So disapointed thought that the review by Google was a good reliable one. So fool me. Do not use this site. No stars here. DO NOT BUY Only realized it was a scam when I tried to use the "tracking number"
Scam. I ordered and they automatically changed my order from 1 to 2 units. Unable to email them and unable to track product.
Do not waste your money. Poor communication and customer service
When I first got the BarxBuddy I was impressed and was ready to give it 5 stars. But after 3 days my dog became accustomed to it and now does not affect her at all! My advice is steer clear of this product and save yourself the $50! I'm going back to an electric shock collar which I had before. More expensive but gives the results dog owners are looking for and is humane according to my vet. Please don't order this product!!!!
Do not recommend. Ordered off the Australian site and have nothing to show for it a month later. Requests for refund are being ignored. Not hopeful of getting either product or refund.
Just hoping that someone can help. We ordered on the 21st May online. No follow up Email to confirm shipping and purchase. This morning I am attempting to contact Barkbuddy online. We bought through Barxbuddy Australia yet charged USD amount. I am about to ring my Bank. Is this all a scam?
Really poor customer service and delivery time – I bought one of these early November and its says its been delivered. In Canada?! I live in Australia! I have sent several emails and only received a couple of earlier responses saying it was still in transit, even though I have had confirmation of a delivery? Their customer service is sohhh disappointing.
Disappointing Christmas present that's worse than a lump of coal – Review in one word: Junk. I read the instructions, charged the BarxBuddy Busy Ball and pushed the right buttons. It’s defective. Doesn’t work. The company doesn’t care. They have ignored repeated attempts to get a resolution. Also, the instructions say that the ball cannot be dropped or it will break. What dog doesn’t pick up and drop its toys? Save your money and buy some tennis balls. Money spent on this is wasted.
Was fantastic for my dog. Give it a go – I was sceptical BarxBuddy would be effective for my 3 year old German Shepherd. She is highly reactive when she sees other dogs. This has prevented me from walking her around the neighbourhood and taking her to an enclosed space where there are no distractions. makes watching tv with her in the room not a relaxing experience. I had the BarxBuddy for a couple of weeks before trying because I thought it would be a waste of time. Wow! The first time I used it, Saga responded immediately, and backed off. I've used it a couple of times since and still great results. I haven't ventured walking her around the neighbourhood yet but am getting confident I will be able to in the near future. I would definitely recommend others to give it a try, & with a money back guarantee, what have you got to lose? Well worth the investment for me.
Conned once again – Totally ineffective. If anything, our dog has become more reactive at the side gate. Complete waste of money and time.
Great training tool – I stopped my dog stealing other dogs balls (& trouncing them in the process) I pressed the button when she was rushing other dogs and she'd stop dead & turn and look at me. also loaned it to my sister whose neighbor's dog would go into a barking frenzy every time she stepped outside. One press and that maniac was silent & ran inside its own house. I left it with her for a month in case she needed reinforcement, she only used it one more time and the dog has permanently stopped barking at her. One thing I've noticed: - dogs can become desensitized if you over-use it & don't let your friends play with it around your animals.
Bark control devices – Has no effect on my dogs whatsoever a total SCAM
Useless Crap – This thing does nothing. A flashing light that my dog totally ignores….that’s it!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Didn’t even work – Bought thinking I was buying in Australia, had to wait for it to com from USA months later arrived & did not even work, said price $41 went up to $70 odd, rather angry as could have got same thing cheaper… angry & DO NOT BUY!!!
Simply does not work as described – I have tried the Barxbuddy on numerous dogs , quite a few different breeds and personalities and it has NEVER made any difference to their barking behaviour. A total waste of my money and really I want to throw it in the bin. My opinion of this product is it simply does not do what it proclaims to do. Dogs ignore it in my opinion. Maybe others have had success, but I did test it extensively.
Product is useless – We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is totally impervious to this device. Either it doesn’t work correctly or it’s a total scam. Chris White
Rubbish - totally ineffective – Had no affect whatsoever on a 12months old Cavoodle...tried both options & she totally ignored it & kept on barking.
My dog hates it! – I found this at my mother in laws and one day my dog wouldn’t stop so I pressed button inside the house and she stopped. Didn’t bark again that day. Today she stopped gave us a weird look and went and hid behind shed. I was holding my cat when I showed my son the lights by pressing the button and my cat took off. Definitely works. I feel a bit mean but I know it’s not harmful
Piece of crap – I have two cocker spaniels, 12yo & 1yo. The dogs pay no attention to the device. Don't buy. The LED and laser lights work, but the laser on the floor only makes for a game for the younger dog.
Highly effective training device for some dogs – I purchased a BarxBuddy device earlier this year. I have two dogs - a Staghound and a Basenji/Jack Russell cross. otherhand, takes little notice of the device and keeps barking when excited. He is a much older dog, and perhaps his hearing is not as good as the Staghound's? (Or perhaps is he just not as intelligent as my Staghound?) I have therefore come to the conclusion that this device is a great asset for owners of some dogs and it's effectiveness is dependent on the dog's breed, hearing and levels of intelligence. I guess you really just have to give it a try, to find out whether it will work for your own dog.
Disappointed – There is no ultrasonic frequency. Its just a laser light, no more no less. My dogs saunter by without any looking in my direction when it's on.
Doesn't work at all – This product is a marketing scam - it does not work at all on one dog and the other tries to bite it. I tried to get a refund but the response to my complaint was poorer than any other product experience in my life. Don't buy this crap.

It Works for my toy poodles – It Works for me. I have 5 toy poodles as I'm a breeder of Dogs Queensland. It is not a magic but clearly they don't like it. They back away when I push the button. I'm happy to recommend it to others. Give it a go.
Total rip off – I received my ball 3 weeks late, so not for Xmas… Gave it to my she[pard mix puppy to play with . Within 20 minutes it was destroyed. My other small dogs were not interested. Doesn’t work – Purchased this item and used it when my dog was barking in the back of the car he would just keep on jumping at the windows so i used this Barx Buddy on him and it made him more furious he came at me with snarling and trying to get to me so i left him at home
Barx Buddy worked for me – I purchased Barx Buddy for my little yappy Pomchi. She would bark continuously when I would put her outside, and I could tell her off with no result. However after using it over 2 weeks whenever she would bark and be a nuisance it would be an instant stop as soon as I used it. I now no longer have to use it, she goes outside to do her business and doesn’t bark. I am amazed and it definitely worked for me and my little doggie who is 9 years old.
Barx Buddy is a scam! do not buy – There is a lot of fake reviews for this product. The website had a glitch that ordered 2 units and charged me for both. I got no responses when i email them. They delay the orders so long the 30 day money back is useless. Very disappointed to see them advertised everywhere on reputable websites
