Lies, lies, lies and more lies.
Ordered a new vehicle at the beginning of the year with a delivery date in late February. Every month since then, I've recieved a call or email assuring me that the vehicle will be delivered 'mid next month'. Confirmation today that the actual car doesn't even have a production allocation at the factory yet, so who knows when it will turn up? Dealing with supply issues is one thing, but lying to customers over and over and over again is unforgivable - pity you can't rate a zero.

Not all they make out to be
Recently we were in the market for a suitable vehicle to tow our recently purchased caravan. I was using the Carsales web site to carry out my search, I was looking for an Isuzu MU-X within a particular budget. Up popped one from Barton's, which we went ahead with and purchased. Overall, we are very happy with the purchase, what left a bad taste in our mouth was the following.
1. When speaking with the options consultant, we were asked if we wanted window tinting. When looking at the vehicle we thought it already had window tinting as the rear ...

Bartons Capalaba. Don't go there.
Went to test drive what was advertised as a 2016 Rav4. Odom read 112366. Trent was a decent enough young man and I signed a Purchase Contract - subject to RACQ inspection. 48 hours later, Odom read was 113260. When I rang to enquire how is was that nearly 900 kms was added over 2 days (one of which was Australia Day), I was told that "obviously" I had not looked at Odom when test driving. That fact that 112366 was the kms stated in the Purchase Contract did not seem to matter. I don't tell lies, but apparently Daniel Hickman does. When I ...
Read moreexpressed my displeasure I could hear Daniel in the background saying "Well, just take the car off her". Great salesmanship - NOT. If I didn't need a car urgently I would not have gone ahead with the sale. Also upon receipt found the car is actually a 2015 model - not 2016. False advertising. Also have since discovered right side view window adjustment switch doesn't work, but I feel so traumatised by the whole experience that I can't bring myself to enter their premises again. To buy a Car.
Great service. Great Car.
Excellent Saleman@ Daniel Hickman... Would give recommendation to Business and to all Staff that we had to talk with.
Very easy progression from start to finish.. coming away with a great experience.
Thanks

A seniors wish come true
A new KONA was the last thing I would have thought of getting for my birthday. Thank you Adam for all your help, information on the cars available , and for being so patient and polite. I would send any potential buyers to see Adam Dunn at Barton’s Wynnum

Warning
Sent Holden Trax in for rear main oil seal replacement, sent in Tuesday afternoon and picked up vehicle Friday afternoon . Drove home and found gearbox was now leaking transmission oil. Returned car to Holden next morning and mechanic that worked on the car said the leak could have come from them disturbing the torque converter. Mechanic advised car still safe to drive with a leaking gearbox, but no indemnity given by Holden when or if it fails. Sam - service advisor says that the only time they can look at what they messed up on was in 2 week...
Read mores time. Car left at dealership Saturday morning 16/10/2021. Caught taxi home as Holden has NO loan cars available even though the one I returned on Friday afternoon was parked outside the door. I drove past the dealer on Sunday morning to find out my car has been left out in the open where anyone from the street can vandalise it. Please be aware that if you complain or leave your car overnight at Holden it can be potentially left out in the open where it can be damaged by the people walking past. Make sure you you get confirmation on who will cover costs related to potential damage.Great Customer Service
Reuel at Capalaba is by far the best car Salesman. He was very helpful and has a great personality. His good at his job, keep up the great customer service.

They would have to pay me to buy a car from them
Dreadful service, one pleasant busy staff member but otherwise treated abysmally. Never even asked our names let alone introduce themselves. We were ready to spend cash to buy a new car but will never set foot in the place again.
We both walked out traumatised! Unbelievable, just too stunned still to talk about it. Everything I asked was met with a snapped monosyllable response.
They obviously don’t want to sell vehicles, but they would have to pay me to buy one from there after that experience.

Picked up my new Pajero Sport on Saturday and I’m really happy. Great ride, well appointed with all the bells and whistles and just what was promised! I’d highly recommend!

ASX GSR
This company has perfect service friendly staff and I highly recommend Rebecca as your car sales person along side Jen for finance they were both amazing in assisting me in my first car purchase at 18. I am thrilled with my new car and the whole process from finding my perfect car to leaving with my car from the show room!
WARNING - Dodgy car sales man!!!
Bought a low km Outlander, advised the capped price servicing was included, this was obviously a lie to make the sale. When we came to get its first service we were told the capped price servicing had been removed. Didn’t return calls, once someone finally spoke to me they claimed the salesman wouldn’t of said it and washed their hands of us. Poor customer service. Buy elsewhere!
