Terrible – Very rarely does it dry anything. Goes on for hours and clothing is still damp. Extremely disappointed in this near useless drier. Both filters are cleaned and water tank empty, still very little heat. Beko should name it a cloths tumbler and must not include drier in their description.

A Nightmare - Beko heat pump dryer – I purchased this dryer 4 years ago and have had the same problem ever since I bought it. It is plumbed in so I don't need to empty the condensation tray. I read the instructions. I've tried so many options for mixing items. I've wanted to review it earlier but just now I have time to write a review and because today again, I'm totally fed up with it, here's my review. This is a nightmare of a dryer for drying bed linen. Doona covers, flat sheets, fitted sheets all ball up. I've tried so many mix options 1 sheet, towels and some lighter items-it all balls up. A doona cover and sheets with some socks-it all balls up etc etc. I have to open the dryer, shake out the items and put them back in, so I have to be continually around to assess the situation. The only things that don't ball up are towels and clothing items together. I'm so disappointed in this machine. Even right now on 25 Feb 24 I'm drying a doona cover, pillow cases and 1 towel. All have balled up inside the doona so I've had to seperate them and put all in again. To reiterate, this has been the case since I installed this dryer. It appears that the cycle goes round (clockswise) in one direction for a long time. Then it reverses (anticlockwise) for a really short time (a few seconds). It then goes back to clockwise for a really long time. I think the balling problem could be solved if the clockwise and anti clock wise drying were the same amount of time each way. It's not my job to figure this out. The manufacturer has really let me down with this dryer. The photos are showing different silver bed linen at different drying stages and a white bed linen after I took in out of the dryer. This is the only Beko product I have bought and I will never buy any other item of this brand, again. I don't need the stress, frustration or to have my time wasted.

Not happy with this dryer – This is the worst dryer I have ever encountered. I got it because of the energy rating and because we were told how great heat pump dryers are etc but the lint filter has to be the messiest lint filter I’ve ever used. It doesn’t catch lint properly and despite cleaning it out each time lint ends up everywhere including all around the inside of the door, when you pull the filter out it just flies around the room because there is so much excess hanging off the filter instead of inside it which isn’t full might I add. The drying settings are confusing. I swear it has shrunk some of our kids clothes even on the baby protect setting and also the tags disappeared off of a brand new bonds wondersuit (off actual garment with size etc) which can now no longer be on sold once we’ve finished with it. Trying to avoid using it now but with the rainy whether and a busy working family it has had a lot of use the past 6 months. I also find it odd that there are so many great reviews on it and I struggle to find anyone having the same issues we’ve had with it. We also had the same issue that was previously mentioned by someone else about the bed sheets getting stuck in a ball and not drying.

Good dryer – Beko BDP810W 8KG We've had this dryer for about 9 months. I can say it's a good quality dryer and works well. I like the natural glass door (not plastic). Not the quietest appliance but it's not any noisier than old vented dryer it replaced uses one third of the energy compared to old vented dryer. overall excellent experience with Appliances Online, very quick delivery within 48 hrs.
