which ruined my holiday.I got my car towed back to… Read more

Perth.I went to a different mechanic. One of the new hoses that had been put on had not been connected properly. The new mechanic fixed it free of charge.

Terrible – I got a flat battery and Barbagallos authorised persons replaced my battery at my expense. When replacing the car battery the service provider reset the computer damaging my electronic keys. So I can not longer use them as electronic and was told best I revert to manual or I had to pay $3500 for new electronic keys. It was the agent of barbagallo that reset the computer not ME. Should they not be responsible for the damage they caused.

Volvo repairs owned by Barbagallo - terrible! – WARNING! Do not use this company for car repairs. We have had the worst experience we have ever had with any car service company. It has cost us thousands of dollars in car hire and taxis. We left our Volvo with the Volvo service team in Osborne Park in January. It is now the end of May and we just received another call to say our car is not… Read more

ready. The engine repairs were not minor but nothing requires 4 months - surely. During this time, the guy who was looking after our car went on holiday and our calls weren't responded to - then he left the business and we were passed to another man called [Name Removed] who has promised us several dates for collection only to call to arrange a time (having returned our hire car) only to be told there are further delays. I'm not sure what to do in this instance - it's not like I can go and take our car, as it is in pieces. More than a month ago I spoke to the staff there and threatened to contact the police and still I have no car. They now say it is going to be ready next week and have offered me a $500 reduction on a $9k bill. Disgusted.

Customer service – If I could rate a minus I would. Their customer service is appalling. They are totally arrogant. Their service center for Volvo is something you’d come across in a third world country. I strongly suggest that they spend some time with the John Hughes team who actually know how to treat customers no matter what, that’s how he became the most successful car dealer in WA maybe even in Australia.  Show details

Awful customer service from U.K. very staff member so far – I bought a new discovery sport 15 months ago. No spare key was provided. I was told it would be dropped off. After multiple calls, emails, visits (to the showroom and the servicing department and the same answer ‘I’ll get into it and get back to you (never happens) I emailed yesterday to ask again for my key. Yesterday my 17 month locked… Read more

himself in the car in 30° heat. 5 mins of him trying to unlock with the key fob, alarms went off and he was panicking. I had to smash a window with a hammer to get him out. I called to order a new window. Explained the situation. I’m fully aware it is not barbagellos fault he locked the door. Or, I had to break the window. It IS their responsibility I couldn’t use the spare however. I asked to use a courtesy car as I cannot park mine or use it until fixed. ‘I’ll get onto it and get back to you’.

Again, nothing.

Quality people in Workshop – I’ve been going to Manny P.@Manager Barbagellos for several years now. Rather than get swept up in some of these reviews, I have,on the whole, had a very positive experience. Quoted $8500 worth of repairs that were not required at all. Total thieves – Bought a preowned S/C V8 Range Rover Sport, I got Barbagallo to look it over. They quoted $8500 repairs. I took it to three other places and all stated-absolutely none of the repairs were required. And the horrific customer service was an embarassment. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the plague!!!!

Went above and beyond – After a disappointing experiencing with their tyre division Barbagallo went above and beyond to ensure my total satisfaction. service experience. The details of what happened are far less important than what was done afterwards. After explaining what had happened to the business owner not only was the issue addressed I was provided with 4 new tyres at no charge. My new tyres were fitted today and the staff issue had been well and truly 'fixed'! Many companies would of only handed out an empty apology however, to provide such a tangible and significant 'make good' and to follow through to make sure that what was promised is delivered shows that this is one company that is genuinely serious about customer service. No business is perfect and there are always issues, the most important thing is how far they are prepared to go to keep the customer satisfied. Good on you Barbagallo's.

I ca not believe the mechanic for alpha romeo has not once called me – Service with Alpha Romeo, absolutely appalling to a point I am going to seek compensation, my mothers car was taken into service because the transmission wasn't going into gear, with 8 days the car had transmission fluid poring out, I have waited nearly 4 months, [name removed] the mechanic for Alpha Romeo supposedly fixed this issue, after… Read more

I've waited nearly 15 plus weeks and this has cost me on rental vehicles etc.

Excellent Sales Service – I live in NSW and purchased a very expensive 2016 Range Rover Sport SDV8 from Ryan Haggerty the sales manager at Barbagello in WA. They had this car at a very reasonable & fair price which is what attracted me to it in the first place. Ryan was very approachable and very fair in his dealing with me and we agreed on a price that we were both happy… Read more

with. From that point on Ryan organised everything and made me feel at ease purchasing a vehicle sight unseen from the other side of Australia. This is something that I have not done before or probably not do again. I had the car independently inspected and Ryan fixed everything that I asked for (mostly minor) very promptly. He then organised for the car to be shipped (included in price) to my home address in NSW. I looked up the history of the car on the Landrover OSH (Onlilne Service History) and confirmed that the car was in excellent condition and that it had no reported incidents or warranty work done to it & had a clean bill of health as Ryan stated. Suffice to say that I am very happy with the car when I finally got to inspect & drive it & really impressed with the car as a whole (so far). And an even greater surprise when I received in the mail an extra years Landrover warranty on the car for free from Barbagello that expires in 2021.

I know that there are many negative reviews here but in my personal dealings with Barbagello (Ryan) I can only say that it was nothing but a positive experience.

Dishonest and very poor service – Once you spend near $100k on a car they don't want to know or hear from you again. Unbelievably bad service – I bought a Fiat 500 from Barbagallo three years ago. I like my car, but I’ve had to take it back to them several times with the same fault - oil on the spark plugs. Fix oil leak, well attempt – After the car was serviced I was informed the sump plug needed to be replaced so I booked it in for the repair to be done. I was informed it would take 3 hours as the oil pan, cover and seal all needed to be replaced. After 4,5 hours I phoned to see if the car was ready to be picked up. Only after I got back to the Service Centre I was informed… Read more

that they hadn't been able to carry out the repair as they didn't have everything they needed! You would think it would have been common courtesy to at least inform me about this a bit earlier on rather than have me waste a whole day? On top of that they said I would have to wait a week for the parts to come in from the Eastern States! If I order something from the UK I receive it in 3 days. Of course they should have ordered the parts before making the booking. I had a funny feeling when I took the car in in the morning and was asked where it was leaking oil. Mmm, underneath the engine at the front of the car?

So at the end of all that I left with a car that was still leaking oil big time.

I'm not sure what I was more angry about, the sheer incompetence or the total lack of customer service. My advice? Go somewhere else unless you're a sucker for punishment that is and I haven't even gone into the somewhat fishy smelling quote......

Never again – Attempted to look at car at Osborne Park dealership, was told the car I was interested in was on long term loan to a family friend of the owner. Went to Cannington, had everything ready to spend 100k, then had to deal with the finance guy who spoke to me like I was an idiot and the accused me of lying about my financial situation. Great cars, poor service. Will never go there again

Poor customer service – Called the parts department to ask the price for supplying and fitting of suspension parts. Girl on the phone said she would get someone to call me back. Three weeks later, still waiting. Feel hesitant about having my Jaguar serviced there now. Maybe Roadbend or Wilf Chambers will provide better service.

Barbagallo - Expensive Expensive Expensive – I called them & ask for diagnostic check on my Skoda Superb. They said its $180 one of fee to check it. Lol. Other dealers charge by per hour. if they spend half a hour then they will charge accordingly. Luckily I did not go there & went to RAC & only small adjustment has to be done which they did. RAC provide free diagnostic every year if you are a member.

Goldfish have a better memory – The service centre staff lack one key component "Service" they take no responsibility, don't follow up with clients then when questioned they run to a manager to deal with the client. For a dealership that sells luxury cars they need to provide a luxury service to clients. They fail each time I have dealt with them. Customer Service Training?

They lie about service intervals – They lie about how often you have to get your car serviced to get you to go more often and spend more money. My car has factory advised intervals of 1 year or 15,000 kms. Barbagallo routinely call me every 6 months and tell me it is overdue for a service. They also list 6 months or 10,000km in the service log which is not correct. I only know… Read more

Not interested – Went there on a recent weekend near closing time but with half an hour to spare. Sales people were busy parking the cars so they could go home on time. Wanted to look at one of the new Alfas or Skodas but was so up off by the poor attitude and poor quality of the cars, I walked. Guess the dealership do not need common folk like us as they are supported by the ultra rich who buy the flashy cars so why even bother to sell cars less than $100k.?

Misleading / false advertising and bad maintenance – 2013 VW Scirocco advertised on line as 6144kms. Odometer reading is not displayed permanently as you need to scroll through the menu which means the actual kms is not visible at a glance, this is a feature of the vehicle so is not the issue. All documentation that I was given copies of also had 6144kms as the vehicles total distance travelled… Read more

however when I drove the vehicle home and had time to work out how all the technology in the vehicle operated I discovered the true kms of the vehicle to be approx 9400kms. The vehicle was sold as a demo so when comparing to other low km demo's the additional 3300kms can make the difference to buying it or not.

When I brought this up with the salesman he advised that there was another document that I had signed to transfer the registration which displayed the true kms so too bad; I should have noticed when signing.

Prior to all this the dealer advised that they would prepare the vehicle for pick up the next day.

Preparation appeared to be making the tyres shiny and a vacuum as the next day I discovered the engine oil on minimum! and the 1st vehicle service 7 months overdue; and this is from a car company that is apparently a VW dealer, amongst others.
