Adam Leighton was great. He told us what we needed to know. He also suggested to us available options of Toyota Hilux and we chose the one we wanted and are happy with the purchase. Overall, salesmen at Westside Auto are way better than pushy salesmen in other car dealers we had been to.

BMW X3 purchase
I bought a BMW X3 from Westside Auto Wholesale and the professionalism and service was excellent. They organize everything including transport from WA to Adelaide. When the car arrived it was everything that they claimed. When I realized that the User Manual was for a sedan they sent me the correct one. I recommend them without hesitation.
Brought a double cab Ute with pre existing electrical problem that we found out the hard way. Has been at there machanic for over 8 weeks with only contact made after we call asking. 16 weeks now with one car 2 adults and 4 kids. They have made no effort to help out just told us they can’t find the problem so come pick it up. They sold us a lemon with the paper work from previous owner and mechanical work previously tried on it with no luck
Pepper finance scam
Westside auto has a finance broker. Do not go to him [name removed] is very sneaky telling me he would match loans.com.au in their fees for brokerage of finance. This was a lie upon picking up my car he stitched me up with a $990 broker service fee. A ridiculously high amount of money for a simple service I could have done my self.
Conclusion Westside auto has great cars and you will get a good price but stay away from the finance department.
I recently purchased a Toyota Kluger 2018 from Westside Auto. There was a loud wearing noise when travelling 60 and over. The car was inspected by Toyota who informed me it was chewed out tyres and to contact westside immediately. I took the car to their recommended service mechanic who informed me that 3 tyres needed replacing immediately and he will forward claim to Westside. I have just been informed by Wayne at warranty that they will not replace 2 of the tyres and this is not covered under warranty even though it was their recommended mech...anics that told me they should be covered by Westside. Westside claim to have just serviced the car but nothing is in the service book regarding damaged tyres even though part of the service criteria is tyre inspection.

STAY AWAY!!!! especially from their Extended Warranty & Finance
Stay away and do not even think about it!!!! They are very pushy to sell you their (extended warranty- use their finance) pushy to the point they might delay/deny the sale or surprisingly increase the sale price if you refuse to buy their services.
Once I had a problem with the car, The salesman ([name removed]) stopped answering my (phone calls- text messages or emails) after so many attempts, he sent me a message saying (I do not know who this is, ring Westside and ask to speak to a manager) however, during the sale, there were many promise...s that if anything goes wrong, just give him ring or a text and he will get is sorted straight away. Warning, do not fall for their “extended warranty”” or “finance” they are all the same company and they are scam, both extended warranty or (kacare, AWN) and finance (pepper) are run by Westside auto. They will harass you, to buy their extended warranty, I had a problem with the warranty that I live in a regional area and I do not want to be limited to certain mechanics if something happens which they confirmed to me that it is not the case and I just drive anywhere and get my car fixed and they will cover it which was not the case, when I had a problem with the car and rang them and the lady on the phone insisted that I have to drive 450km to get my car checked because I need to go to “their” authorised mechanic. When I told her that is not what I was told before buying it, she said exactly these words ( Westside auto salesmen will tell you anything to sell you the warranty but it does not make it true, you had to read the fine prints). Later on, I had a total-loss car accident, and I was eligible to claim the rest of the 3 years extended warranty money as you get charged on a pro rata. It took them more than 8 weeks to sort it out. Just passing me to each other between Kacare and Westside auto, [name removed] (Kacare claim manager) and [name removed] (Westside auto Warranty manager). They were intentionally wasting my time FOR EIGHT WEEKS!!!! and wanted me to give up on my money.
Toyota Landcruiser Prado Purchase
My partner and I live in Kalgoorlie, we found my Prado online. Called salesman Adam Leighton he was fantastic from the start to the finish. The car was exactly what we wanted and Adam was great to deal with and he also helped with sourcing transportation from Bentley to Kal. We will definitely be back to buy a second car! At 6 pm on a Friday I booked a test drive on a car for $33,588. By 8 am on the Saturday, Westside Auto had jacked the price by $1,000. I called the dealer and they assured me I could have it for the cheaper price. I then drove to the dealer only to be told the car was $34,000. When I protested, the reply was 'we sell ten of these a day' and 'take it or leave it'. I took the much sought after car but nonetheless contacted the ACCC with screenshots of the vehicle’s price at the time of the booking the test drive and the price after booking the te...st drive (also attached to this review). They advised me to contact the dealer and if I had no luck, to enlist the help of Consumer Protection. I asked Westside Auto to honour the original price. They ignored my correspondence, so accordingly, I contacted Consumer Protection, and they acted on my behalf. Westside Auto remained steadfast, replying too bad, and attempted to justify the price hike on an ‘expensive’ service. How miraculous that someone from Westside Auto had the presence of mind to jack the price between 6 pm on a Friday when I booked the test drive and 8 am the next morning to account for said ‘service’. They can gold plate the engine and increase the price for a million dollars for all I care, but to jack the price after I book the test drive AND to assure me on the phone I can have it for the cheaper price but then RENEGE in person is misleading, greedy and unfair.
Sold my car in Victoria to Tom Kempton at Westside in WA and couldn't have been an easier experience. I was dubious at first of dealing with someone sight unseen interstate but everything worked smoothly from money into my account to the truck being organised.

Some time ago my family and I went to your dealership to purchase a car and whilst there we were approached with rudeness, swearing and abuse. The contract was terminated because of this and we bought a new car elsewhere.
