Adorable kidswear! – I've been shopping with Bardot for years and recently made an order with Bardot Junior for my niece's birthday and the happiness on her face...as soon as she unpacked the dress...was priceless! Would definitely recommend this for kidswear. Show details ·  1

Lack of flexibility in this current economic climate – Make sure you use your own credits within their narrow time frame. Even if it's a couple of weeks past they're not flexible or reasonable. They will happily take your money with nothing in return.

Terrible – Jumped onto the Bardot Junior website looking for a dress for my child. Cannot help but notice every dress is either very short, has cut outs or is infantile. A couple of photos were even inappropriately revealing-like an upper thigh bum cheek showing! Why?? It is disturbing! I don’t understand why this is so, my teen said she would never wear a… Read more

dress that short, and she didn’t like the website at all. It gave us the creeps! On principle we will no longer shop with Bardot Junior. Young people don’t need over sexualisation, they need confidence and support.

Bardot are THIEVES – I'm not the first person to comment here and say that I have ordered items that they said that they have dispatched and then I did not receive. In this case, 6 items were ordered and only 3 received. They then told me that their dispatch records say that all items were dispatched and they will not be refunding. There were only three of the six items ordered. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. READ THE REVIEWS.

Terrible products for price – Purchased a girls fur coat direct from store. Received the coat with missing buttons and loose threads. Won’t be purchasing from this store in the future as returns service is a pain and product quality is a let down.

Poor quality and terrible returns service – Very Poor quality with unfinished seams and waiting weeks for a refund. Item was received by the company 14 days ago and still not processed. Won’t be purchasing from here again .

Returns process too complicated – Returns process involves too many steps, none of which are straightforward. Need to obtain a return number and write it on the returns form, but returns form doesn't exist - they mean the tax invoice. Way too many steps. cant be bothered ordering from here again. also 14 days not enough time for turnaround.

Horrible after Sales and Service – If I could give minus stars, I would. I was very happy when I found Bardot junior to see how stylish designs there were for babies. I bought a lot of clothes online. I didn’t like 3-4 items from my order so went back to return at emporiom store in Melbourne. First of all 2 ladies that were managing had 0 sense of customer service as they would… Read more

treat you like they’re doing charity although charity people too would behave nicely. They’ve got the worst customer service ever. I was told that I can’t return the items for refund and all I can get is store credit. When I looked at other things to use that credit, they didn’t have the sizes I wanted. The day I placed the order, the same items went on discount just 2 days after and I asked them if they can atleast honor that discount and return the remaining amount, Their answer was that I’ll have to return those items to online store and when they receive it they’ll process credit note and then I can place fresh order. Are you serious??? I asked if I’ll still be able to get the sizes I have in hand when all this is done and they said they can’t assure me and it’s only valid till offer and stock lasts. So pretty much they told me that all the money that I have paid belongs to Bardot junior no matter if I get what I paid for and If I have to make sure I get everything I wanted then I can place a fresh order straightaway to make sure I get everything which means that I block my previous money also and pay them more as well. I have been never come across such a bad customer service ever before in Australia. It was clear that this company doesn’t care about its customers or losing them. My advise to all others would be to either stay clear of this store or be 100% sure about sizes and their shopping or any other issues before giving them your money cause once it’s out of your pocket, it’s their and would never come back irrespective of what your issue is.

Also, I ordered a jacket whose buttons looked like would come off just after first use and it’s a $89.99 jacket for a 6 month old baby. Shame on you Bardot junior for ripping people off like this. Your asking for ridiculous prices and giving nothing in return to your customers. You guys should be banned from this market.

Loose thread and missing beads – I ordered over $400 worth of size 12 girls clothing. Upon removing it from the plastic I noticed the playsuit had a long loose thread and beads missing. I cant believe nobody checked that and happily sent that out to a customer. When I wrote them and email with images they told me to go into my nearest store or mail it back. Never have the right sizes, very poor returns policy – This company has pushed me to do post my first review, and it isn't complementary. We had a wedding to attend. I had to go to several stores to find the sizes that were needed. This company does not transfer stock from one store to another, so you, as the customer have to do all the running around. Even the premium baby brands do everything… Read more

to help get what you need when you need it, and Bardot's clothes are not what I would call premium, they just look cool.

Shopped there again this weekend for a birthday party outfit. They didn't have the size I was after so I bought a bigger size and some other things. Tried them on, the pants were far too big and the other items didn't suits. So I visited the store today to swap a size and return some goods. So they don't do returns or refunds! But no one explained that to me at the time. I was not going to leave the store without an exchange and refund. The store kindly processed the exchange and refund. I was told they have this policy due to hygiene, but I said people are in the store touching the clothes all day, so how's that for hygiene.

I will never shop there again, this company is run by crooks.

Don't shop at Bardot Marion – Purchased three pairs of girls genes 2 days ago, in the hope that one would fit my granddaughter. I asked the young girl at the counter about returns and was told there was no refund on sale items, as one pair was on sale. We kept one pair, and today I went to the store to return the other two. I acknowledged that I would exchange the sale item,… Read more

and asked for a refund on the other. Well the woman behind the counter came at me like a rabid dog, I was told in no uncertain terms that I wasn't getting a refund. No point stating your case here you won't win. I still have the other pair of genes I wasn' t giving that woman the satisfaction of giving me a credit note. I will ring customer care and see how I go there, will never shop at Bardot again!

Staff behaviour at Westfield Marion Bardot Junior does not endear me to the Bardot brand! – I purchased an item on Thursday (late night shopping) on 1st March 2018. I had seen it online first and on that day went into the Westfield Marion store to find it. I was approached by a young girl who showed me where it was. I said I needed it for my 5 year old girl and that it was much smaller than it seemed online (says one size on the tags… Read more

and on the online store). She assured me and her words verbatim were "it should fit a 5 year old but if it doesn't you have 14 days to get a refund". This alleviated my doubt so I bought it.

Today, 5 days later, along with my receipt, tags attached and the item in perfect condition, I went in to have the money refunded because upon trying it on my girl I could see it was not fit for anyone older than about 1 year of age. I went in on my business time to ensure I got it back within 14 days.

I approached a woman working behind the counter with shoulder length blonde hair working there (I'd say mid 50's-60 in age at a guess), and she immediately pointed out the stores returns conditions and said I could NOT have a refund. This was despite the wrong advice I was given by the shop assistant last Thursday night, despite me explaining that the young girl from Thursday night assured me it was "One size fits all and should fit a 5 year old" and despite the fact she mentioned there could be a "refund". I maintained that I wanted the money refunded. I did not want to be coerced into settling for something I did not need nor have to spend more.

My response that I wanted a refund because under Australian Consumer Law I was verbally given the wrong information for the intended purpose of the item but also that verbally I had been sold the item on the expectation that if it was not right, I could be refunded. Also under Australian Consumer Law, anything verbal is contractual.

What really riled me up, was that her response was that in no way would her staff member (who was in the toilet at the time) tell me any of that. I asked her if she was insinuating I was a liar. Her response was rude, she raised her voice repeatedly causing me to also raise mine and said "well you'll have to wait for her to return so I can ask her what was said".

When the young girl returned from her toilet break, she denied ever talking to me about the fit of the beanie and said she never said I could have a refund. This angered me as I felt ambushed by both staff and made to look like a liar and a fool when in fact I believe the young girl was protecting herself from being in trouble. After making a scene in front of other customers over the whole thing the older woman said she would in fact refund the money and took my card. I cannot understand why I was put through all this if she would have done that in the first place. The whole thing was not handled at all well, I was dealt poor treatment and all in all this is bad business practice.

To add insult to injury, upon me signing the refund receipt, she couldn't help keep the argument going and asked me to re write my name, she said "write that again as it's illegible"!. It was NOT illegible. This added to my displeasure as I felt my writing WAS completely legible. I said "come on, you can read that, it is in English", left my number and walked out with her yelling at me that she needed my surname. I did not leave my surname as I felt a phone number was adequate and I felt I had endured enough rubbish from her already. Also, I have made returns to other stores without needing my full address, surname etc. For me full details is a breach of my privacy and I am not required to leave them when I purchase an item to begin with.

I will never shop at Bardot again.

Love every shopping trip!! – I'm in love with this store, in here quite often both and online and in-store. Always has great offers and beautiful dresses for average prices. Furthermore, their clothing is made of very rich material and my children have never… Read more

Avoid!! – First of all, it is nearly impossible to enter the store with a pram, and they have the baby clothes at the back of the store! That sort of says it all about the incompetence of the staff. I managed to squeeze in to buy a gift for my niece recently. When I got home I noticed the alarm was still attached to one of the items. Anyway, the outfit… Read more

didn't fit and I decided to go back and exchange it for something else. It was a $15 gap, which they couldn't refund - I had to buy additionally something else I didn't need or want!! I pointed out that the items I bought wasn't on sale and that at least I should get a store credit- but no, she then changed her mind and said one of my items was an accessory which is why she couldn't give me a store credit. I will never go back and would recommend everyone to avoid this store. Overall the quality is poor and doesn't match the high prices.

Avoid Bardot Junior – My 11 year old purchased a cardigan what wasn't appropriate for a formal occasion. Incompetent staff – I purchased a sale item as a gift. I asked for the return policy and was told I could recieve a store credit but no refund. Called customer support and they spoke to the store I visited. They then told me that… Read more

their staff are in training so may have made a mistake but they can't give me a credit. Even though it was their mistake. They've lost a customer due to such a small issue. They weren't losing out in any way by giving me store credit. I won't return due to poor customer service (and obviously poor training)

Terrible – I order a dress for my daughter and picked express shipping and came in 10 days. I opened the item and it had marks ALL over it. The sleeves were too big and the dress was so short, even though I order a bigger size. Bardot Jr are not letting me return it either and refuse to give me the money back!!!! don't buy from here people.

Sizing is a size smaller than all other major retailers. Not good for kids self esteem and body imag – I have nothing positive to say about Bardot Junior. Yes, they stock fashionable clothing, however the retail staff (yes they work in retail, they are not CEO's like they seem to think) are so rude. My kids received lots of Bardot clothing for Christmas. None of it fitted as the sizing is a whole size smaller than other major retailers. I had to… Read more

jump through hoops to exchange with a receipt, even though one item had pulling they refused to admit it was faulty, and worst of all we were stuck with swimwear that doesn't fit as they will not exchange. I find it so wrong that Bardot are contributing to the body image issues kids have today by making a 10 year old who is a size 12, have to buy 14 in Bardot. It is just cruel. I have decided to boycott the brand from now on as the staff are so rude, and the brand does not set a good example for young girls in Australia

Poor customer service, poor quality. Not worth it – Website glitches and discount code didn't work, I already paid and then when I realised I asked for a refund and was told I could just get 20% off next order. When this time came around they wouldn't honour it. Customer service were happy to say "oh well, shop elsewhere"

Bardot junior staff at Burnside sucks – I have never seen such terrible service. Staff not keen to help at all. Did not exchange my jacket, I said I will buy something in exchange. No no no. Not possible because they already send the stock to Melbourne. Sucks, you pay so much for their products and you get crap instead. I have left them the jacket to wear even if it doesnt fit.

Great quality, helpful staff! – We purchased our sons suit for our wedding from Bardot Junior in Chadstone, and the staff were very helpful finding sizes. The quality of the clothing is exceptional. After 6 weeks, we tried it on him and it was a little tight. The staff swapped for a bigger size no questions asked even though it was over the standard returns time. Excellent customer service.

Perfect store for Tweens! – Bardot Junior stocks clothes and accessories for tiny kids through to size 14... by the staff and they really helped her find clothes perfect for her body shape and fashion-style. There was no stress, no fussing just genuine interest in helping her to put outfits together that made her feel gorgeous! My daughter left the store feeling truly great about herself - she felt gorgeous from the inside out... to me, with all the focus on body-image that causes real damage to young girls, I could not have asked for a better shopping experience for my girl. Thanks Bardot Junior! Reasonably priced clothing, brilliant staff who are passionate about helping young girls feel great about themselves!
