Well priced gem – I've been using the Beko heat pump dryer for a few months now, and overall, I'm quite pleased with it. I specifically sought out this model because of its energy efficiency, which is close to that of a Miele—139 kWh per year for the Beko vs. 100 kWh for the Miele. I live in an apartment in Queensland and opted for a heat pump dryer to minimise the… Read more
extra energy use by my air conditioner during summer. Unlike a conventional dryer, the heat pump model doesn’t add humidity to the air, which is crucial for keeping the apartment cooler and reducing the strain on the air conditioner.
Before purchasing, I read a few reviews where people mentioned that clothes sometimes come out damp. To those reviewers, I would suggest reading the instruction manual. Yes, by default, clothes might have a slight damp feel, but it’s a simple fix—just adjust the setting up one level, and they’ll come out as dry as you’d expect.
The dryer is generally quiet, though the little fan near the condenser can occasionally make more noise than usual. I live in a soundproof apartment, so I notice even small amounts of noise, but compared to a conventional dryer, it’s still very quiet.
One feature I particularly appreciate is the dryer’s ability to stop when it detects that the desired dryness level has been reached. This not only prevents over-drying but also adds to the energy efficiency, which is a big plus in my book.
Rubbish dryer and rubbish service – Had this dryer for around 2 years.......Until it started leaking water underneath. 5 year warranty, the guy came out and found the issue. Blamed our washing detergent. Really??? One day later, same issue. Now it has been in the repair shop for 2 and an half weeks with no resolution and no contact. Go elsewhere for a better product. Just because it has a 5 year warranty doesn't mean they will adhere to it. Show details

Major upgrade from our vented dryer, love it! – After only having this dryer for 2 weeks, I can definitely say we love it! We have an external laundry so cannot comment on smell as others have mentioned but we have not noticed it at all, even when we first took it out of its packaging. Sits well on our 10kg F&P washing machine with a rubber anti vibration pad in between. Much more solid and… Read more
well made than our 10 year old F&P vented dryer. Love the condensation drawer. We use the stored water to water some of our plants (wonderful dual purpose). The tiny amount of energy used per load means we can even use it during peak times and know our bill won’t go through the roof. Does take a while to dry but that was expected and a worthwhile compromise to the lower energy usage and is more gentle on clothes. I have even put delicate chiffon through and it handles it well. Very quiet as well, laundry is directly under my daughters bedroom and she cannot hear it at night when we run it. Got it at an absolute steal of $756 from Appliances Online, they were fantastic to deal with as well. So far, incredibly impressed.
Smells absolutely horrid – I wish I read an honest review of this machine before I bought it. This dryer smells absolutely rancid. We were told the smell would go away after a few hours but it's almost 3 months on and our clothes and towels all smell rancid. The filter is tiny and needs constant changing and the materials are the cheapest on the market. Seriously the drum door is made of thin plastic. I'm waiting for it to just snap off. Truly garbage. Great product – Bought this brand heat pump dryer as i have a Beko washing machine. I have only had the dryer 2 weeks but have found it does everything that i expect of this type of dryer to do. We have had a week of non stop rain and then some more and it has been running every day, thank goodness i bought it one day before the rains came. Loving it already. I… Read more
love the Beko brand as i have had very little to complain about it. I am just a retiree who took a chance on a more economical brand 3 years ago.
Avoid at all costs horrid customer service – Washing machine broke due to a manufacturing defect, and selling a machine with design flaws, the refuse to hounor warranty, stay clear not worth the hassle. My machine is still broken under warranty and Beko refuse to acknowledge the fault when there Manager stated its a known problem and this happens all the time. Clothes come out dirty still and half.are still.dry. Show details
Great Condenser Dryer – We had to change from our condensing dryer (asko )when it was completely uneconomical to repair disgusting really , sick of not being able to repair items. This dryer isn't plumbed in to our waste laundry basin you can empty a container, as we know that can be used for steam irons. But I don't iron so don't car really but if your fastidious about… Read more
water wastage then it can go onto garden and post plants. I think its a handsome dryer the settings are simple and clear. We've had about 3 months and love it no problems
Brilliant dryer – Needed a dryer so after a lot of research decided on a heat pump and this Beko model as it was in my opinion rated best of the bunch for a very reasonable price tag. There are a number of programs available but only used a few (basic cottons, mixed daily, bedding and jeans) and it dries clothes (regardless of size) perfectly and in good time. The… Read more
sensor on it must be excellent. The only bad we experienced is that within the first week the dryer had started to turn off randomly mid cycle without the clothes being dry. Contacted Beko support who advised as it was within the first week of purchase, I could get a replacement directly from the store. No need to have it assessed. They believe it was possibly overheating and safety system was kicking in. Having said that, I could keep using the dryer safely until the replacement arrived. Excellent product and excellent service from Beko.
TERRIBE QUALITY – This unit was purchased from BI Rite APPLIANCES IN Narrabri NSW and was bubble wrapped and they sad it was their last drier so in desperation I purchased it. It was a very large drier which is what I needed. When I got it home 100kms away and unwrapped it the top was clear off and it had been dropped at the store. WHEN EVER ARE WHITE GOODS BUBBLE… Read more
WRAPPED. They were hiding that fact. There was no box or any Styrofoam packing only bubble wrap. The drier has never been any good, making weird scraping noises etc, and today the door totally fell off which was loose prior. Bi RITE appliances never wanted to do anything about it and expected me to return it 100kms to the store in lock downs and accused me of dropping it which simply was not the case. this drier is [Content Removed] and today we have thrown it away and will never buy a Beko product again or buy anything though BI RITE in narrabri. dishonest people.
Great heat pumper dryer and great value – All my laundry goes into this heat pump dryer and I mostly use the mixed daily setting as it’s a mixture of synthetics and cottons. Dries everything so well and very helpful with the sensor meaning it won’t waste electricity with over drying. Costs only 16-20 cents per load to try, it’s not worth my time to hang out any laundry anymore. Really happy with my purchase and was price matched through Betta Home Living with delivery in less than a week Show details
Best drier I've owned – Everything including doonas. Clothes come out feeling dry + fresh + doesn't take long to dry. Live the multifunction settings depending on what I'm drying. Winter will be a breeze to keep things washed + dried. Show details
Winter is no longer a challenge – I hate hanging out laundry. With back and knee issues, it is a true pet hate. So a clothes dryer was the obvious choice. After some looking and reading, I settled on the Beko 7kg Heat Pump clothes, dryer. I purchased it locally from Betta, instore. Now, I know a lot of people, myself included, have issues with dryers, as they cost huge amounts to… Read more
run, due to the simply heating element. But wait! No more is that a problem. When you read the numbers down lower, you too will say, I want one.
The Beko 7kg Heat Pump dryer, uses the same technology as your inverter air conditioner. Now, I don’t pretend to understand how it works, but this process provides cooling, or heating, with very little power draw. The big dislike for older clothes dryers.
OK, ready for those numbers?
My Fisher and Parker 6.5kg washer uses approx 450 KWh to complete a load using cold water. The Beko 7kg Heat Pump clothes dryer? 140kWh to dry the same load. That’s right, no longer does your clothes dryer provide huge pay rises for electricity company executives. Now your clothes dryer uses around a quarter of the power your washer does. Seriously!
With a choice of 15 drying programs, you will be able to dry anything safely. The ‘wave’ interior helps ensure your clothes come out, untangled. Plus “Eco Technology’ that prevents colour bleed, so you know your clothes will come out as bright as they went in.
With child safety locks, a clear glass door, your little ones will be safe. A wide door allows quick and easy loading/unloading.
If you are in the market for a new clothes dryer, want one that is quiet, cheap to run and has more option than I can ever en the Beko 7kg Heat Pump clothes dryer may just be ideal for you.
