Not the quality you expect – Careful what you buy and the warranty. These shops are all franchise only with most of them now closed. No phone number for customer service and only email - and your lucky if they reply. Stores can't help you. Products Australian? NO - made in China. alternative when store was closing. ALL recliners have a 10 year warranty on frame. Look at my photos and be your own judge whether you should still buy from this store, with little care from Customer service.
Peeling leather, so disappointed with this sofa – We were happy with our sofa when we purchased it, however after around five years the leather started peeling, it is now seven years old and the peeling is really bad. Sofa grand lodge – I bought two sofas from Bay leather spending over $4500. We thought we would spend a bit more and expected a quality product. apparently you can’t have their leather sofas near sunlight which is in the small print once you have already bought the product. Why would they produce sofas that can’t be near sunlight and sell them in Australia where it’s sunny most of the time? The sales people need to tell you this before you purchase. I had to place one of the sofas by the window there is nowhere else for it to go. I have had another much cheaper leather sofa from ikea for 14 years and it’s still going strong despite heavy everyday use in our main living area and not faded at all. Terrible service. Delivered damaged/used stock. Did not return my calls and wont replace item at sto – Bought a 3 piece lounge and 6 dining chairs. Only 2 pieces of the lounge set arrived. The 3rd piece was delivered to the wrong address. 2 of the 6 chairs delivered were floor stock (not brand new) with scratches. The 3rd chair was the wrong colour. So had to send 3 chairs back. and never got a response. Took ages to arrange redelivery. Incredibly unprofessional.
Eventually got the missing lounge chair, but it had obviously been used. Of the 3 dining chairs they replaced, one was damaged floor stock again! Wife says too much hassle to get the last dining chair replaced. Bay Leather wont let us swap at a store for a new chair. Delivery drivers says this sort of thing happens all the time.
Very frustrated. Will never deal with them again. Recommend avoid at all costs.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with BAY LEATHER REPUBLIC ARTARMON! firm delivery date was our precondition of purchase at the store and the store said they were very confident of their delivery cycle, only to cut a sorry figure at the end of it and blaming it on supply chain mismanagement. We thought it to be a one time issue, only to experience the exact same reason and exact same issue again with the recent delivery of the Ottoman which was also ordered in August and was to be delivered in 4 months - they now say will take 5 months. Funnily enough, consumers should know that they charge a cancellation fees on orders delayed by them or the customers have to just put up with their timelines - whatever they are!! Excellent way to make long time customers, Congratulations Bay Leather, you have lost yet another customer!! Certainly sets a new standard in customer service!!

delivery of goods and helping customer check items – Furniture arrived carried in alittle difficult access but the delivery guys did a good job, however we were left to unpack and check the items as the delivery men left straight away, 2 ute full of cardboatd and plastic to dispose off. I called the store to let them know and asked what happens with single or older people who havnt the capability to get rid of packing let alone lift the items to unpack? BLR Artarmon – We spent many days/weeks looking for lounges and finally decided to purchase 2 x 3 seaters from BLR Artarmon - The assistance and service provided by Anthony was awesome, provided all the answers to many questions with great advice and not only did the delivery arrive early but unpacked and took rubbish away. Can not fault any of the quality and we have since been back to BLR Artarmon to purchase additional furniture - thanks Anthony Show details

were , Were the cows Horns had been so it was a natural fault!!! As were scratch marks , & there was nothing he could do, & just left! No Service at all! When I contacted customer service again they were rude and extremely unhelpful, And refused to do anything about it.I got the impression this happens a lot. I remindied them this was a Brand New three seater sofa plus a two half seater sofa which had been delivered two wks later. Stitching didn't match & cushion s were overfilled . They look like we had purchased them from two different stores!!
Store and Customer Service were rude & unhelpful . I Spent over $5000 Dollars on these sofas & will have to replace them as soon as I can save up again. They have caused lots of tears in this household!! Be Warned , lots of unhappy people here. HONESTLY CHEAP CRAP !!!!
