Does not work – I am extremely disappointed with this pillow. I should have looked for reviews other than what they had on their website. Two round pillows in a pillow case, but the fact that they are so far apart, no option to move closer together (as I am petite) so provides absolutely no support for my back and hips. It might work for larger ladies, but if you are petite, save yourself much needed $100 and do not buy. Show details

Very uncomfortable and overpriced – I purchased this pillow recently and all I can say is that it is incredibly uncomfortable. It feels as though it’s putting additional pressure on my belly rather than alleviating pressure. It is also very expensive for what it is - two small, standard pillows in a case. Show details

Big rort, not at all worth the price – This product is two rather small, flimsy circular pillow inserts, joined by a bean-shaped pillow cover. Doesn’t offer much support at all and they don’t offer refunds. Expensive, disappointing rort.  Show details

Great product, highly recommend it – I usually sleep on my back or tummy and was really struggling with sleeping on my side from about 18 weeks pregnant. I'd often wake up in a lot of pain and had restless sleeps. I didn't like any of the other maternity pillows as they are so big and take up so much space. I found belly bean while desperately googling pillow options and have been… Read more

using it for 2 weeks now and it has already made a huge difference. It stops me from rolling on my back by accident and I find it really supports me and I have slept the whole night without waking up in pain and discomfort which is amazing. It's also really easy to roll from side to side and is very soft and high quality and I love that it's made in Australia. Thank you for such a great product, it has helped me so much.

My only point of feedback that other's mentioned is not having such large writing on it. If not for that, I think I'd consider just chucking it on the couch after pregnancy to use as a cushion as I really like the colour and softness!

DO NOT BUY – I bought this pillow based on the claims made online. However two specific reasons why i regret it now. Firstly their shipping rate is over the top, for a business that is selling online it is crazy that you have to pay $14 for shipping such a light item. Secondly the owner/customer service representative([Name Removed]) is so rude and gives out… Read more

unsolicited medical advice when i asked if i could return the pillow. Based on the claims made on their website this was supposed to help me sleep better, but when it didn’t (in fact it gave me horrible back pain) and I contacted customer service He went on and on about how my body was out of alignment and that there was nothing wrong with the pillow and that I should go see an osteopath etc. It’s a standard size pillow so it’s to be expected that it will not work for everyone. You think you are getting a premium product when you read the information on their website, but I can honestly say after using the pillow it didn’t help me sleep better and it can’t be used as a nursing pillow. Don’t waste your money, there are other infinity pillows out there that have much better customer service and 100% satisfaction guarantees.

Absolute lifesaver – With my first pregnancy i used a range of pillows and cushions to help me sleep but even so, from 33 weeks I was constantly tossing and turning due to pain in my left hip and right ribs. When the pain started up again around the same pregnancy I couldn’t deal with the thought of running a business, keeping a 3 year old alive and happy and… Read more

running a home on no sleep.

I read good things about this pillow and eagerly awaited its arrival. The first could of nights it took a bit of getting used to but after that it has been a game changer. I still use a cushion between my knees but the belly wan supports my bump and stops me laying flat on my back. I’ve had 6 weeks of sleep I didn’t get with my first pregnancy and it’s all down to this pillow!!

I really feel I need to talk to some of the negative reviews on this site. Clearly people don’t understand the time, effort and money that goes into developing, prototyping and launching a product and business. My friend is a seamstress and even if these only took 2 hours to make she’d be charging $100 for her time alone. No they aren’t $20 bit they’re also not made in a Kmart sweatshop by children. And no the owners aren’t making a massive profit on them, their selling their unique idea which has helped 100’s of women in the hope they make just enough to make a living.

So, amazing product and a reasonable price.

The belly bean is perfect. Can't sleep without it now! – After shopping around, I finally came across the belly bean...and now I can't sleep without it. I have lots of issues with my hip, lower back and sciatica and it has helped so much. Plus it's an amazing support for my growing bump. So thankful I got one!!! Show details

Best pregnancy pillow ever – I used my pillow since early pregnancy as I was carrying twins, it made a whole difference in my sleeping. Loved the front and back support. I used it after giving birth too.

A pregnancy must – Highly recommend this product. This was perfect for keeping my heavy belly supported and comfortable while moving from side to side in the night. Have used for 2 pregnancies and could not sleep without it.

Bad customer service – I'm sure the pillow is great, but customer service was terrible. Pillow took a while to arrive so I ended up ordering something else. I contacted them multiple times to ask if I could return it unopened and over 2 weeks later they finally told me I couldn't return it. Not sure why the website says fast delivery and satisfaction guaranteed. Show details

It was great! The first few months of use – After a few months of using it, the pillow became flimsy, all in all, useless. It's overstretched, doesn't matter what I do to make it work, the product ends up way to high up my torso, or just doesn't support my womb at all and I'm at the time I need the most support. $79 for nothing, buy something similar for cheaper elsewhere. Show details

Not good for me & no return policy – I used it for 1 night and it left me very sore the next day. The back part felt like it was putting more pressure on my tummy due to the amount of filling both sides. Very expensive for what it is. I called but they will not accept returns which isna shame.  Show details

Great customer service – Over the years, the Bellybean cover had been stretched and not very effective anymore. I reached out to Bellybean and they kindly sent me another cover, which has held the pillows together better and is now more supportive. The side that goes under the belly is incredibly supportive and sometimes if my back is extra sore that day, I will add an… Read more

extra cushion at the back. However on a good night, the Bellybean is enough as it is. The customer service team were very helpful to ensure I was having a good long-lasting experience with my Bellybean pillow - thank you!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! – I am usually a back and tummy sleeper. I was getting a very sore back very early on (about 18 weeks) and struggled staying on my side while sleeping. After using the bellybean for one night my sore back disappeared and I was able to sleep without worrying about rolling onto my back. I absolutely love it! I wish I had bought it much earlier even before the bump really appeared. Worth ever dollar!  Show details

Did not work for me at all – I bought this as an alternative to a huge maternity pillow and honestly found it to be awful. I was only 6 months when it arrived and I felt like it crushed me in between the two pillows and even when I tried using it behind my back just so I didn't roll it gave me a huge backache. Too small to use between my legs (kept slipping away). All around very expensive and didn't work for me at all. Show details

Good nursing pillow – I didn’t find the Bellybean to be a comfortable pregnancy pillow but it’s been a great nursing pillow. I lay it across my lap when breastfeeding to support baby’s hips on one side and my elbow on the other. Show details

AMAZING!! – I am generally a back sleeper and found it hard to stay on my side when I was pregnant. The Belly Bean Maternity Pillow was amazing with helping me stay on my side, in comfort. Pregnancy lifesaver – I was recommended the belly bean by a friend who used it in both of her pregnancies. Ive been using mine for about 2 months and I love it! weeks of using it I stayed at my husbands parents house for the weekend and forgot to pack my belly bean - big mistake, that was the worst sleep I had in months! It’s much smaller than the bulky pregnancy pillows so takes us barely any room in the bed.

Will recommend the belly bean to all my future pregnant friends :)

Love it!! – This pillow has been a game changer for me. I started out with one of those big body pillows & it was just so bulky I could never get comfortable. The bellybean is nice and small & cradles my pregnant body front and back perfectly! I love how it suppprts my back aswell. Cannot fault it.

Doesn't prevent rolling onto my back – 33 weeks now and have been using nightly since 29 weeks. I have been lucky to not have had any pain or discomfort anywhere in my body. The only reason for purchase was to encourage side sleeping as I kept rolling onto my back. Unfortunately I still roll onto my back. I think the gap is too big so I put an extra wedge pillow in there but I still… Read more

manage to roll onto my back. Also, I have to get comfy by putting a euro pillow in between my legs to keep the pelvis/knees supported. On the plus side, I do notice the support for my belly but I was already getting that from a basic wedge pillow. I have been known to spin and kick 90-180 degrees at night, so one big advantage is that the bellybean keeps me exclusively within the boundaries of the pillow on my side of the bed. So even though I still roll onto my back, the partner is happy to not get kicked in the legs/abdomen/head anymore and for that reason alone I would continue to use even after giving birth. I wouldn't re-purchase or recommend however, because ultimately it didn't address my specific needs.

Not what I hoped for – I like the idea of this pillow, but it just hasn't been very effective for and I am no thinking of buy another pillow. It supports my stomach and helps to prevent rolling into my back. I have started using it… Read more

Much easier to turn over – It has helped with my hip/ back pain & it is much easier to turn over in the night using this rather than the other pregnancy pillow I have but I still need to put a pillow between my knees in addition to this. It does help me to stay on my side, I do occasionally wake up half on my side/ my back but much less than when using the other pillow. I bought mine second hand for $30 & wouldn't want to spend more than that on my bellybean. Show details

Could have been better – I use this pillow religiously since 13 weeks and I am used to sleeping with it. However, the gap between is quite large and I don't feel supported all the times. My main concern is that it doesn't obstruct me from rolling to my back, which is a negative for the price. It does provide support for my belly though.

Love it! – Best pregnancy pillow been using since 12 weeks and now 20 weeks. No need for bulky pillows and it stays in place so when I toss and turn during the night I'm supported on both sides. Well made and definitely recommend Show details

Doesn’t provide the support it states – Hmm I’m not 100% on this pillow. I think the gap in between is a little too big as it doesn’t support my back like it says it does. Convenient when turning around in the middle of the night and not having to stuff a pillow under my bump but i still require a heap of pillows to support between my legs and upper body. A game changer in pregnancy pillows – This pregnancy pillow is simply perfect. Not only is it beautifully made, it has allowed me to have the best night sleep I’ve had in a long time! The pillow supports your belly, back and hips brilliantly and does not take up a lot of room in bed unlike the U shaped pillows. Although the BellyBean may seem slightly expensive, I can promise you’ll soon forget about the cost when you’re sleeping so comfortably. Thanks BellyBean! Show details

Nice but average maternity pillow – I've had my belly bean for about a month now, I do like it however it doesn't provide enough support for my back, its perfect on my bump but I still wake up with a really sore lower back, I think it just might be too wide for me (I have had to put extra stuffing in the middle of it to try and bulk it out a bit more). I am finding I need to place… Read more

an extra pillow underneath it behind my back for extra support. Love using it for sitting up in bed etc & its a nice size plus the cover is really soft. Its an average maternity pillow for me but it seems like it works wonderful for others as per the reviews on here, I don't regret buying it though as it is still useful however I do feel that the price is a bit steep.

Very good support to my back, no back pain at all – My back started to feel a bit sore at around 14 weeks. I didn't like the idea of very bulky maternity pillows since they take up so much space. I am so happy that I picked belly bean. It's very compact and yet gives very good support to my back and tummy. I am 30 weeks now and still enjoy very good sleep. Very happy with my purchase. Show details

So happy I bought it!!! – I was looking forward to purchasing the Bellybean but became sceptical after reading a few negative reviews. After purchasing it I certainly am so relieved that I did! It took a couple of days of getting used to but wow is it helpful and I’m still only 20 weeks. I can only imagine how much more I’d love it as my bump gets bigger! Show details

Great product but overpriced – I really love my bellybean, it's not bulky and certainly helps with the comfort. Highly recommend – I purchased the belly bean pillow in early 2017 in my first pregnancy and loved it, I couldn’t go without it. pulled it out of the cupboard recently for my second pregnancy and still highly recommend it. However I am sleeping differently, first pregnancy I found fantastic support with the pillow running vertically along my body- one end of the pillow between knees and the other resting against my stomach, this time around running horizontally- one end supporting my tummy and that other end supporting me from rolling onto my back. So versatile. Thanks belly bean team
