The Butterfly Maternity Pillow

Didn’t like the pillow, it was pressing on my belly which made it very uncomfortable. They have a 90 days return policy. I contacted them to return the product, they sent me a label and then I never heard from them, never received a refund ! Tried to email them, live chat, their form on their website but they are just ghosting me. I will be at the next Faire to claim my refund as promised. Really not honest people or company.

I had purchased another larger pillow (body wrap around) and it just didn't work for us. We met the butterfly team at the expo and they did a great job explaining why I didn't need a larger pillow. Super happy with the product, incredible service from the team and happy to support an Australian business. Good for bump support – This maternity pillow provides decent support for my baby bump whilst sleeping, and I like that it’s double sided to make rolling over easier. I thought the fact this pillow raises your torso slightly from the mattress may relieve some pressure, but it hasn’t helped and I’m on the look out for a different option to address that, as a pillow between the knees is also not sufficient. I’ll still use this pillow for travel, as it’s nice and small. I’d recommend it for women just looking for some bump support and something to discourage them from rolling on their backs, however if you’re experiencing pregnancy aches and pains, a larger pillow may be more supportive and helpful.

Game changer in such a little package!!! aches and chronic back pain (which the other pillows provided no relief for) I became a little more desperate to find support that would provide targeted relief and I remembered seeing the huge amount of positive reviews for the butterfly pillow and finally ordered one.

I still don’t understand how it can be so effective but it is nothing short of a miracle how much this pillow has supported my sleep and reduced my back aches. It is so incredibly comfortable, you have to try it to believe it- and provides soft yet firm support in all the areas impacted by my growing belly. It holds me in place for side sleeping and I no longer worry about rolling onto my back as it creates a soft barrier so this isn’t possible. Also to confirm what many reviews have said- it’s designed so that rolling into your other side is effortless and doesn’t require shifting of props which often would wake me up. My back and belly feel so beautifully cushioned and this cushiony support is not something I have to keep rearranging the pillow to create. It is an amazing design- so simple that I still can’t quite fathom how it is so effective and comfortable.

I now take it with me when I am going somewhere where I’ll know I’ll be sitting for a while (like to the movies) and I place it around my lower back and no longer get any of the back aches I was starting to get through prolonged sitting. It’s size means it is super easy to cart around and travel with unlike my huge c shaped pillow that I bought earlier.

Overall this pillow is a true miracle of comfort. One you must try yourself up believe. I have gone from a cynic to a convert!!! I only wish I had trusted all those positive reviews about it and purchased it earlier. I will use it long after my pregnancy is over too as I imagine it would be a super lovely supper even without my bump!

If you are looking for ‘the one’- in the sea of pregnancy pillows on offer- then don’t go past the butterfly. It is worth every cent.

props me up nicely and keeps me from tossing and turning all night. What I really like is that it’s easy to move around and adjust, so I can use it on the couch after work or in bed at night. I’ve noticed I wake up less stiff and actually feel more rested, which makes a huge difference when you still need the energy to juggle work and family. For me, it’s been worth it.

It feels very flimsy and the covers feel like they are made of cheap fabric. I’m terribly disappointed and will be requesting a refund.

It took me a while to actually invest in a pregnancy pillow, thinking I will not need it, and boy was I wrong! The cost is worth the comfort – I already had the double sided long body pillow (big U pillow) and it was great for my first trimester but honestly after the 2nd night receiving the butterfly pillow at 19weeks I haven’t looked back.
