Do not buy - they don't honour their warranty – We bought this washing machine, partly because they offer a 5 year warranty. It was great for about 3.5 years then stopped working - it seemed like the motor died. They refused to cover it under warranty, and their customer service and communication was pretty hopeless. Illegal trade practices and shocking customer service – Loved my Beko machine - I raved about it to everyone. After 3 years, a spring in the door has broken so it won't open. under mandatory statutory Australian warranty. I was told, and I kid you not, "the door is a moving part so it's not covered, as you use it." I explained very patiently that I did in fact purchase the washing machine to use it, here's the funny part, as a washing machine. I then explained that this advice was in fact illegal under trade practices law. The "customer service" person actually giggled at me and said "okay!".

I was told I'd need an assessment at my own cost of $189 from a separate contractor company (who later confirmed this was non-refundable for warranty claims and did not include parts). I asked to speak to a manager, was told he was busy and would call me back, and guess what, a week later he hasn't so they must be pretty busy with other broken products and fighting legitimate claims in small claims court. I'd never purchase a Beko again.

negatives (and this is nit picking!)

1) i wish it "beeped" at me when i select or start a wash - there is no response apart from a light to say its on

2) It doesnt beep when its done a wash

3) the buttons and door do look cheap - you can definetly see where costs have been cut

Overall - seriously.. if it lasts 5 years.. its a bargain, and does exactly what you purchased it for - washes clothes. The bonus is that it does it very quietly!

the right wash cycle that best suits you, as these cycles are not like the ones we are used to from previous generation washers, they are quiet specific. But once you worked out the cycles, it's a set and forget. There is a quick cycle button that speeds up most of the cycles for those with busy lifestyles by reducing the preselected cycle time by 20% with virtually the same results ( providing your clothes are not heavily soiled). It does also feature a genuine Wool cycle endorsed by the Australian Wool association, a feature not found on many similar machines. It has an adjustable spin speed of up to 1400 rpm which is more than enough for an excellent drying result. The Beko washers are genuinely manufactured in their own factory of origin in Turkey, not somewhere else outsourced like most other brands have now done. Energy rating is reasonably average for this price point, still a huge improvement if migrating from a top loader washer. As with the warranty being 2 years parts and Labour and 10 year guarantee on the motor. Beko are now manufacturing machines for other brands under license, and is rated as the second largest washing machine manufacturer in Europe behind BOSCH. Overall value for money is excellent, with overall quality as good, overall wash result very good, overall energy rating ( for comparative front loaders ) as average. Overall opinion is: Excellent choice for buyers on a budget offering value for money with good to very good quality & wash result. They are well established in the Australian market place. Cannot go wrong with this machine!!

Great Machine! 1 small fault – Love this washing machine! Have only one small complaint when you have to push the START/PAUSE button, I have to push really hard to get machine to kick into gear and start. great. I wash a range of clothing from sheets and other bedding to woolen winter long sleeve tee's and never have a problem as there are good settings to choose if you want a long or a short cycle. Delicate clothes are just fine in this washing machine.

Only use half the amount of washing powder you normally use as this machine washes well.

out. Grease and oil are easily removed. I like that you can alter water temperature and spin intensity even after you've started a cycle. The only down side is the length of time a cycle takes, but I only use the 'cotton' cycle for the farm clothes and the daily quick for almost everything else. I do about 6 loads of washing per week and am very happy with this machine.

Packaging blocks not clearly identified – Very happy with the wash cycles But! A packaging block under machine was not clearly visable and identication ribbon was not visable at all resulting in a call out service charge to us!!! Amazing – I wash everything in this washing machine from bedding, towels, dedicates, cottons and synthetics. It gets used nearly every day and time and time again I have been happy with the way the clothes have been washed. I also love the timer and use that when I go out for a few hours and by the time I get home the washing has finished, ready for me to hang it one the line. Had a few minor issues – The led indicator seems to be playing around sometimes works other times is blank. The cold water pipe was bent on install and now sticks up but the washing machine still works. Piece of crap – Just over two years I have had it and nothing but trouble! The leveller ends up needing replacing and water won’t drain from it. Days and days without a washing machine constantly waiting for the piece of crap to be fixed. Would never ever by beko again! Value for money masher – I purchased this washer after having nightmares with the last, I learnt to never buy second hand as nobody is ever honest about the sale they are doing. I purchased this machine from the local electrical store and have had no issues with it since. Is so quiet and sounds super cool with the new drum technology. start button is pressed hard to make sure it starts.. as we have had times where we have pressed start & the machine hasn't actually started.. it is not a soft touch button...

It is not a washing machine that I would recommend to someone.

So far it has not given us any grief in any way of break downs... but next time I'll be going for a higher end machine.

It's easy to use – The most straightforward washing machine iv'e ever had, it's so nice being able to see how long cycles and such will last, it only really has 2 downsides, 1 being that since it's a front loader you can't open it mid-cycle, but that's just inherent, the second being that it can take a minute or two to start sometimes, which is annoying when you're not sure if it's actually begun.  Show details

Easy – We recently brought this new washing machine. I can say it cleans our clothing so well whites seem whiter and use's little water and power. I love the quick 14 minute wash when in a hurry. It also has a pet hair removal system and is good on water consumption, and pretty quiet.
