So far happy – Great size dryer. Fits lots of washing. Excelente for family of 5. Lots of settings. Clothes don’t come out hot but seems to be dry. Not very noisy. Very happy so far. Easy to use. Dryer finishes when clothes are dry as opposed to being on a timer setting. Comes with 5 years warranty.

A fantastic dryer - quiet, fast, large and efficient – Our old 4.5kg conventional vented died and I had no idea that there were now different types of clothes dryers (who follows clothes dryer tech?). A bit of reading showed that a Heat-Pump dryer was the one to buy, but spending $2k on a dryer didn't seem like a good idea. The Beko was affordable, reviewed well and had a bonus 5 warranty at my time of purchase. Some reviews of similar Heat Pump dryers indicated that they didn't dry clothes well, but they do. The trick is that the clothes don't come out warm and may still feel a tiny bit damp, but after being out of the machine for 30 seconds in ambient air it's clear they're dry. During a cycle the machines stops periodically and checks the amount of water remaining in the load using a sensor, then continues drying if necessary - this means that a cycle that supposedly takes 2 hours when you start it slowly whittles down to (say) 45 minutes dependent on what and how much you're drying. This makes it way faster than a vented dryer as you're not drying the clothes beyond the point that's required, and when you couple this with the fact that heat-pump dryers only use 1/3rd the energy of a vented dryer it's a bit of a no-brainier - especially when you can get a 7kg one with a long warranty for under $1k. Highly recommended.
