people mention above treated her so badly and also talked about her in front of other customers. Thats not customer service at all. My sister now doesnt want to shop there anymore and neither do i.

Customer service – I have always been served in a friendly manner, the staff at Tea Gardens go out of their way to help customers and source a product a customer wants the store to stock! Yes the store is looking its age and would benefit from a new fit out, but the staff are great! Service is great Store is small, so impossible to carry all lines.

Customer Parking – I often shop at Bi Lo South Grafton and during the summer months it is extremely hot, so a carpark without sails for shoppers to park under often leads to me shopping elsewhere just so that I can park in an underground carpark. Price rise – I have bought Twinnings English Breakfast tea leaves for years now, costing $4.95 and now bilO and Woolworths are selling it at $6.19 for the same size packet as when it was sold at $4.95, they say it is $4.95 for 100g however the packet is the same size as it was before. I really think this is a real rip off. they say prices are going down down , this however is going up up!!

Lack of goods in Tea Gardens Store – Bi lo in Tea Gardens has no other rival store in the area. So many times you go into this Bi lo and there is nothing to buy in the bakers section where their bakers have not been baking fresh loaves. There is poor choice of goods and hardly any variety. many times to find something. As it is the only food shop in this community I think Bi lo should upgrade the store and give customers more variety and selection. More fresh fruit for instance and vegetables as we get sick of selecting from a limited supply, particularly for entertaining. I think many people travel outside of Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest to Woolies at Raymond Terrace and Charlestown to get nicer items than what is available at Bi Lo Tea Gardens. Some of the staff are good.

Poor Service – On 3 separate days i went to buy cooked 2 chickens the last being 1/12/2012 11.30am. declined the dry looking chickens and carried on looking for other food items to take on a picnic,as I forgot to get bread rolls I swung back in the direction of the Deli to see 3 other people getting the so called "customer order" chickens I asked one lady if she had a customer order or if she had just purchased them,she replied she had just walked up and asked for one.I was not happy as there were no more chickens left so I emptied all the food onto an aisle and went to Woolies at Mayfield.My question, is it common practice or is the staff they have in the Deli store starting to have racism ideals where they pick and choose who they sell the fresher chickens to??George Makirere

Very convienent to have in Thornton NSW – The store is a smaller one, as it has a big shopping centre nearby. But it is so handy to have close by and the sales are fantastic. The staff are helpful and friendly and it has a wide range of products and self service check outs. I shop there regularly. convienent

Customer Service & Friendly Staff – I regularly shop at Bi Lo South Grafton & have found the staff friendly and they provide efficient customer service. These staff attributes are important and give Bi Lo a competitive advantage over other supermarket providers. Bi Lo South Grafton has a wide range of products and I am in and out quickly & don't wait in long ques. Good customer service & friendly staff.

and when I checked my docket later it was an expensive large one. When I returned to pick it up, I decided not to swap it for a smaller one as he had saved it for me. The store layout is great, well stocked shelves and beautiful clean and shiny floors. Clean, well stocked and cheery staff Does not have much of a range of small packs of tobacco products

Bilo Cardiff – I do all my shopping at Bi-lo Cardiff and have done so for many years now. I find it an excellent Store. All the staff are very friendly and you get through very quickly. The Manager is also very obliging and helpful with any query. I would say it is the best Bi-Lo around keep up the good work I will continue to do my weekly shopping there Very Shopper friendly

And then get to spend a lot more time at the checkout perusing the impulse buys The generic products are either of poorer quality or more expensive than those of the largest competing chain.

They stopped stocking products at an alarming rate.

Basic commodity type products, like oil, sugar,flour,biros were frequently out of stock- except, sometimes, the most expensive. I had to buy in bulk somewhat, because it was highly likely that they would be out of stock the next time I went to buy it there.

Repeatedly tried to get a previosly stocked product back, which had apparently been selling well,even rang the customer relations line repeatedly, only to have the request veto-ed by "Melbourne".

Not my first choice – I haven't seen a bi lo in years, but I don't see what makes them a cheaper version of coles because there prices, quality and service to me is the same.

bought refrigerated pet food that's been "off" more than once and they're regularly out of stock of regular items. In contrast, the store at Thirroul has a larger range and is rarely out of stock - but then there is another supermarket in Thirroul which means they've some competition. I'd avoid shopping at bi-lo altogether if it were possible.

Never shop there again – I was disgusted, I shopped at Bi-Lo Killarney Vale and the girl that served me was extreamly rude. She also stunk really bad, it was to the point I left my shopping and went to Woolworths. I really hope something gets done about her. Her name was [name removed]. The service.

Terrible – My absolute least favourite supermarket. I have found the stores that I have been to very drab and unpleasant. Bi Los own generic brand does not compare in quality to other supermarkets and I haven't seen any evidence that their reputation for being one of the cheapest options for grocery shopping is actually true. Run down stores, smaller range, some things are cheap but most are not.

Excellent – Bilo is the place to shop for a bargain while still getting the brands you know and love. The Bilo home brand is also a plus. Staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful, always giving a smile. Fresh food is good and meat can be purchased in bulk. Excellent, competitive prices

didnt know what she was doing, spoke rudely to me and i feel that I was brushed off. produce can be a bit hit and miss, if they even have it in the first place! Shame about the bread, their generic is almost as expensive as the premium brands!

Cheaper fruit and vegies, Meat when on sale is great value have found a few product i have purchased either out of date or mouldy when i have bought home, sometimes the staff can be a little unfriendly (you get that everywhere though)

Terrible – Just an other grocery shop that will do in a pinch. definitely not a one stop shop were you can get the majority of needs upper commera store much quieter than the local woolies and has the basics in grocery needs in my experience poor quality sea food particularly the xmas prawns that were sulphuric smelling and inedible

about it. Our local BiLo has a poor variety of stock, has sold us with stock that is off, has fruit and veges that are sad and old for the most part, and for all that it says it is a discount shop, our local is very expensive. Perhaps because there is no competition close by.

Excellent – I love our local bi-lo. When I was heavily pregnant they would open a check out for me so I didn't have to stand in line. not really notice a big difference in the cost of produce compared with other supermarkets. However I often due shop at BI-LO and am happy to be a customer. I like the variety of foods available, and the service provided. I dislike the attractiveness of the overall appearance of the shop and the lack of products compared with other supermarkets.

when you have a big BBQ with all the rellies around! The queues get quite bad at times. The isles are skinny and not good for parents with prams. If you have kids make sure they all fit in the trolley!

so-called fresh fruit and veg. only to find the same day the quality is poor and some items such as apples or tomatoes are rotten inside. I have also bought sausages i.e from the meat dept. with several days till expiry but discovered when I cooked them the same day, they were clearly off. This happened on two occasions and I complained to the store manager in writing but received no reply on either occasion. Cheaper than most other supermarkets,plenty of room instore to wheel the trolley the overall range of products is not great and the fresh produce section is not great.

Bi-Lo is a pleasant place to shop. Bi-Lo has very poor quality produce. Every time I want to get something fresh from there it looks as though it has been sitting there for days. They never have enough staff on at the counter either.
